Staying at this hotel in Zermatt was an unforgettable experience! The location is perfect—just 500 meters from the train station, making it incredibly convenient. The highlight of my stay was the warm hospitality from the owners, Thor and Michele. They personally served the buffet breakfast every morning, which was both delicious and thoughtfully prepared. On my first day, I unfortunately missed breakfast, but as I was heading out around 10:45 am, they surprised me by reserving some food for me to enjoy before leaving. It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture that truly made me feel cared for. The room itself was immaculate and had everything I needed. The balcony offered a stunning mountain view, which was a perfect way to start and end each day. Thor and Michele went above and beyond to make me feel like a VIP throughout my stay. They remembered my name, attended to every need, and even took the time to explain the local attractions and recommend food options based on my preferences. I feel incredibly lucky to have secured two nights at this gem of a hotel, especially since it’s almost always fully booked. This was one of the most personal and heartwarming stays I’ve ever had. If you’re visiting Zermatt, staying here is an absolute must. Thank you, Thor and Michele, for making my trip so memorable!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The excellent service rendered by the staff made our honeymoon much sweeter. Everyone was friendly, kind and always willing to help. Room was really nice and the extra sauna and open concept bathtub was a nice surprise! Breakfast spread was super delicious as well. Facilities like the wellness area include foot bath, infrared chairs, jacuzzi etc.

It is an excellent experiences, exceeding out expectation! Will stay in the hotel if we visit Zermatt again.

We stayed at Hotel Butterfly for three nights during our visit to Zermatt. Overall, the experience was average and there are several areas that could be improved. The rooms were acceptable but not as clean as expected, and the bedsheets had an unpleasant smell. Amenities were very basic only towels and an all-in-one soap were provided. Items such as slippers, moisturiser, and other standard amenities were not available, and there was no fridge in the room. Drinking water was only provided on the first day, although guests can refill water at the ground floor, which we appreciated. Breakfast was below expectations, and the service could be improved. We were not informed that eggs could be ordered until we noticed them being served to another table on our last day. Additionally, items like butter ran out and were not replenished promptly. We hope the hotel will take this feedback constructively and make improvements, as Zermatt is a beautiful destination and guests would benefit from a more comfortable and attentive stay.

El hotel es un hotel con una ubicación ideal para los parejas que buscan romance y relajación. La habitación era agradable pero con fecha, con vistas al Matterhorn a la derecha de nuestro balcón, absolutamente mágica al levantarse y al amanecer. La ubicación era perfecta, sólo un paseo a pie al centro del pueblo y ascensores, pero tranquilo para las noches tranquilas. Recomendamos este hotel para parejas que buscan encanto, confort y maravilloso bella alpina. Psst: menos la zona opuesta de tierra con ruido constante por la mañana debido a la construcción, será mejor.

First of all, location is nice. And the owner and team are really nice. Politely and passionate. Of course facilities is good, weather 'doubtless' to be nice. All good and clean. They have even provide me a nicer view

Single room was small, as expected, but very clean and comfortable, and a great shower! A tiny balcony with a spectacular view! Very friendly and helpful staff! Breakfast was the only meal I had, and it was very good!

Four of us stayed for one night in two rooms at Alpenblick Superior during our trip to Switzerland. The location is about a 10-minute walk from the train station. Our room had a beautiful view of the Matterhorn, and it was very clean and peaceful, as it's not located near the main street. Do note that you'll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste.
