Nuestra estancia incluyó NYE, no con la intención de celebrar, sólo coincidencia, vinimos a relajarnos y a caminar por el entorno. La fecha hizo que nuestras tarifas fueran altas y de baja calidad: sin aviso (aunque recibimos múltiples mensajes previamente pidiendo que se unieran a la cena planeada) se mantuvo de sueño hasta 3AM por alto ruido de fiesta que los auriculares no podían cancelar & múltiple La habitación y la piscina fueron muy antiguas, pero más tolerables, especialmente si no hubiera sido por el precio elevado. La cama estaba bien, pero la hoja era demasiado pequeña para cubrir la matriz (un poco bruto para una cama de hotel), los teléfonos no funcionaban. No recibió información espontánea en absoluto (no hablamos/comprendemos francés) al check-in, recibió sólo una llave y se pidió nuestra tarjeta de crédito para el depósito.

Très bel hôtel. Avec parking. Les personnes (accueil, service...) était accueillantes. Notre chambre (5) au 1er étage était très très bien. Litterie très confortable. Très propre. Buffet petit déjeuner varié. Nous avons vraiment apprécié. A notre prochaine visite dans ce coin, nous y retournerons sans hésiter. Pour info: 110 euros pour la chambre double avec 2 petits déjeuners.

What a lovely hotel. The location is beautiful, right on the river below Bourscheid castle. The staff we very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. We stayed in room 132, it doesn't look directly out onto the river but you can see the castle from your window which was nice. It is next to the day spa but you are not disturbed. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom was nice but the shower is a little small. The bathroom provides nice shower wash and basic toiletries. We dined in the restaurant and the food was delicious. They provide a good selection of fresh hot & cold food for breakfast. There is a small gym and saunas in the spa area and a giant chest board outside. There is an outside terrace and comfortable seating by the river. I wish we had stayed longer. It is such a relaxing environment and you can really enjoy nature. Free parking. You can walk up to the castle if you are fit otherwise just jump in your car. A must stay

It was our second stay in this hotel. For our purpose (to visit the shopping center of Massen and Schmiede) the location is perfect. The staff at the reception addressed us in Dutch which was a nice surprise as Dutch is our mother tongue. Staff at hotel (reception, housekeeper, breakfast) was very friendly and helpful. Although it was not mentioned at check-in, we were given a comfort room instead of the standard room we booked, of course this was a pleasant surprise. The comfort room is a lot larger and specious and very nice. Beds are great and of very good quality. One of our friends who travelled with us, suffers from an allergy and he did not sleep so well because of the carpet in the room. But for us it was perfect. There is a free bottle of water in the room and a machine with drinks you can purchase (soft drinks) in the hall and also a microwave and plates you can use are at disposal in the hall. The coffee was with powder and a water boiler, we prefer a small coffee machine with pads or so in the room as that quality of coffee is better. We had a terrace but due to the bad weather we could not enjoy it. Bathroom was spacious with a very good shower. One point of remark: the product in the shower was same for hands, hair and body. We never use the same product to wash our hair or our body so we don't like this (but I brought my own products from home). Breakfast is excellent with a large choice of all products (including smoked salmon). The breakfast room is not very big and can get very noisy and busy at rush moments. Also at the coffee machine there might be some delay. Only remark here: the floor of the breakfast room was ”sticky” so maybe it needs some extra cleaning. As for parking space, there is a big shopping center next to the hotel so parking can be very full and sometimes you need to search for a spare parking space and walk a little further with your luggage (not comfortable with the weather we had). Towards the evening I put the car closer by as it was standing at the end of the parking space at first. We enjoyed our stay here again and will definitely be back.

This hotel is a dud. When we arrived, the receptionist thrust papers at us without any hint of a smile. We were an irritant to her. Our room was noisy and when we tried to change notwithstanding it was a Monday night and the hotel really didn’t feel full at all, she said there weren’t any rooms. The corridor to our room was dark and gloomy. Our room’s bathroom had a broken toilet seat. At breakfast, the choices weren’t great.No cereal or muesli. Thank goodness we didn’t have dinner here last night as it looked very gloomy so we walked to Hotel De La Sure where we had a lovely dinner on the terrace. Next time we come here, we will stay there as it had a lovely vibe and felt welcoming.
