Clean and safe. A little far to get food from other restaurant. But quite compared to those nearby at the airport. Breakfast is standard.

I stayed here for two nights on a business trip. I’m a loyal Hilton guest but this was my first time staying at this particular hotel. Staff were super friendly throughout my stay and my room was large, airy and very clean, though the floor of my bathroom was a tad sticky and the lighting in the room is poor unless you turn on all the lights… I slept like a baby on both nights — it was super quiet at night (though you can hear people in their rooms as you walk down the corridors), the bed was suuuuuper comfortable and the room temperature just right! I still remain surprised at the lack of recycling efforts in guest rooms (a downfall of most Hiltons, unfortunately) and I was also surprised at the lack of toiletries provided in the bathroom (see photo).……..and the shower was in a very strange position — you had to squeeze in next to the toilet in order to open the sliding door and turn on the tap, else go fully into the shower from the other end and get wet whilst you turn it on. Very poor engineering! All this aside, my stay was overall a good one — and I’d no doubt stay here again — but there were two things that didn’t fly well with me (two things that may be fine for others!) 1. They have a VERY small gym — small especially for the size of the hotel. When I tried to use it on the first morning of my stay (around 6.15am) it was already “packed” and only one treadmill was working. I ended up leaving as there simply wasn’t any room for another person. There’s also no water or water fountain in the gym (I asked reception about where I could fill my bottle and they said they didn’t have anywhere to do this — so make sure you take a full bottle into the gym with you!), there’s no hand sanitizer, and there were no gym towels on the second morning of my stay. As someone who chooses their hotel based in part on access to a decent fitness center, this was a disappointing part of my stay. 2. There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke on the first floor — I’m very grateful I was staying on the 4th floor!

La ciudad se ha vuelto muy bien, pero no se ha vuelto muy bien.

Como resultado de la inundación de los apartamentos, mi familia y yo tuvimos que permanecer en un hotel casi tres semanas. Al principio optamos por el hotel Hua Meda porque está cerca de la casa y es barato; gracias al personal entusiasta, hemos prorrogado el tiempo de alojamiento. Tenemos muchos hoteles para elegir, pero estamos muy satisfechos con el hotel Hua Meda. ¡A pesar de que el hotel está en construcción y el WiFi es sorprendente, el servicio prestado a los clientes nunca ha sido perdido, y el personal en la “signatural” (especialmente Kerry y Matt) es tan amable, inclusivo y interesante! ¡Las dos personas duplicaron nuestros esfuerzos para hacer nuestra casa muy agradable! Estaba aquí porque estaba cerca de un matrimonio que estaban asistiendo. El cuarto era menor que los hoteles de cadena media, pero no realmente un problema para nosotros. Tenía una cama de tamaño rey en una habitación sin fumar que era realmente suave y no duro como la mayoría de los camas de hotel son normalmente. La habitación era limpia y en el primer piso que era agradable. La habitación también vino con una microondas y un refrigerador que era grande para los restos que teníamos. No hay hierro ni café, pero otra vez, no era un problema para nosotros, pero si necesitaba uno, la habitación no lo tenía. La zona de desayuno estaba cerrada a COVID que esperaba. Se sentía como si estuviéramos en una zona segura.

El hotel de Long Island es un reto y encontrar hoteles de buena calidad es aún más difícil. En este tranquilo grotón rodeado por la naturaleza al final de una distancia de Nueva Jersey y al mismo tiempo me encontré en una habitación moderna, limpia y bien equipada que no quería salir. Yo pensaba en HI Express como una especie de línea presupuestaria, pero no ésta, aunque el valor era bueno y mucho menos que el tipo que se muestra actualmente en esta página. Es el establecimiento muy lejos de la autopista en un establecimiento forestal que lo hace un hotel de destino, aunque podrían hacer más para hacer que ese espacio natural sea más prácticamente útil. El hotel está situado en una zona de pasto con sillas, bancos, un gazebo sombrío, pero mucho más espacio que se podría utilizar de esta manera. Una 10:00 conducción al sur en 347 te llevará a un montón de buenos restaurantes del centro comercial (recomendación Umbertos), pero eso es después del reto habitual de NJ de tener que conducir mil millas en una dirección para llegar a una vuelta U que le permitirá ir en el otra dirección. También, demasiado luz ambiente en la habitación de noche, en gran medida causada por una cosa del teléfono/hora que trata de emular una luz que no podía molestar completamente con uno de los gigantes, con las luces de todas las demás electrónicas en la habitación y una luz de baño (benvenida) que se refleja en contra de un espejo en el espacio del salón y de vuestros ojos (solvido cerrando completamente la puerta del baño). Dos noches aquí y estaba listo para el curso de carrera de vuelta a NJ y más al sur.
