POSITIVES LOBBY is wonderful, floor-to-ceiling windows on 3 sides bring a ton of natural light. High ceilings & wonderful color choices invite me to spend all day here working on my projects. I loved the lobby The ROOM is modern, and sleek & one I feel very comfortable with. BATHROOM clean & well lit-one face towel, one hand towel-cheap comes to mind. TV (as a road warrior) always ranks very high with me- TV quality & features excellent. Abitlity to access Program Schedule 1/10 Negatives BREAKFAST-a disaster-as a Diamond/Silver I received my $10 credit. If I had to pay for it myself-I would have refused. Staff attitude below zero....food undercooked. Menu choices so limited 1 out of 10. Makes me realize how I have not appreciated quality breakfasts for other hotels where breakfast is included in the room cost. Reception Service Checking in-Called the day before because APP not letling me to pre-check in. The staff member was wonderful. On arrival same quality of reception service. Checking out asked for a late checkout & was refused 2 pm HH feature & offered 1 pm. When I pointed out (on a Sunday morning hotel most probably at 30% occupancy that one more hour should be OK-was told 'That is Our Policy') Summary: the quality of the facility was truly wonderful-there is inconsistency in the delivery of service-I was exposed to both Four Seasons service twice & on the flip side one below minimum and one run of the mill. At the end of the day there is only ONE question, 'do I want to return?' One of the reasons I enjoy Hilton Garden Inn is I can count on a restaurant/bar and an evening ambiance. In this case, this hotel did not have a cafe open at weekends..which I knew-so I'd like to think the team during the week team is more prepared. I appreciate it is easy to over react to one or two experiences. I make this post in the hopes that owner/managememnt might accept this input to provide a more even experience.
