Un restaurante, una casa de dos pisos y más. La casa es cómoda y cómoda, y allí está el mundo de la fabulosa montaña de nieve en Suiza. El restaurante es un centenario de historia. Su casa de los Alpes es muy deliciosa. Algunas veces, las salchichas de la montaña que se recogen en su casa se hacen del olor natural, y comen la salchicha (**) recomendada por la mesa adyacente, un poco ácido, no le gusta, pero en peso es demasiado grande. El día siguiente de la mañana, caminando al lado del hotel, el paisaje es hermoso y personalmente no tiene importancia para vivir aquí una noche sin ir a la montaña de niñas, porque el paisaje es el mismo que el de las montañas de nieve y las montañas de pies de niñas. La única deficiencia es la carretera de montaña de 8 kilómetros de la ciudad de Intracan. Pero no hay problema para nosotros mismos, el hotel tiene un estacionamiento gratuito y el personal de servicio es muy amable.

My husband and I stayed at this property for three nights in the first week of October, 2022 booked through an agency in India. We reached Wilderswil at about 6:30 PM and were fascinated by the beauty of this village and of the inn as well. Conveniently far from the bustling town of Interlaken but also close enough to public transport that can get you there in under 20 minutes. The natural beauty here is enough to make you forgive the flight of stairs you have to lug your international luggage up- Ah what’s a rustic inn without some deficiency in technology? No problem. There was a warm welcome note from Erica and Bernard Muller (the inn owners) in the room and I looked forward to meeting them during our 3-night stay. Alas that was not to happen. The bathroom is quite minuscule and the shower only has a thin curtain to keep the water out, so you’re bound to end up with some spillage onto the floor. So as much as I hated to not continue using the same towel for all three days, I had to use it to soak up the water on the bathroom floor. We headed out that morning on our adventures making it a point to leave a ‘Clean my room’ tag outside the door as we left, and handed over the room key at the reception mentioning we’d like the room cleaned. We came back to the same messy room, linen unfolded and wet towels on the bathroom floor. Oh well, the housekeeping must have misunderstood the tag to be ‘Do not disturb’ as can occasionally happen. So we call the reception to ask for a couple of fresh towels sent up and a Ms. Fabian, flatly refuses. She says, we didn’t go into your room since you indicated ‘Do not disturb’ and now you can’t have fresh towels. “ Why do you need a fresh towel everyday? I don’t” she says when we insisted on one. At this point, I completely lose it and walk down the flight of stairs to the reception to demand some towels and Ms. Fabian says, she trusts her housekeeping more than customers when they tell her the DND sign was hung up. ‘It doesn’t matter what you tell at the reception, it matters what sign was out’. She goes on to tell us how ‘certain kind of people’ is always complaining. When probed as to what kind, she asks me where I’m from and then there you go! She probably didn’t understand the concept of ‘denominator’ as most people at the hotel were South Asians. I go on to explain to her that my degree in physics allows me to understand and explain to her that a short pavement and a negligible curtain cannot keep a turbulent stream of water from a hand held shower from at least minimally flooding the bathroom (condescending yes but wait for it!). She says she is too qualified to talk to ‘the likes of you (me)’. A few minutes later (as if upon someone’s instruction) she comes up to the room, fresh towels in hand saying she would like to ‘apologize for her honesty about us people’. All in all that ruined an exhilarating day we had and we were discussing options to move elsewhere, given the fact that agency had already made a f

En los detalles de la reserva no especificaba que el baño era compartido, y cuando llegamos allí vimos que el baño era compartido y la cocina era una única cocina pequeña y además compartida con todo el hotel. El hotel tampoco tiene ascensor. Además los huéspedes se quedan solos la mayoría de tiempo, ya que ka recepcionista sólo está unas horas durante el día. En los detalles de ls habitación pusimos jna cama doble extragrande, bueno pues fueron dos camas pequeñas juntas, además desgastadas porque el colchón se hundía por el medio. Le dijimos todo esto a la recepcionista y ella se burlaba de nosotros con arrogancia y en ningún momento nos quiso ayudar. Le dio completamente igual y encima nos mentía diciendo que sí que aparecía todo especificado, pero no me mostraba ninguna prueba de ello, yo a ella sí. Pero ella sigue y sigue mintiendo y burlándose de nosotros y de nuestro inglés.

We stayed for 2 nights in mid-May 2023. The hotel is just a five to seven minute walk from the Saanan Train Station and one station before Gstaad, if you come from Geneva, as we did. We reached around 9 pm in the evening and were allotted room 21, which is the room with the balcony on the 2nd floor; ( you will notice from the hotel photo), is perhaps one of the best rooms, being a corner room with balcony and lovely views. The dinner was just a vegan burger and a salad. Adequate. The bedrooms were entirely timbered, comfortable with sufficient storage and in-room heating from a radiator, placed under the front window. Toilet was a bit small and no bathroom slippers were provided. We requested but was told as it was a 3 star property, hence they did not provide it. Breakfast was the usual continental, with the hot items being only boiled eggs and choice of coffee/tea. Rest was cold meat, fruit, cereals, cheese and bread. Not the best which we have had, but acceptable. A few more hot choices especially in the eggs choice or sausages would have helped. There was only 1 lady who was looking after the breakfast area, the restaurant and the reception. Perhaps, because of low occupancy. However, what I wish to compliment the hotel staff about, was their help and co-operation in forwarding some clothes which we had mistakenly left behind. We connected with the hotel the very evening after we left and they confirmed that they had them. Their cost was not much but they had an emotional connect with us. We asked them to keep them with them till we could decide the way forward. As luck would have it, some family members are visiting Switzerland at the time of writing this review (in early July 2023) and staying for a few days in Bern. The staff, on our request, packed and sent the stuff to the Bern hotel after coordinating with the Bern hotel, on phone. They never asked us for any payment though we were willing to pay for it. This is outstanding customer service.
