Pretty nice overall. I stayed for 3 nights. The staffs are really nice and helpful. The room is spacious and has a really nice view, compared to the same price hotel near the lake. Just some comments on the meals. The hotel offers breakfast and dinner for my booking. Breakfast (mini buffet liked) options stay the same, I mean absolute same. For dinner, the first night is amazing, with chicken hotpot, steak, appetizer and dessert. Second night, beef Sukiyaki (kind of like beef hotpot with a sweet soup/sause and rawegg), appetizer and dessert. Kind of okay, I would say as I was hoping to see something more differerent and, to me, it is a bit like a downgraded version (not by far tho) of the first night. And the third night, beef Shabu-shabu (water based hotpot), appetizer and dessert. Quite disappointing as I would refer it more or less the same as second night maindish Sukiyaki but taking away the raw egg and sweet soup based. I would recommend staying for 2 nights max if you don't want to have hotpot everynight About the Onsen, there are one indoor and outdoor onsen each for men and women. Not too big, but the size is enough as there are not too many people using that during my stay. I am not sure if it is normal for Japanese Onsen but I see there is quite a number of materials in the outdoor onsen. I cannot tell what those are, kind of like dead skin to me tho. Not too comfortable with it (although I went there three times during my stay).

I want to thank hosts of Akari no yado personally. The hosts were nice and worked really hard to feel ourselves at home. The place was clean and the common room was big and comfortable. Bathroom was old fashioned but if you want modern bathrooms you were able to use the bath house for showers and toilets in the common area. Breakfast is made of pastries and all I had was pretty delicious. You can also have marmalade and margarine with breakfast pastries and there are drinks (tea/coffee/milk/juice) to choose from. We checked out early and hosts prepared our breakfast to go even if it wasn’t breakfast time yet. They even drove us to the station when we asked if they would be able to call us a taxi! Bath house was spacious with two different baths. System is easy and we were able to use it whenever we wanted (between 16.00-23.00 of course). They are giving free rental yukatas and they were so comfy. They also have guides everywhere to help you (our room even had a guide on how to prepare a futon bed!) the place felt like we were part of a  family and that was the most amazing part for me. I even got teary eyed when it was time to go. Thank you Akari no yado! Hope to see you soon again!

I spent at Kaniyu 2 nights and absolutely loved it! Upon my arrival, there was an English-speaking staff member at the reception, Mr. Tamaki, who kindly upgraded my room for free - thank you so much for that! The room was spacious and clean. It was a bit cool inside, but the heating system worked really well and warmed up the room quickly; the controls were very simple and convenient to use. The futon was comfortable, the blanket was warm and cozy, and although the pillow was a bit too firm for me, I slept just fine without it. The room was equipped with everything needed: towels, yukata for changing, bathroom amenities, and more. Both breakfast and dinner were made from a variety of fresh ingredients — everything was delicious and filling. I tried many dishes for the first time and really enjoyed them! The stuff was very nice and friendly, a canteen lady who helped me to take a picture was very kind! The onsen was absolutely amazing. The hot, milky water was incredibly relaxing (not that smelly for my taste), and the cool outdoor air felt refreshing. I visited it after sunset as well, and it was an unforgettable experience: chilling in hot springs while watching night sky and listening to forest sounds. --- To sum it up, if you're looking for a peaceful retreat off the beaten path and for affordable price, then this place is absolute gem~ P.S. l was mesmerized by the road trip to the Kaniyu itself: mountains, rivers and lakes, a troop of monkeys on the side of the road, tunnels, a hairpin turns and so on.

挺有特色的温泉酒店。訂的房間是和室，純榻榻米，房間內沒有浴室，這點請特別注意。洗澡要去酒店單獨一棟温泉浴場，日式傳統那種，分男女，脱光沖洗乾淨才能進入温泉。體感見仁見智，日本人很喜歡，呵呵 酒店包早餐和晚餐，質量意外的高，而且每天的菜單都不同，挺驚喜的。 服務不用説，日式貼心，員工英語也還行，交流沒問題。 總而言之挺有特色的酒店，還是值得體驗一把

This was an interesting stay I was very obviously here in the absolute off season. The hotel is run in an interesting mix of can be cheap and can be high class. I didn't book with dinner included which is a mistake because during off season the surroundings were somewhat lacking no Konbini. The hotel offered microwaved food a bit pricily for the people who hadn't ordered the high class dinner option. I assume it was pretty high class because I did order the breakfast which was pretty high class. Except the coffee which wasn't. But the Onsen was great the room was good. Checkin and checkout is easily done. Amenities are good.

El hotel está a unos 10 minutos a pie de la estación Kinugawa-Onsen. Aunque hay muchos hoteles, tiendas, residencias y edificios abandonados en los alrededores, aún puedo explorar la zona gracias a las farolas encendidas por la noche. El hotel está dividido en diferentes alas y ocupa una amplia superficie. Me alojé en las plantas superiores del edificio principal (Kirakukan), pero existe la opción de alojarse en las cabañas del parque, construidas en el acantilado de la orilla con vistas al río Kinugawa. La cabaña del parque Kinugawa se encuentra un poco más alejada del edificio principal. Solo vi a una familia japonesa local de cuatro o cinco personas, escoltada por el personal del hotel hasta una de las cabañas. Salvo ese encuentro puntual, no vi a nadie más en los alrededores de la cabaña, que también es muy tranquila. Al igual que en las otras alas del hotel, es decir, Kinoyakata y Kishintei, no vi huéspedes, quizás debido a la temporada baja. Me encanta el onsen y el baño privado al aire libre, así como el desayuno y la cena kaiseiki tradicionales japoneses. También hay una tienda de recuerdos, una de ramen y aperitivos, y una piscina exterior que no pude usar porque solo está disponible en verano. Justo enfrente del hotel, se encuentra el Waterside Cafe Terrace, un supermercado 7-Eleven junto al hotel. Como no hay lavadora/secadora de autoservicio, la lavandería automática 24 horas más cercana está a unos 5 minutos a pie, detrás del Waterside Cafe Terrace y frente al ”Galarie Cafe Painto E”. El día de la salida, el hotel me ayudó a guardar el equipaje y almorcé en el ”Suzukawa Cafe”, justo al lado del Galarie Cafe Painto E. Los precios de la comida aquí son un poco más bajos que cerca de la estación Kinugawa-Onsen.

En cuanto a la ubicación, no había muchos sitios para comer cerca, así que tuvimos que caminar unos 20 minutos para comer algo por la noche. La tienda más cercana estaba a unos 10 minutos a pie, así que es mejor llevar ropa de abrigo si hace frío. El hotel tenía un ambiente muy tranquilo y la habitación era muy espaciosa para ser doble, así que pudimos relajarnos cómodamente. El baño público, amplio, también estaba muy limpio y lo disfrutamos muchísimo.

No entiendo por qué alguien dejaría una revisión negativa debido a su propia negligencia. Trip.com claramente mencionado el impuesto adicional 300-yen (Supongo que este es el impuesto sobre el arranque) por persona, pero todavía afirmaron que estaban “engañosos”. La habitación de la habitación era muy agradable, muy agradable y muy agradable. Si desea llegar fácilmente al hotel, compruebe el horario del transbordador en la página de inicio del hotel para que no tenga que caminar de la estación. La ejecutan todos los días a las 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, 15:15, 16:15, 17:15 y 18:15 desde el Hotel Classic de Nikko Station, justo al lado de la estación JR Nikko. Mi alojamiento en el Hotel City de Europa es muy cómodo. El personal es muy amable y el servicio de autobús es bueno. Si no quiere caminar de la estación, debe ver el tiempo de autobús en la página principal del hotel. Cada día, funciona desde el ”clásico hotel de la estación de sol JR” junto a la estación de sol hasta 9:00／ 9:30／ 10:00／ 15:15／ 16:15／ 17:15／ 18:15. La habitación es amplia y cómoda, y el cálido aire de la parte trasera es muy bueno. Debió haber un poco de olor en la habitación, pero creo que puede haber un olor de extirpación (como un insecticida). Después de abrir la ventana, desaparecerá. El desayuno es normal, sin publicidad tan lujosa, pero tal vez porque no es el otoño. En general, creo que es una buena opción para la familia.

La ubicación del hotel no es muy conveniente para quienes viajan en coche, pero tampoco para quienes toman el transporte público. El único tipo de habitación que reservé fue una habitación para fumadores. Cuando llegué a la habitación, había un fuerte olor a humo, lo cual era muy incómodo. La oferta de comida fue muy buena, con sorpresas. Las aguas termales y los grandes baños son buenos. Este hotel realmente necesita mejorar su calidad de higiene. Las alfombras son todas negras y las habitaciones deberían ser para no fumadores. Pero la relación precio/rendimiento es muy buena, especialmente con los descuentos de Trip.com
