5 Stars – Exceptional Stay at Meixi Lake Hotel We had a fantastic stay at Meixi Lake Hotel, A Luxury Collection, in Changsha. Our Grand Deluxe Suite on a high floor was spacious, beautifully designed, and featured sweeping views of Meixi Lake — even from the shower and bathtub, which was a unique and luxurious touch. Watching TV from the bathtub was an unexpected delight. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable, making for a restful and relaxing stay. The second-floor Chinese restaurant served excellent cuisine, and Manager Alice provided outstanding service that truly enhanced our dining experience. We also appreciated the warm hospitality of Manager Evan He, who not only recommended a superb local restaurant but also made the reservation for us — the food there was outstanding. We enjoyed a peaceful walk around the lake, visited the nearby Meixihu Cultural Art Center, and made use of the hotel’s well-equipped fitness center and relaxing sauna. Highly recommended for both comfort and service — a true luxury experience in Changsha.

We stayed at this hotel during a family trip. There were seven of us, and we booked three rooms. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Before our arrival, they kindly helped us receive and store parcels. I also contacted them several times on WeChat before the trip for assistance and inquiries, and they were always responsive and accommodating. We checked in very late at night, but the front desk staff were still patient and welcoming, without any sign of inconvenience. The lady who prepared breakfast was also very kind. One of our family members is vegetarian, and she was flexible enough to adjust the noodle soup so that the vegetarian guest could enjoy breakfast as well, which we really appreciated. The scenery around the hotel is beautiful. The only minor downside is that the hotel is a bit far from the nearest metro station, but aside from that, everything was very convenient. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and if we have the chance to come back, we would definitely consider staying here again.

From the moment I arrived, the architectural charm stood out: sleek, modern white buildings nestled against a lush forest backdrop, with rustic stone retaining walls adding a warm, earthy contrast. The interiors are just as thoughtfully designed—cozy lounge areas feature a crackling wood-burning stove that invites you to kick back and unwind (I spent hours with my feet up by the fire, sipping tea, and forgetting the outside world). The outdoor spaces are equally delightful: sun-dappled patios with soft flooring, where my spaniel wandered by (a sweet, unexpected touch!), and gravel paths that lead to sweeping views of the wooded hills. Every corner feels intentional, balancing minimalist design with the raw beauty of the surrounding nature. What truly makes this place special is the tranquility. It’s quiet enough to hear the rustle of leaves and birdsong, yet the amenities are comfortable and well-appointed—no roughing it here. The staff (though I didn’t interact much, thanks to the seclusion) seemed attentive, and the little touches (like the firewood stacked neatly by the stove) made the stay feel personal and cared for. If I had to nitpick, it’s that the remote location means you’ll need a car to explore nearby spots—but that’s part of the appeal for a true escape. Rating: 5/5 This hotel isn’t just a place to sleep; it’s a chance to slow down, breathe, and soak in nature’s beauty. I’ll definitely be coming back.

We just had a fantastic family vacation celebrating my wife’s birthday in Changsha, and staying at the Oryard Hotel Changsha Juzhou was a wonderful decision. We checked in on May 22, 2026, and checked out on May 25, 2026. I can easily provide 5+ star comments without hesitation. The hotel is very new and has a grand and clean overall impression. The river view from the hotel is magnificent. All the facilities are advanced. The room is spacious, and I love the modern Chinese style design. What really impressed me was the service? Both the front desk and the restaurant staff can provide proactive services. For example, I had a little cough during my breakfast, and the restaurant manager provided me with some food and drink that could comfort my coughing. All the restaurant staff were well-trained and offered excellent service during our breakfast time. The butler service was amazing too, which made my wife’s birthday celebration memorable. My wife and daughter were extremely impressed. Also, the gym and swimming pool were clean and comfortable. Finally, this is the first time I’ve enjoyed writing comments after my hotel stay. I was extremely happy to recognize the team at the Oryard Hotel Changsha Juzhou. I believe the leadership and management of the hotel have spent tremendous efforts in training, as this level of service is difficult to achieve. We are also thinking of visiting Zhangjiajie during the winter holidays. We will obviously stay at the Oryard Hotel Changsha and are looking forward to coming back.

La habitación estaba decorada con mucho gusto, con una iluminación cálida y ropa de cama suave y cómoda, que garantizaba un buen descanso. La vista al río desde la ventana era impresionante, con panorámicas espectaculares, ¡perfectas para sacar fotos! El gimnasio y la piscina del hotel eran nuevos y excelentes. Pero lo que más me impresionó fue el servicio: ¡la recepcionista fue excepcional! Desde su sonrisa al llegar hasta su cordial saludo al marcharme, cada momento me hizo sentir valorada. El servicio fue como una lluvia suave, reconfortante sin apenas notarse. El desayuno era increíblemente variado, con opciones chinas y occidentales, además de una amplia gama de especialidades locales de Changsha, todas deliciosas. En definitiva, esta estancia superó todas mis expectativas, ¡y sin duda volveré a elegir este hotel la próxima vez que visite Changsha!

La habitación habitada en una habitación ordinaria es la mayor de la temporada, con un área de vestir independiente, un área de oficina que tres personas pueden sentarse, una televisión grande, tranquila y nueva y muy cómoda. ¡Una estancia muy satisfactoria y encantadora! Mi marido, yo y nuestros dos hijos hicimos un viaje de última hora a Changsha y elegimos la habitación familiar con temática de astronautas del Hotel Langham Place Changsha. La habitación era muy espaciosa, con una pequeña tienda de campaña para los niños, una mesa de juegos para construir juguetes y una cama doble de 2 metros y una cama de 1,3 metros para un niño: suficiente espacio para cuatro personas con comodidad. Nos alojamos tres días y el desayuno buffet fue excelente; los niños comieron de maravilla. ¡El servicio del hotel también fue excepcional! Respondieron con rapidez a todas nuestras necesidades. Compramos un paquete que incluía Ocean World, el Parque Acuático, el Mundo de Hielo y Nieve y el Circo, y lo disfrutamos todo. Llegar al centro en taxi también fue muy práctico; ningún sitio era demasiado lejos. Encontrar un hotel familiar como este en el centro es raro y caro, así que este hotel ofreció la mejor relación calidad-precio en general. Se lo recomendaría a mis amigos que visiten Changsha, ¡y sin duda lo elegiré de nuevo la próxima vez!

Location of hotel was excellent. Close to airport and if you have a few hours to fill you can walk to the Bailian Outlet Shopping in 5 mins. Free shuttle to airport and self service laundry facilities were very convenient. Will stay here again if I ever need to be near airport to c at h a flight.

The lush greenery and serene atmosphere were perfect for unwinding. My parents are elderly, and the free transfer cart service was incredibly handy! A special shout-out to receptionist,leyi, Shi xia, Xiao Dong and everyone who took great care of us, explaining how to get around Changsha and ensuring we had everything we needed. The kindness and attentiveness made our trip so much smoother. All our requests were promptly cared for and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We also visited the Chairman Mao Museum which was free and explained in great detail such an insightful and memorable experience! And let’s not forget the food—delicious and cheap!We enjoyed every meal, from local street snacks tofu to restaurant dishes, all bursting with flavor at unbeatable. highly recommended for families, especially those with elderly members. Thank you for such a fantastic stay!
