Front desk can get more training on customer and professionalism. Check in and check out lacks personalities, not much expressions, very flat. A little hiccup with housekeeping, the house keeping manager was extremely patient and eager to assist. She had made the experience much more enjoyable, very professional. Without her, the service would be rated at 1 out of 5.

Pros: Very modern and well-equipped hotel. Comfortable bed with an excellent mattress. Room was spotlessly clean. Excellent shower with large rainfall shower head and shampoo etc provided. Tea, water, kettle and a small tea set provided. Excellent lighting, including different settings for working / reading / warm evening lighting etc. Plenty of space in the room for luggage and moving around comfortably. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Location not bad - just across the road from a mall with lots of restaurants, and a few minutes walk from bus stops or the metro. Cons: I booked a non-smoking room, and although the room itself was fine there were still people smoking in the corridor directly outside my room. I felt quite uncomfortable as a woman travelling alone hearing men's voices directly outside my room late at night as they were chatting while smoking by the window (there was a cigarette bin just by the elevators / window, which essentially made the space outside my room the default smoking spot on my floor). I also saw some workers smoking in the hotel lobby. I mentioned this to the front desk staff and they didn't seem to understand the problem with people smoking inside the public areas of the hotel. I gave a low score for ”cleanliness” to reflect this smoking issue and second hand smoke health risk, rather than due to any cleanliness issues in terms of hygiene. Additionally, my room was right next to the elevator, so I was woken several times each night by people using the elevator (which was very loud). Finally, the room came with a ”smart toilet” but this was really not good at all! All it did was half open automatically every time I moved nearby (very annoying when I was using the sink to brush my teeth etc) or flush automatically while I was still sitting on it, and the bidet didn't seem to be working (perhaps the bidet function wasn't actually installed?).

This was by far the best value-for-money hotel I stayed at during my trip back to China—Atour Hotel, Hualin Road, Fuzhou. The facilities are thoughtful and well-maintained, the room was clean and comfortable, and attention to detail was impressive. What I loved the most was the bed—it was perfectly balanced and incredibly cozy. The front desk staff were friendly and professional, the overall experience exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended, will definitely stay here again next time .

La decoración del ambiente exterior también me ganó el corazón. Por no hablar de la ubicación. El personal interior también es muy cálido y considerado. ¡Realmente tomaste la decisión correcta! La habitación ciertamente no es grande y no hay muchas habitaciones, pero a este precio, creo que la relación calidad-precio de alojarse en este hotel es buena. También fuimos a experimentar la tienda de maquillaje en la puerta, lo cual es muy recomendable. El Hanfu proporcionado por el hotel se veía bien, pero fuimos a la tienda frente al hotel y no lo disfrutamos. ¡También utilicé el té de autoservicio que me proporcionaron y quedé muy satisfecho!

We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed every moment here. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the view was absolutely beautiful, especially looking out toward the beach—it was exactly as shown and completely worth it 🌊✨ The place is very kid-friendly, which made our stay even more comfortable as a family. The service was outstanding—thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely caring. A special highlight was the afternoon tea and evening snacks thoughtfully placed on our door handle. It was such a lovely surprise and really showed how much attention the team puts into small details. We absolutely loved this thoughtful touch 💛 Although the weather wasn’t very favorable during our stay, we still enjoyed relaxing by the window, taking in the sea view, and feeling the calm atmosphere. Even on a cloudy day, the experience was peaceful and enjoyable. Breakfast was another big plus—delicious, satisfying, and generous, leaving us happily full and ready for the day 😄 Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a beautiful seaside experience. We truly appreciate the care and effort from the entire team and would love to visit again!

Good location and near to the MRT. Walking distance to the night market as well as 三坊七巷。 Free fruits daily. The staff has assisted to put us in the same floor for the other room booking. The breakfast is delicious and has wide spread of variety. But under staff to clear the plates.

Muy cariñoso y hospitalario! El desayuno era de estilo japonés y estaba planeado la noche anterior. Incluso tomé un refrigerio nocturno, ”xiaochi”, mi última noche: ¡una sopa nutritiva y saludable! Se habla inglés, aunque hablo mandarín básico. Solicité una habitación con ventana y en una hora pudieron trasladarme. Me ofrecieron servicio de té sentado y me llevaron a un restaurante local cercano. La zona es preciosa para la zona de San/3 Alleys, Yunshan Mtn y el templo, cafeterías, tiendas, paseos fluviales y paseos en bicicleta. El viaje al área del historial de envíos, Mawei, está un poco lejos, pero hay muchos Didis disponibles. Ojalá la recepción hubiera recomendado algunos lugares de interés cercanos. No pude encontrar mi museo de historia marítima favorito ni mi mirador británico.

El hotel es un hotel muy bueno en China, el mejor de los seis en las últimas semanas para mí. ¡Por ejemplo, me ayudaron a llegar a un pueblo en la playa de la isla de Pintan y luego me inspeccionaron la noche para asegurarme de que regresé en seguridad! 🌊 Great Service and Beach Location, But a Few Things to Know! We had a mixed but overall good experience here, mostly thanks to the wonderful staff. The Positives & The Room ✨ The service here is genuinely good! We originally booked a standard Twin room, but the hotel kindly upgraded us to a Family room. The upgraded room was absolutely awesome—very big, comfortable, and perfectly clean. Even though the hotel building itself feels a little bit old and dated, the spacious room really made up for it. Location & Beach 🏖️ The hotel is located right by the sea, which is beautiful. There are a few cafes right on the beach, though keep in mind their menus are quite limited. Also, unless you are visiting during the peak hot summer season, you won't be able to swim in the ocean because of the weather. The Downsides: Pool & Noise 🚧 Since we couldn't swim in the sea, we were hoping to use the pool, but unfortunately, the swimming pool was closed. I highly recommend contacting the hotel to check if the pool is operating before you book! The biggest issue during our stay, however, was the noise. There was active construction going on, and they were constantly fixing the roof next door. It was quite noisy and definitely disrupted the peaceful beach vibe. Bottom Line: A great beachfront location with excellent service and spacious rooms, but definitely double-check the pool and construction status before your trip!
