We booked this hotel through Expedia. When we got there, the room that we booked was not available, even though we booked it a week in advance, and the website confirmed the reservation. When we entered into the room provided for us, we saw it was one bed and a small couch, which was not what we had reserved. When we went back to the front desk to ask for our reserved room, there was already another guest yelling at the man, demanding a receipt for the charges for the room that she did not receive. We explained the situation about the incorrect room to the man at the front desk, but he explained that the room was not available. We explained that we needed this room because we were a family staying together, but he (his name was Julian and he represented himself as the supervisor) refused. Because we overheard the other guest yelling at the other man at the front desk, we asked Julian to print the receipt confirming that they did not have the room. He provided us with one, and when we said that we did not want to stay because this was not the room we booked, he advised us to have Expedia call the hotel to refund us for our hotel charges. They assured us that we would not be charged. We never stayed in the hotel or any of the rooms, but they charged us for the nights. We had Expedia reach out to them, but they refused to refund any of the charges, saying it was ”nonrefundable,” even though they did not uphold their end of the contract. Expedia said they reached to their manager, a woman named Lisa, who again, repeated that it was nonrefundable and refused to assist them. Expedia sent them an email, explaining the situation, but they again, refused. They never apologized or tried to make it right. While there, we also saw another guest complaining that he kept receiving the wrong set of keys for his room, and so, could not enter the room. This was all within the span of 30 minutes. I have stayed in multiple hotels all over the country and this is by far, the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Maité & Simon were perfect hosts! They were always available for any and all of my questions and took care of our little family so well. From everything to an early check-in/late check-out so our babies could nap, to providing us with a highchair and playpen, it was so perfect! We had come specifically to Montreal to take our daughter to the Biodome and this location was just minutes walk away. Once in the room, they had a binder full of helpful recommendations and tips (the Oeuferie for breakfast was fabulous). We were even able to secure free on street parking but do watch out as Montreal street signage is tricky!

Great owner operated small hotel. Marc is very genial and helpful. Room tidy and clean. Like access to kitchen area for tea in the morning. Marché Maisonneuve is close by and has delicious croissants, cheese, groceries. Circuit Électrique has easy to use DC fast chargers right at the market -awesome!

La experiencia en el Hotel Montreal fue absolutamente horrible. ¿La respuesta del personal del hotel es lo que quieres que haga que las tarjetas sean sensibles? En el check-in me fue dado el número de habitación incorrecto porque fue escrito incorrectamente, entonces llegó a la habitación para encontrar las camas no vienen con hojas montadas así que usted básicamente dormir en una hoja y luego la madrastra que pensé que era inhigiénico así que yo ¿El hotel de la ciudad de San Francisco es el hotel más guapo que he estado en el centro de la ciudad? Tengo fotos que la mayoría de las hojas de cama y hojas de cocina tienen una especie de tinta en ellas. Las puertas de entrada automáticas no siempre funcionan, por lo que debes abrirlas para no mencionar cuando el hotel tiene festas que basicamente no duermes porque puedes oír todo el movimiento. La primera noche tuvo una alarma que nunca se reinició y toda mi familia se despertó a las 12:00.
