Kingsbury hotel is in a prime location closer to the beach activities. Some rooms are with sea view. Shopping mall is nearby that offers variety of shops and services. Restaurants provide wide selection of food options with local and international cuisines. The rooms are carpeted which emits old odour. The room furniture needs modernising. We experienced issues with booking. They couldn’t find our booking and gave us a room in a lower floor and the furnitures were old with smelly carpet. On my complaint, we were upgraded to a suite room in a higher floor which was classy and the view was excellent. Don’t know I can afford to stay in a suite. The staffs were helpful. I didn’t have a chance to use all amenities but I noticed there were many options. I will stay again if I am given a room in a higher floor or if I can afford a suite room.

El personal fue excepcionalmente cortés, atento y profesional durante toda mi estancia, lo que hizo que la experiencia fuera perfecta y agradable. En resumen, una estancia fantástica con un servicio excepcional. Muy recomendable tanto para viajeros de negocios como de placer.

La habitación era limpia y cómoda, y el personal era muy amable y útil. La ubicación es conveniente, y todo satisface mis expectativas. Excelente valor por dinero. Me gustaría quedarme aquí otra vez y recomendarlo a otros.

Hay una piscina infinita en el último piso con una linda vista. La habitación está bien, comparable a Orange o Lavande en China. Es estándar en la mayoría de los hoteles de Sri Lanka no proporcionar cepillos de dientes ni zapatillas. El desayuno es muy bueno, rico en variedad y las tolvas deliciosas😋

This is a fine place to stay for a night in Colombo, but for such a new hotel there are already issues that are concerning. The Pros: Staff are very helpful and friendly, the rooftop bar has some of the best cocktails and shisha we’ve had in Sri Lanka (shoutout Gayan). Check in and out was easy, and despite our early checkout we were provided with a breakfast pack to takeaway. The room is spacious and the view of Colombo magnificent. The Cons: This place opened in 2024 and sadly has not been well maintained. Already there are numerous issues with dirt and general wear and tear, and it seems that there were no attempts to future-proof the hotel. There are no USB-C charging slots which is odd for a new hotel, and no smart room functions which is often a key part of any new hotel. Also for some reason our toilet would keep water running through the flush non stop, and the tap for the sink is positioned so oddly that it basically soaks the whole bathroom countertop. The main issue however is the cleanliness. In general it was fine but not great - our carpet had numerous stains for instance. However, one of our pillows and one of our towels both contained noticeable dirt patches on them - that should be unacceptable at a hotel like this, and certainly in a suite such as ours. The Amari is fine, but I was disappointed and expected more. My concern is that despite opening in 2024, it feels as if it was opened in 2004.

It is impossible to cook on the stove, there is no microwave. - The furniture in the living room has an unpleasant smell and is dirty; - The iron board is dirty; - The curtains need to be changed; Reception: + They are polite; + Check-in was quickly; Restaurant (breakfast and dinner): + The quality of the products is high; + Variety of dishes; + The chefs are great; - There are a lot of guests on Saturday and Sunday due to the holidays, the priority for hotel guests is falling; Guards and butlers: + They seemed competent and friendly to me; + The rest of the staff are friendly and polite; Swimming pool: + Good view; + The kids liked it;

El hotel está muy cerca de la playa. Hay un restaurante asiático cerca, que es delicioso y conveniente para viajar. Hay un A ** enfrente para retirar dinero. La piscina está limpia, el servicio es bueno y la habitación está bien. limpio e higiénico.
