A Truly Exceptional Stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto Our family had a wonderful experience at The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto, and we left with nothing but gratitude and happy memories. From the moment we arrived, the service was flawless and heartfelt — the kind of genuine hospitality that makes a trip feel truly special. A huge thank you to Cecilia and Vinnie from the Guest Experience team, who went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and comfortable. Their warmth, attentiveness, and thoughtful gestures made us feel incredibly welcomed. A very special shout-out to Cecilia, who noticed my daughter’s love for Winnie the Pooh after our visit to Disneyland Resort. She prepared a beautiful card, a sweet message, and even a handmade Pooh origami and placed it in our room. It absolutely made our daughter’s day — such a thoughtful touch we will never forget. We also want to commend Yuki from the restaurant team for his warm and wonderful breakfast service each morning. His kindness and attention to detail set the perfect tone to start our day. The Ritz Kids adventure passport was a delightful surprise — engaging not only for our daughter but also enjoyable for us as parents. And of course, we loved the festive Christmas atmosphere, especially the beautiful Christmas tree and the amazing gingerbread house with the incredible aroma that filled the lobby. The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto truly exceeded our expectations in every way. We felt cared for, welcomed, and genuinely appreciated. We can’t wait to return again. Highly recommended for families and anyone seeking an unforgettable Kyoto stay.

Hotel is quite new and tastefully decorated. Room spacious and layout is functional. Dressing/ basin area rather dim, need to have brighter ( whiter ) light for make up etc. Location is very good, few minutes away from metro and walkable to the Hankyu train station, short distance away from the main shopping areas and plenty of good restaurants around. Breakfast area is quite cramped, food variety and taste are good, worth a try. 

The Fauchon was a truly great find in Kyoto. The hotel is lovely with beautiful rooms and decor.They made our 30th anniversary celebration really special. The hotel staff was warm and welcoming. They even went out of the way to help when medical attention was needed. The transportation arranged for our arrival and departure was perfect. The breakfast was a highlight of the day. The room amenities included coffee, tea, and pastries. How nice! We can’t wait to visit again. 

El hotel está ubicado en la estación JR, lo que facilita mucho ir a cualquier parte, incluso para hacer compras y comer desde la salida sin salir. La habitación es amplia y el servicio es excelente. Merece la pena alojarse en este hotel.

Este hotel es muy popular, con una decoración e instalaciones agradables, ideal para viajes familiares. Es una buena opción para alojarse durante su visita a Pekín. El servicio también es muy bueno y atento.

Excelente ubicación... templos, Gion, distrito comercial, estación de tren, siete once, restaurantes, etc. Excelentes habitaciones... camas cómodas, controlar la temperatura de su propia habitación. Personal útil. Altamente recomendado este hotel.

Very convenient, spacious, and modern Airbnb stay. The unit is well-equipped with almost everything you need, including a washing machine, drying rack, cooking utensils, grill stove, coffee machine, and other useful amenities. The space is surprisingly large and very comfortable, especially for families or groups. The location is also great, with a grocery store, restaurants, and other conveniences nearby, making daily needs easily accessible. One thing to note is that there is a cemetery directly behind the property. For guests who are sensitive to this, it may be something to consider before booking. However, if this does not bother you, the stay is otherwise excellent. The only issue we encountered was during check-in. The elderly front desk staff could not communicate in English and was initially unwilling to assist us. Even though our booking was fully paid and confirmed, we had to repeatedly explain the situation before he finally provided the check-in code. It appeared that the information was already available in the system, so the process was more frustrating than necessary. Other than the check-in experience, everything else was great. Overall, a comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped stay that offers excellent value for money.

El hotel ha sido inaugurado recientemente y tiene un diseño muy elegante. Continúa con los elementos de madera consistentes del Banyan Tree para brindar a las personas una sensación fresca y natural. Lo que más me gusta es el baño privado de madera de la habitación. Elogie el spa de aguas termales. El hotel ofrece cenas y desayunos exquisitos. Caminar por el pequeño jardín del hotel temprano en la mañana y contemplar el denso bosque de bambú es muy curativo. El servicio del personal es cálido y atento, educado y meticuloso, al nivel del techo.

Las habitaciones públicas de los onsen eran estupendas, e incluso las privadas, aunque pequeñas, tenían su propio encanto único. Aunque también estaría bien que hubiera un temporizador para su uso, para que la gente no tuviera que esperar demasiado. El propio ryokan tiene un estilo agradablemente antiguo, y el diseño y los muebles de las habitaciones lo reflejan, pero en algunos casos, un poco de renovación aquí y allá sería bienvenida. Nuestra habitación tampoco tenía cortinas, solo unas antiguas corredizas de papel. Lo que significaba que la habitación estaba luminosa como el mediodía desde las 6 a. m. ¡Quizás demasiado anticuado para nuestro gusto! Reservamos una habitación con cena y desayuno incluidos, ambos de estilo kaiseki. Una presentación muy agradable, pero el sabor en sí no era nada especial. Además, el hotel estaba muy concurrido y el personal no dejaba de recordarnos que teníamos una cantidad determinada de tiempo antes de terminar nuestras comidas; definitivamente no era un ambiente relajante, donde pudieras disfrutar de cada bocado. Pero ofrecían un ramen a altas horas de la noche, ideal para quienes terminaban de comer en el onsen.

The hotel had an authentique Japanese feel to it , very spacious rooms , kind staff , and perfect location ! If you are coming from Tokyo to get another feel of Japan then this must be the perfect location ! Being used to major hotels in Tokyo , this came as a contrast , it felt like a traditional home but with all the luxuries you need. I highly recommend
