This lovely art deco inspired hotel is a small, boutique hotel set in a fabulous location to enjoy Sydney. While centrally located, it is a nice and quiet for a good night’s sleep. It is walking distance to almost everything - short walk to nearby bars and restaurants and Central station and a bit further walk to Oxford St or the CBD, or just 40 minutes to the Opera House. The hotel is beautifully designed and finished. The bed and bathroom were very comfortable and the complimentary coffee/pastries/ fruit breakfast is very enjoyable. There is a lovely roof top terrace and an honour snack and drinks bar to enjoy too. Every room is different with clever design to make the most of their size. We stayed in a cosy room (107) and, as the website says, it is snug for a couple! We managed fine and really enjoyed our stay but personally I would have preferred a luggage rack to the sitting chair (which is overly large for a small room). The staff were all welcoming and professional. This is our second stay in a Crystalbrook hotel and both have been excellent.

I stayed at the ACE for 2 weeks during a recent business trip and I was very impressed. (And when it comes to hotels. I'm not easy to please to please.) Most importantly, the rooms were super clean. As a bonus, the bed was comfortable too. The restaurant had good food and the staff was friendly and helpful at every turn. For a hotel, the gym was pretty good with treadmills, a rowing machine, dumbbells' up to 50lbs and Kettlebells. My only complaint is that the bar area gets very loud. I could actually hear the bass coming from the music on the 4th floor at night. I asked to be moved to a higher floor and after that I had no issues. Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely new boutique hotel in an area that felt a bit similar to Soho, close to Central train station. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Rooms are compact but have everything you need and was sufficient space for 2 people, and very comfortable.

El hotel es un hotel muy agradable, y el hotel es muy agradable. La habitación es muy agradable, pero no es muy agradable. Las habitaciones estaban limpias. Y este hotel está a 100 metros de la estación central, por lo que el transporte nunca fue un problema. Definitivamente nos quedaríamos aquí otra vez.

I would highly recommend this Hotel - I have to travel to Sydney regularly for Business and its location near Central Station makes it an ideal hub. The staff are friendly and the management especially -Nick Thapa are responsive to any needs or concerns. Loved my stay and also enjoyed using Trip.com for the first time to book my stay.

No había espacio para equipaje, no había rastros de equipaje - nos dijeron que no tenían suficiente. Esto significaba una bolsa en el piso y una en la mesa de plástico muy pequeña. La ducha y las paredes de la baño tenían el mismo patrón de matriz de puntos que una puerta de microondas. No sólo se ve el ducha, se sentó en el trono con una vista completa, tratando de hacer su negocio. Entonces la percepción puede estar viendo alguien. La solución era utilizar el baño público de abajo para actividades importantes.

Se trata de una sala de estar y dos dormitorios, con cocina y lavandería, dos dormitorios con una cama queen y una cama doble. En la cocina hay tazas, tazas, cucharas y tenedores, además de lavavajillas tostadores. Es genial para nosotros traer comida china a Australia. Compramos fideos, huevos y nos cocinamos en un supermercado cercano. El desayuno estuvo buenísimo. Sin embargo, el hotel no proporciona cepillos de dientes y pantuflas desechables, solo champú y productos de baño. También hay una muy cercana al centro de la ciudad. El autobús para 5 a 6 hasta el ayuntamiento. Hay Woolworth a unos 500 metros. La desventaja es que la puerta del baño no se mueve muy bien. El agua estará caliente y fría cuando te bañes, y si no necesitas bañarte con los suministros, aunque solo te queden un poco, no te agregará otros nuevos al día siguiente.

We stayed here for 4 nights in May 2022 and what a calamity of an experience. It even begun before we landed in Sydney with them cancelling our booking due to a water leak in the room they allocated to us. After trying to find alternative accommodation at the last minute we were then advised all was OK. The greeting when we arrived was good and we were shown our room located directly behind the communal kitchen (room 1). Apparently they supplied a continental breakfast each morning with bakery items, cereals, orange juice, coffee but you wouldn't know it because only on one morning of the four we were there we were greeted with leftover crumbs or one lonely croissant. On one morning there was even no milk, coffee or orange juice at all. This place does not have a manned reception which I have no issue with but each time we went downstairs to the bar to ask a question we were treated with distain from the girls working there. The room was spacey but just really poor hygiene and basic....very basic. Then to top it off on our final night the vanity in the bathroom fell off the wall and onto me throwing out all our toiletries and leaving me with a heavy bang on the head. They couldn't fix the problem and instead arranged alternate accommodation at another hotel so we had to pack up our bags and relocate unexpectedly. By the time we got to the other hotel it was 11:15pm and we had to leave the following morning. They didn't even offer us any compensation or at the very least a breakfast voucher considering we had only managed to get something to eat on 1 of the 4 mornings we were there. Just really poor service with little regard to how it impacted us. NEVER AGAIN.
