Riads en Fez

The experience we had at another Riad set very, very high expectations, so read this with that in mind :) I've worked and stayed in luxury hotels around the world, and if you're looking for a stunning hotel, with pleasant service this would be a top choice. However overall we were looking for more of an intimate experience. Staff were very nice; they were young, friendly, kind and caring. Travelling with my mother however, it felt very uncomfortable when I was asked 'how my wife was doing?!', this summed up the disconnection between the hotel and the experience. A beautiful hotel but short of a 4/5 star experience. It is one of the most stunning Riads you will stay at. The restaurant serves great food, and the views are amazing - if you can handle the three floors of steep steps. Overall, you won't be disappointed but it felt like when we stayed there was no manager for those extra touches you expect when paying this much.

Las escaleras son más cortas, el camarote ayudará a subir el equipaje. La higiene de la habitación, especialmente el baño, es más general y la contaminación es obvia. Las camas y los calzones son muy cómodos y duermen muy bien. El desayuno parece muy rico, usted está bien, en realidad es pan, fruta, fruta de hortaliza. Los jefes de populismo y los empleados adorecen interacciones.

Прекрасный отель. Дружелюбный персонал, начиная с поддержки ещё до заселения. Тепло встретили, угостили чаем с печеньками. Тут в любой момент могут угостить чаем и это очень приятно. Персонал хорошо говорит по-английски и готов помочь с любыми вопросами. Отель новый, все красиво и при этом аутентично оформлено. Номер большой, чистый, уютный. Постель удобная, постельное белье белоснежное. В номере тихо, соседей не слышно. Отель находится в Медине, при этом на тихой улочке. Близко к достопримечательностям. Завтрак вкусный, готовят блюда для каждого гостя отдельно: свежевыжатый апельсиновый сок, омлет, кофе, оладьи, местные лепешки, кексики, йогурт и варенья. Некоторые составляющие завтрака меняют для разнообразия. Воспользовались предложением отеля - заказали ужин. Это было действительно очень вкусно и атмосферно. Таджин с ягненком и черносливом просто божественный.

Our 2 day stay was nothing short of enchanting. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, adorned with traditional Moroccan decor with modern amenities, provided a luxurious retreat after a day of exploration. The staff always attentive with insightful recommendations, made all the difference to our stay. Riad Algila truly embodies the essence of Moroccan hospitality offering a respite of calm and beauty amidst the vibrant tapestry of Fes.

BRAVO! Jamal and his family have transformed their ancestral home into a place that we (and other visitors alike) can call home in Fez. From meeting us at the main road and escorting us through the narrow lanes of the medina, to joyfully serving us breakfast each morning and a sumptuous dinner on our final evening, Jamal and family were super accommodating and friendly.

This is a hidden gem of Fes 😍 we were very well treated and the room is cosy and beautiful. The shower head needs something to hold it in place so water does not splash all around but apart from that everything else was perfect. The night receptionist was amazing to make us some breakfast bags for our early trip the next day, and he helped with a taxi and all. My friend has done the hamman and loved it. Well recommended!

Instalaciones: Las habitaciones son enormes para ser un Riad, haciendo honor a su título de suite. Las camas son cómodas y los baños son luminosos. Las zonas comunes son de primera categoría en Fesri; vale la pena visitarlas, sacar fotos y disfrutar del edificio de 700 años de antigüedad. Sin embargo, ha sido recientemente renovado, así que no se preocupe por las instalaciones anticuadas. Los muebles y demás materiales son exquisitos, incluso con incrustaciones de nácar. Durante mi estancia, en el día más caluroso, el aire acondicionado de mi habitación de lujo no funcionaba bien, así que me cambiaron a una suite familiar (las otras habitaciones estaban llenas, lo que demuestra su popularidad). Limpieza: Las habitaciones están limpias y ordenadas, cumpliendo con los estándares de un hotel de cinco estrellas, tanto en las habitaciones como en las zonas comunes y en el restaurante. Entorno: Las fotos muestran la belleza de las zonas comunes: paredes de mosaico, atrio, vegetación, sillas, etc., todo con una meticulosa artesanía. El hotel está en pleno casco antiguo, a unos 15 minutos a pie del aparcamiento. Hay muchos callejones, pero recuerda buscar los carteles de los hoteles en las paredes; no son difíciles de encontrar. Servicio: En general, el servicio fue excelente. El personal del hotel fue muy amable, el desayuno abundante y la terraza ofrecía vistas únicas del casco antiguo. Sin embargo, el personal que se encarga del equipaje no es empleado del hotel, por lo que se aplica un cargo adicional (trabajan duro para su trabajo, así que pagarles está bien; solo tienes que preguntar al hotel con antelación). En resumen, ¡muy recomendable!

Невероятный риад! Прекрасное, удобное расположение, даже если захочешь, не сможешь потеряться по пути к риаду. Уборку производили каждый день, давали очень хорошего качества косметику для душа и тела. В номере был кондиционер, поэтому холодные ночи мы провели в тепле. Удивительно красивые окна, ставни; вид на внутренний двор очень красивый. Завтрак очень большой, сытный и вкусный. Персонал очень-очень приветливый, заботливый! На все 1000% рекомендую этот риад! Спасибо Вам огромное, мы обязательно вернемся еще 🫶🏻

Great stay overall. The location is perfect, right inside the medina. The room was very clean and the air conditioning worked very well. Breakfast was rich and very tasty. The only small issue was that the hot water was a bit limited, so showers need to be quick, but the water temperature was good. What really impressed us was how kind the host was. We had to leave early on our second day and could not stay for breakfast, so he prepared a takeaway breakfast for us. It was packed very carefully and was perfect for the road. We were very touched by this kindness. Highly recommended! 位置很好，就在medina里面，房间干净，空调效果好，早餐丰富好吃。唯一的小不足是热水稍微少一点，但水温很好。 特别感谢店主，因为我们要早走，专门帮我们准备了打包早餐，非常细心和热心，让人很感动。非常推荐！

Amazing memorable experience that is worth to travelled for! Was lucky to snap up the last room on my travel dates. It was refurbished from a palace so there are alot of beauty still well kept within. There is a small pool and a rooftop dining area. Staff were hospitable and always there to help. Directions are well marked but also possible to get lost within.
