En primer lugar, nada que ver con el personal, todo hermoso y muy acomodable. La habitación era agradable y limpia, pero cuando llegamos ahí la cama de arrastre no tenía cama, nos inspeccionamos alrededor 9.30pm, por lo que no era ideal cuando querían meter a las niñas en sus camas. Fui a la recepción... el teléfono se rompió. He encontrado el número de recepción de los hoteles en línea, así que llamé a la recepción, y Laura de allí vino a la habitación con camas y toallas extras e incluso ofreció hacer la cama para mí, dije que no tenía que hacerlo, pero me ayudó de todos modos, y ella era sorprendente Con nuestros 2 niños. Sin duda, una de las mejores experiencias de servicio al cliente que he tenido en un tiempo. La mañana siguiente nos dirigimos al desayuno... esto era un chamello. En primer lugar, fue una lucha para conseguir una mesa, nos acostumbramos a una pequeña sala de conferencias extraña llena de mesas sucias, nos sentamos en el único limpio. Fuimos a conseguir una silla alta para nuestro bebé... no hay silla alta. Fui a buscar comida, casi todo había salido, no jugos ni vidrios, muñecas para té y café. Manejado conseguir una pequeña placa de comida, no cuchillo para comerla con. Honestamente chocante. Laura estaba en la recepción de nuevo y vino y se puso un poco más de miedo a nuestros hijos cuando nos vio, nuestro bebé la amaba absolutamente, ella es realmente un crédito al hotel. Hablé con ella y otra chica con gafas que no recuerdo el nombre, pero también estaba sorprendente con el bebé, hace una diferencia tan grande cuando va a cualquier lugar y el personal es amable a mis hijos, siempre me hace querer volver. La segunda mañana para el desayuno tenemos una silla alta y otra vez nos colocamos en la extraña pequeña habitación, otra vez todas las mesas sucias y llenas de platos, una niña bonita llamada Anna limpió para nosotros y se disculpó por la espera de una mesa. No más mosquitos, Anna me dio uno, logró conseguir una pequeña cantidad de zumo con nuestro desayuno, hasta que se apagara otra vez. En general, es una cuestión de personal, el personal allí son sorprendente y hizo lo que podían cuando podían hacerlo, pero hay que ser más personal, es la fiesta de verano de la escuela y parecía que la sala de cena estaba funcionando en 2/3 miembros del personal.

I have just paid my third visit to this hotel which surely enjoys the most beautiful location in the stunning Derbyshire Peak District, and in recent years has survived a change of ownership. I booked 3 nights b&b in a classic room with a view. Room 2 was pleasant, a little dated, with a small but adequate bathroom, would be very cramped for double occupancy, but a lovely view if you ignore the scruffy area immediately outside the window. The staff as on previous visits were helpful, friendly and efficient but the visit was spoiled by a penny pinching policy which immediately became apparent. Full b&b price was charged for all rooms, including single for occupation, so I had paid £60 extra for 3 nights for 3 breakfasts I did not have. The dining room menu charged £20 for breakfast, plus a supplement if you wanted smoked salmon, eggs Benedict or other items, or what was described as “specialty coffees” - since when was an Americano coffee “specialty” ? When I queried the charge for the 3 breakfasts I could not possibly have eaten I was told that for those booking b&b packages management justify this by describing breakfast as complimentary - despite minimum £20 charge on the menu !! The restaurant menu also makes an additional charge for various items on the dinner menu, none of which could be described as out of the ordinary, so all in all this left a nasty taste for my friends and I. We also heard that tips added to the bill are not shared with staff, so beware. Yes, the location is stunning and the staff still efficient and friendly but recent financial policy discouraging and we will not be visiting again.

Viajado por una bicicleta caritativa. Proximidad al parque y la mezquita era clave y esta suite perfecta. El cuarto era grande. Ducha potente. Probar el ruido bueno como tuvimos un bebé con nosotros. La cama ofreció una buena calidad. El desayuno era muy bueno en la mañana y no muy caro si se compró con la reserva.

Took my mum for a spa day and we were really happy with all of the facilities (the trea**ents, hot tub, lounge area, plunge pool, sauna and steam room)! The staff were lovely and we enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea afterwards in the inn where we were catered for as vegetarians!

Turned up around 4.30pm to book in and somehow the dates changed from my original dates that I'd put in and I didn't notice when confirming,hands up my fault, The young said no problem we have a room anyway and so proceed to take me through the process of managing my dates on the website which was much appreciated so don't get me wrong, the service from the young lady was impeccable, what made my jaw hit the floor was the extra £80 I had to fork out for the same room!! Granted it my mistake but an extra £80 on top of my original £64 is unjust, that really took the wind out of my sails and affected my enjoyment of my stay unfortunately, just to be clear though the actual facilities, room and everything else I never had a problem with

El hotel es muy agradable y no puede esperar a volver al personalf brillante politer y las habitaciones que estamos hermosos y limpios y el terreno exterior es inmaculado y estoy muy ansioso por la reserva de nuevo que será muy pronto

We were in Stoke for a weekend conference and stayed at Clayhanger , mainly as it was so convenient for the Conference Centre. Kevin and his family were most hospitable and we enjoyed our stay. We had a nice quiet twin room at the back of the guesthouse (room 10) . The room was not huge but we were only there 2 nights and hadn't brought much luggage with us so no problem. Beds were comfortable and the room was warm so we slept well both nights. Continental breakfast was nice - a full cooked breakfast was not available but I had scambled egg on toast one morning and that was fine. We parked in a residential street opposite the guest house (no charge). Overall a very nice stay and if the conference is held in Stoke again next year, we will certainly book Clayhanger again

The guesthouse itself is within walking distance to Stoke-on-Trent Train Station and Staffordshire University (college road & leek road). The room and the property was very clean. The Owner Gabriel and Property Manager Joe was very helpful and made me feel safe during my stay. They accommodate long stay with discounted price. The rooms are exactly how the advertised on website (if anything better).Rooms are very big and spacious, bathroom were very clean. Rooms had aesthetic lights ( also dimmable). There were Sockets near bed and 2 work desk/ study desk and settee with coffee table. Free WiFi at the property. In short great find and will stay here again.
