The hotel is located fairly centrally in the island of Pingtan in a small village. Its exterior is nicely decorated with lights, and if you arrive late at night like we did, you’ll thank for that, as it shines like a beacon in a otherwise not very well lit street. The service shone from the beginning. One of the staff was ready to help us with our luggage and show us in, and there was no delay with the registration of my passport (something that as any foreigner that has travelled in the Chinese Mainland will be able to tell, is not something to take for granted), and was immediately added to WeChat, where through the entire trip I was kept updated on everything relevant to us as guests, from the time breakfast was ready, to the fact that a guest with a dog was going to stay in a room next to ours (to which they offered to change if we needed in case any of us was scared or allergic to dogs). Breakfast was always kept warm for us, even when we were coming down late and were not expecting it to be there, and in general the staff’s attitude was always what you would expect in a bigger, more established (and more expensive) hotel, but with a home-stay twist. The hotel is not very close to any scenic spot or touristic destination, but they offer a service of e-bike rental that we used through the trip, and that we’d recommend to anybody is staying here as it took transportation off the list of things we had to think about, and allowed us to fully take advantage of the central location of the inn. With 2 people per bike, going very far North, or South to the city (sometimes both in one trip), we never ran too close to empty our batteries. The room was clean, big enough, and as we were staying on the last floor and our door opened to a patio, very well ventilated. The patio also proved to be a nice place to sit and chill or eat, and I was able to make work I had to finish feel less of a sore in the middle of my holidays. The only things I’d add or change to the room experience are a place to hang clothes (there wasn’t any closet or the sort), the toilet paper (they offered tissues but they don’t feel the same when you want to, you know, keep your hands clean), and real towels (they offer disposable towels, but they’re just not the same). In conclusion, not only I would come back but I most certainly will, as I had an amazing trip and this inn played no small part in it. Would 100% recommend if you like less noisy, more home stay-ey atmosphere, and don’t mind to be a few minutes drive from the city.

Booked 3 rooms for 2 nights stay. Rooms were clean with modern amenities. Bedsheets used were white in colour like normal hotels. Towels were disposable type. Overseas guests be warned that you need to get in touch with the rooms owner. Luckily for us we had Wechat. Our air transfer driver did assisted us by calling the owner on his phone. That was because your room number and at which floor with the door security key numbers as well as the room door code would be send to you. Secondly, once you gained entrance to your apartment unit, you needed to go up a flight of stairs (troublesome with luggage). Each apartment unit, the owner had converted to either 2 or 3 individual rooms. Location was near a lot of eateries and we even managed to have supper around midnight at one of the eateries inside the apartment complex. Also there were a number of convenience stores that opened till late or even 24 hours. There was a metro station within 15 minutes walk. One added bonus was that there was a washing machine inside the room Concluding, the owner should have sent the doors security codes to us via Trip.com to avoid the hustle in checking in

Originalmente había reservado para una noche, pero terminé quedándome otra noche porque es incómodo caminar y comer si vives cerca del mar, y el estacionamiento es complicado en la mayoría de las capitales del condado. Al final, elegí este porque tiene una zona de estacionamiento exclusiva. Aunque tengo que dar un rodeo, sigue siendo mucho mejor que la situación actual en la capital del condado, donde la gente aparca en todas partes. Después de comparar muchos hoteles del condado, éste tiene la mejor relación calidad-precio. Hay una calle ancha frente al hotel, que es fácil de encontrar y conveniente para comer. Hay un restaurante de papilla de marisco Li Ji al lado, que tiene una puntuación alta en Dianping.com y también es muy bueno en las pruebas reales. Se puede desayunar a poca distancia a pie y se puede pedir comida para llevar. En general, la ubicación es excelente en el condado. La sala está en buenas condiciones, tiene ascensor y una bonita decoración. Hay un televisor de proyección para que los miembros de Youku puedan ver la televisión. La principal desventaja es el servicio. La chica de recepción no nos ayudó con la pila de cajas para personas mayores y niños, sino que se quedó allí esperando a que las llevaras tú solo. Perks: Near a big shopping centre, convenience stores galore, plenty of affordable places to eat, very close to the metro station, there is a gorgeous park 5~7 min walk from the flat. Many public bicycles to choose from (although with a foreign passport, only the blue bikes named Hello bike are available). The room is gorgeous, with half of the room fitted with windows. Being on the 17th floor, the scenery is gorgeous. You can see the beautiful mountains surrounding parts of the area. The flat is clean, with a kettle available, 2 free bottles of water, toilet paper, towels, free toiletry. There is a big fridge with freezer compartment in the kitchen. Comfortable bed. There is a big wardrobe with plenty of hangers. Free washing machine is a PLUS! Downsides: Being on the 17th floor, it takes ages to go up and down..You have to queue to access the lifts. The flat is noisy (the rain in itself, when touching the windows), the neighbours (I don't think the neighbours were particularly noisy, just the building having thin walls and ceilings/floors): You can hear the kid upstairs running, the next door neighbour singing etc. There is also a machine (couldn't figure out what it was) right next to the washing machine, it makes a loud noise 24/7, like a boiler.

Fuzhou Wanxin Hotel is an excellent choice for travelers with overnight stays or short transit flights at Changle International Airport. One of the biggest highlights is the free airport transfer, which makes arrival and departure very smooth and stress-free. The hotel offers great value for money, especially when compared to the capsule hotel inside the airport, which is much smaller yet costs about the same. Here, you get a proper room with more space and comfort. The host is very friendly and helpful, making the stay even more pleasant. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and convenient stopover near the airport.

Stayed: 5 days during a business trip. Hotel & atmosphere: Serviced apartment with electric kettle, washing machine, fridge, and electric cooking facilities. No pans or plates provided. Bed was firm but comfortable. Disposable towels were provided. Overall, a pleasant and convenient stay. Location: Located in the same building as the Holiday Inn Express (first 10 floors), with a separate entrance on the side. Many food options nearby within walking distance, plus a mall with two top floors full of restaurants. Room & noise: Room insulation is average, but neighbors were quiet. Service & communication: Friendly and attentive service. Staff use translation tools to communicate. Breakfast: No breakfast available. Several tea and coffee options downstairs (including Starbucks), small Chinese eateries, and two convenience stores. Transport: Fuzhou Train Station about 10 minutes away. Zuhu Metro Station within walking distance. DiDi taxis via Alipay are convenient and affordable. Value for money: Very good value for the price paid. Overall: Comfortable, well located, and good value. I would recommend it for business stays.

The apartment is located inside a modern high rise building (with four elevators) in the middle of what appears to be a middle class neighborhood. The building is within walking distance (I estimate 10-15 minutes tops) of the Fuzhou-South railway station. However. When me and my friend arrived there we decided to take a cab due to heavy rain - and we got yelled at because the driver was unhappy about the destination being so close to the railway station We yelled back and the driver apologized. We later realized that it would have been smarter to order a DiDi as cab drivers have to wait in line long time to get a railway customer and it is understandable that they want a customer who wants to go to the city center. Still. He had no right to yell at us. This is what the minimum fee is for. Anyway. It is one of those high rise buildings that is built around a huge mall. Plenty of shops, drug stores, markets, restaurants (outside the mall) are within 5 minute radius. A mall entrance is within 3 minute walking distance. Very very convenient location. Not only so. Every day after 10:00pm there is a night market down the street where you can buy all sorts of delicious snacks even grilled oysters and steak. Me and my friend had no issue locating the apartment because upon arriving at Fuzhou-South we got in touch with the owner. The owner then befriended me on WeChat, sent us the address, pictures of the entrance, description of how to open the main apartment door and the key lockers. Piece of cake. TBH I initially did not understand how to enter the code into the electronic door lock and so the owner came to assist. She was there within minutes after we asked for help. The apartment is basically a bedroom with huge screen, beamer, queensize bed, workplace with sink, water cooker, washing machine, dining table and a nice, big fridge. Naturally you also have your own bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Everything was very clean and me and my friend were super happy with our choice. I initially thought that the mattress was too firm but then I slept very well on it. You have to take a cab or DiDi to the city center but its not far so it is not expensive. The A/C works very well. The view from the 18th floor is amazing. Would I stay there again? Given the good location, hygiene and price I would absolutely stay there again.

Overall, it was a great experience! It’s in a lively area with shops and safe to walk even after sunset (but still at a reasonably hour). There’s a supermarket about 5 min walk and a seven-11 right next to the hotel entrance. They upgraded us because when we checked in they did not have our room ready yet. The room was spacious and had two chairs and a table as a seating area right next to the window! The bed was comfortable and everything seemed clean. They even helped us set up our wifi because we couldn’t get it to work. Our favorite place is the little bakery place outside the hotel on the corner. They have the BEST cream puffs! We got it every night. They are dense but so delicious!! Another amazing thing is that the airport shuttle is RIGHT across the street. Our flight was at 9am and the local bus doesn’t run until 6:30 and it takes an hour so it wouldve been really difficult/ expensive to get there otherwise that early. Luckily, the airport shuttle service starts at 5am! It was 31RMB per person.
