A Truly Exceptional Stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto Our family had a wonderful experience at The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto, and we left with nothing but gratitude and happy memories. From the moment we arrived, the service was flawless and heartfelt — the kind of genuine hospitality that makes a trip feel truly special. A huge thank you to Cecilia and Vinnie from the Guest Experience team, who went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and comfortable. Their warmth, attentiveness, and thoughtful gestures made us feel incredibly welcomed. A very special shout-out to Cecilia, who noticed my daughter’s love for Winnie the Pooh after our visit to Disneyland Resort. She prepared a beautiful card, a sweet message, and even a handmade Pooh origami and placed it in our room. It absolutely made our daughter’s day — such a thoughtful touch we will never forget. We also want to commend Yuki from the restaurant team for his warm and wonderful breakfast service each morning. His kindness and attention to detail set the perfect tone to start our day. The Ritz Kids adventure passport was a delightful surprise — engaging not only for our daughter but also enjoyable for us as parents. And of course, we loved the festive Christmas atmosphere, especially the beautiful Christmas tree and the amazing gingerbread house with the incredible aroma that filled the lobby. The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto truly exceeded our expectations in every way. We felt cared for, welcomed, and genuinely appreciated. We can’t wait to return again. Highly recommended for families and anyone seeking an unforgettable Kyoto stay.

We took a taxi to this location because it was a little too far by bus, and we had all of our luggage with us. The location is beautiful. If you're only staying for one night like we did, then you should check in at the earliest (3:00 pm) so you can explore the local area. There are some really nice shrines nearby. We were only able to do this after breakfast the next morning. We also had to be out by 10:00 am, which surprised us because it was listed as 11:00 am on Trip.com. You will be served traditional Japanese cuisine for dinner and breakfast. They do an excellent job of presenting all of the dishes, and the service is also incredible. But if you're not used to eating raw fish, or traditional Japanese cuisine in general, you should definitely bring your own snacks to eat in your room! We stayed in the Garden view room with tatami mats. The staff will actually rearrange the room for you during dinner and set up your beds if you select this room. That was a very nice touch, so make sure you don't leave your room a total mess before dinner! I have added a picture of the beds after they were set up. The garden view was well worth the money we spent for it. Very relaxing and beautiful. And surprisingly enough...the tatami beds were super comfortable and warm!

My stay at The Hotel Seiryu Kyoto exceeded expectations – the service and location are worth every penny. Staff were incredibly friendly and professional. They knew my name before I reached the front desk, helped with luggage instantly, and greeted me personally every time I entered/left. Truly thoughtful! Perfect Lounge: Loved the lounge! By day: Excellent Japanese teas (try the ice hojicha with milk!), delicious pastries, and stunning views – ideal for escaping the heat. By night: Free quality cocktails and tasty snacks (salmon/shrimp) in a peaceful, spacious setting. Great Amenities: Rooftop Bar: Breathtaking views with a relaxed vibe. Gym: Modern & well-equipped (even has a rowing machine!). Garden: Beautifully serene – made me want to linger. Unbeatable Location: -3-minute walk to Kiyomizu-dera & Sannenzaka (go at 6:30 AM for crowd-free magic!). - 3 bus stops to Kamogawa River & shopping districts. Delicious Breakfast: Lots of options – the Japanese style bento is a must-try! Fresh, flavorful, and generous with fruits/veggies. Will 100% return. Perfect for a relaxed, luxurious Kyoto getaway!

El hotel está cerca del río Kamo y muy próximo a la calle principal Shijo, con muchísimas opciones de restaurantes en los alrededores. Los grandes almacenes Takashimaya, Daimaru e Isetan no quedan lejos. Personalmente, me encanta el ambiente general del hotel: es sencillo, elegante y con un toque vintage. Hay un Blue Bottle en la planta baja, y enfrente, la cola de Le Labo nunca cesa. El centro comercial BAL, al lado, también es genial para pasear. Lo único que me pareció es que el espacio de la habitación no es lo suficientemente amplio, aunque, por supuesto, es mejor que la mayoría de las habitaciones de hotel en Japón. Llevábamos dos maletas de 28 pulgadas y, al abrirlas completamente, me pareció un poco apretado. En la tercera planta del hotel hay un lounge. Si te quedas sin agua durante la semana, puedes ir a buscarla tú mismo. También hay bebidas, agua con gas y café disponibles 24 horas de forma gratuita. De 14:00 a 22:00, ofrecen pequeños aperitivos, vino tinto, vino blanco y hielo. No reservamos el desayuno del hotel, pero he oído que es muy bueno. Además, sentarse en la octava planta con vistas al río Kamo y al paisaje urbano seguro que mejora la experiencia gastronómica. Si tuviera un presupuesto mayor, elegiría una habitación más espaciosa; en todos los demás aspectos, estoy muy satisfecho.

Servicio: Fantastico! El personal es muy útil y amable, gracias! Ofrecemos bebidas y desserts bienvenidos. El personal incluso ayudó a traer nuestros equipajes a la habitación. Instalaciones: Muy bien! Muy tranquilo y privado. Todo en la habitación es complimentar :) ¡Habitación: Todo es genial! ¡El timbre en la habitación es agradable! Para mejorar: tener más ganchos/espacio para colgar ropa será aún mejor. La cama es demasiado blanda para nuestros deseos. No hemos usado la silla en el área de ducha también.

La habitación estaba limpia y, en comparación con los hoteles japoneses normales, era mucho más espaciosa. El desayuno ofrecía opciones occidentales y japonesas, lo que era una gran ventaja. La ubicación del hotel también es excelente, a solo dos calles de Shijo Kawaramachi. Es un hotel genial y mi primera opción cuando visito Kioto, algo que he hecho varias veces en los últimos dos años.

丁寧にチェックインとアウトを案内頂いた。 滞在中も挨拶して頂くなどホスピタリティを感じました。1点気になった点として、バーにも伺ったのですが、最初お持ち頂いたメニューがワインメニューのみで少し困惑しました。こちらが確認しないとフードとカクテルメニューを持ってきて頂けなかったので、気を付けて頂けますと幸いです。

Además, tengo que salvarme porque hay una placa de sabón para bebés y lavado de rostro. No tenía camas, así que empecé un par de botas y lo puse al lado de la cama. No tengo separación en mi habitación, así que tuve que ir a la recepción, es una deficiencia, pero ２４ la recepción tiene un servicio de bebida por hora, así que me fui a buscar. Creo que te dije lo que quería preguntar! ２４ Hora de servicio de bebidas incluye café, cocina de hierro, cacao, etc! ¡Tengo mucho agua mineral de la caña de PET, un total de tres niños, ¡por lo que tengo que salvar! El desayuno está disponible en el café debajo del hotel. Y un plato infantil, los niños son felices.

El hotel ha sido inaugurado recientemente y tiene un diseño muy elegante. Continúa con los elementos de madera consistentes del Banyan Tree para brindar a las personas una sensación fresca y natural. Lo que más me gusta es el baño privado de madera de la habitación. Elogie el spa de aguas termales. El hotel ofrece cenas y desayunos exquisitos. Caminar por el pequeño jardín del hotel temprano en la mañana y contemplar el denso bosque de bambú es muy curativo. El servicio del personal es cálido y atento, educado y meticuloso, al nivel del techo.

La ubicación está al otro lado de las dos ciudades, el camino es hacia ella, muy conveniente. Kyoto no es grande, muy guapo, el hotel va a las atracciones en general es bueno. La recepción, el gestor de salones están en buenas condiciones, el inglés está muy en línea, muy internacionalizado, especialmente contratado por un hermano pequeño europeo y estadounidense, y la comunicación es muy comunicativa. Las instalaciones de la habitación son buenas, y el desayuno es bueno, especialmente la máquina fresca y interesante.
