7.5/10 Location: Outside of “central” Athens but easily connected by metro & buses. Kifisia is gorgeous, safe, filled with high end boutiques, restaurants + cafes. Room/Ambience: Hotel itself is stunning + very relaxing vibe. Decor details incredible as expected of a boutique hotel of this nature.  Food: Very good selection of hot + cold, plus actual barista coffee. Do not expect American style breakfast - this is Europe after all. We did not eat lunch or dinner but the menus looked great and was filled with locals in the evening. Service: Although reception staff were sufficiently friendly, service very lacking for a high end boutique hotel. It was 26 degrees celsius every day while in Athens. Not prior to our stay, nor during check-in did anyone advise us that the pool was closed likely until end of May. This is not advertised on any booking platform, or on the hotel website, which was very disappointing. We sat in the pool lounge chairs for over two hours (staff saw us as the restaurant is immediately adjacent). Nobody offered us pool towels to lie on, or if we wanted to order any drinks or food. My partner had to get dressed, go to reception and ask. They didn’t even offer to clean the pool given the hot weather made it ready for use. It really put a downer on our stay, and why we opted not to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. Similar experience at breakfast; nobody offered us coffee orders, we heard someone else order and realised it was available.

This place is quite unusual. My room was upgraded so that I had a suite over two floors, with a small private pool on another lower level. Absolutely every convenience had been considered, some extras might verge on overkill (bog roll tied up with a ribbon for example). The room looked amazing on first inspection, but I quite quickly realised the smell of the pool was so strong it stung my eyes, and the sound of the ventilation unit was quite a roar. There was only one small openable window on the mezzanine level next to the bed and I had to sleep with that open as wide as possible. Bed was extremely comfortable, I had to turn off the pool ventilator unit in the middle of the night because it kept waking me up, but once I had done that and the smell of baking bread entered the room from a bakery down the road I slept like a log. Staff were really nice and friendly, but they are working with quite difficult circumstances and perhaps unnecessarily. The kitchen is on the bottom floor and breakfast is served on the 5th floor roof (from which you can see the Parthenon) breakfast is a little awkward as you get a huge wicker basket 🧺 full of food plus crepes, plus omelette, plus tuna sandwich, a whole baguette (some more little ribbons), and I am not sure anyone can eat as much as is provided, and the server had to keep travelling up and down in the one person elevator. Probably would be better to ask guests what they would like to have for breakfast out of the options available and have a coffee/tea station upstairs. There is the option to take lunch in your room - for which the picnic basket concept makes a lot more sense. Seems like there should be a way to make the place feel more efficient and common sensible. I did get the feeling that they might have only just opened and are finding their feet, so I hope this review will be useful - certainly was a generous accommodation and staff are working very hard to make sure guests have the best possible experience.

El hotel está muy bien diseñado, moderno, elegante y cuidadosamente curado sin sentirse pretencioso. El despertar a las vistas de Atenas y salir a la ciudad en minutos hizo que nuestro largo fin de semana se sintiera insatisfactorio. El problema con los mosquitos es crítico, ya que la piel de mi hija es muy sensible y cualquier picadura puede provocar una inflamación terrible, que fue precisamente lo que le ocurrió. El último día no había agua caliente, así que tuve que ducharme con agua ligeramente tibia.

La ubicación es agradable cerca del centro de Atenas y en la playa, no la más agradable (Voula, vollagmeni) la carretera delante del hotel es muy ocupada. La piscina en el techo es perfecta, hermosa vista desde el techo, el desayuno también es excelente, el personal es muy amable. Las habitaciones estaban muy limpias, la ducha bien se hace más limpia. Pero en total un hotel muy bueno

Todo perfecto, la comida muy buena. La única pega es que la ubicación que está a casi 700metros de la estación de metro más cercana. La terraza tiene una vista espectacular de la ciudad, ya que es de los edificios más altos de la zona, la vista de noche excelente. El servicio muy bueno la limpieza igual. Sin duda volvería a hospedame allí.

Muy limpio, cerca de la estación, personal amable. Desafortunadamente, los rusos en las habitaciones contiguas estuvieron haciendo mucho ruido hasta medianoche, yendo y viniendo de una habitación a otra, lo que me hizo sentir mal. El sonido cuando la puerta se abría y cerraba también era extremadamente fuerte. ¿Es inevitable porque el nivel de población es bajo?

El hotel estuvo bien, solo que las instalaciones se encuentran en mantenimiento y hay mucho ruido durante todo el día, la habitación fue un poco pequeña la cama estaba muy cerca del baño, privacidad se ve un poco afectada, pero en general buena atención del staff

The hotel was sleek. I like the minimalist style of the hotel. Looks very new. The receptions area was bright and shiny. Classy. The hotel has a rooftop restaurant and a swimming pool (do not know if you can swim in the summer). It is not that big. From the rooftop you can see the parthenon. It was nice! The staff there are friendly and helpful. The food is okay and drinks were good though hotel price as we all know, is pricey. The room was spacious enough but they had no telephone to use to call the receptions if ever you need anything. However, I like that they had a nespresso. The location though is not that near to Plaka and Acropolis. It’s almost more than a kilometer away but it’s a straight line. If you are a walker, that would be a good warm up. They could call you a cab any time and they had all the information that we needed. Downside: Elevator was slow and noise from the hallway and the road could easily be heard. Wish they would do something to make the rooms sound proof.
