I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel. The hotel is modern, clean, and comfortable, with a great breakfast and friendly staff. The location is perfect, close to the marina. I enjoyed the pool, the spa, and the bike rental service. The hotel also arranged a tour for me to see the nearby tourist sites. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Melaka.

Localización es la mejor de las calles de jonker cerca, el servicio es muy bueno y atento especialmente el desayuno, era ala carta y delicioso. Hotel con estilo babanyonya. La habitación es muy antigua, la televisión antigua, no hay socket junto a la cama, secador de pelo pequeño, manejo de puertas no sensibles. Con el precio que pagamos podríamos conseguir una mejor calidad de las instalaciones a, gimnasio y piscina estrecha. Sin embargo, TQ a todos en el hotel, son muy amables y acomodantes

This is a very new hotel which started their business in March 2023. Wanted to try on the first day of opening but due to some reason, it was delayed till now. It’s a first Marriott hotel in Melaka, so I do have very high expectations from them. As a Marriott platinum elite member, I’ve stayed in many hotel under Marriott organisation. Upon reaching the hotel with grab car, the staff came up to me immediately and lead me to the check in counter, the lobby are huge, and I can still smell that the hotel are still so new. Not much of the guest in the lobby area, it’s a Monday so I guess it’s normal. No suite room upgrade and no complimentary breakfast for a platinum member, although I was upgraded to a strait view room which I appreciated it. It can see a tiny bit of the sea. Apart from that, I guess the room size and amenity are the same. The check in staff told me that the suite room was full… I mean.. it’s a Monday.. and I literally still can see the suite room was available in the Bonvoy app. As I’ve mentioned, I’ve been to many hotel under Marriott organisation. I don’t always get upgraded to a suite room, but it was okay, I do understand all these are subjected to individual hotel policy and it’s all a good will. But I guess the staff could just tell me that the hotel are still new, the suite room are limited and it’s reserved for paying guest. I would totally understand that. But I don’t think it’s wise to you know, use a default replied as member like us, we check on the app. For me, if there’s no available suite room, I wouldn’t even ask for an upgrade. Secondly, there’s no complimentary breakfast, I paid RM70 for the 2 day breakfast. I’ve stayed in a few courtyard hotel, this was the first one that I’ve paid for breakfast, there might be other courtyard that don’t provide complimentary breakfast for guest with elite status, maybe I didn’t stay much enough to see it all. I’ve stayed with hotel that told me that their facility actually don’t offer complimentary breakfast for elite member, but they will just give it to me as a good will on top of my welcome gift. Just a little suggestion, like maybe let the counter staff to decide, if they could slip in some complimentary breakfast to guest with elite status or even guest that potentially come back again. I’m not complaining here, just some of my suggestions. The room are new, nice and spacious, very clean. Nice TV channel selection, view was great. Bed are firm to the level that I like, they offer pillow menu as well. Had very good sleep for the 2 night. Breakfast was very basic. There’s a very annoying flies flying around my table.. how did it come into the hotel, lol. Gym are small but there should be everything you need. The infinity pool are great! Very good view and very Instagrammable. Please visit the pool when you are here. The staff and friendly and nice. Would come back again to the hotel when I’m back in Melaka.

El hotel está cerca del río Malaca y muy cerca de la calle Jonker, el centro cultural Zheng He, Holland Square y la iglesia de San Pablo. El vestíbulo del hotel es espacioso y luminoso, con grandes sofás y sillas en los que resulta cómodo sent****. Se requiere un depósito para el check-in y se reembolsará a la salida. Reservé una habitación doble superior y me dieron la habitación 223, donde podía subir en ascensor. Pasas tu tarjeta para ingresar a la habitación. Es muy espaciosa y cuenta con internet inalámbrico, aire acondicionado y un televisor montado en la pared. El baño tiene agua caliente las 24 horas del día y ducha. También hay un perchero en la habitación donde puedes colgar mucha ropa y sombreros. El personal de recepción fue muy educado y muy satisfecho con la hospitalidad.

This hotel is in a fantastic location for exploring Melakka, just around the corner from the Jonker Walk market. It is sparkling clean and the staff were very attentive and helpful, we were greeted with a cup of sweet iced tea and a cold flannel (which was lovely). We were offered complimentary breakfast at a nearby hotel but we didn't take up the offer as we weren't wanting breakfast. We had a basic room which is on the small size (they advertise the size of the rooms), it needs to be noted however that the bed was nice and big a smaller bed would make the room seem bigger but I'd choose the bed anyday! The street outside Gingerflower is busy and there is no pavement so care is needed when stepping out but it's a good street with a lovely craft store opposite and Calanthe art cafe just along the road where good coffee is served and another craft store is available with craft workshops

Es un hotel antiguo. Conseguí una habitación para que mi hijo y yo nos quedáramos del 31 de marzo al 1 de abril. El televisor no funcionaba completamente ya que algunos canales no tenían audio, retrasaban el audio y no tenían imagen, mientras que había 4 luces que no funcionaban. Aparte de eso, el personal durante el sahur me sirvió carne a pesar de que solicité cambiarla por cereal o cualquier otro menú, pero dijo que no estaba disponible. Tuve una reacción alérgica leve debido a que comí un poco de salsa porque no había otra opción excepto el arroz simple, ya que pagué RM 14 por él. Para mi sorpresa, durante el desayuno, el desayuno inglés y los cereales estaban disponibles para su pedido.

La habitación es muy espaciosa y limpia. Tenemos el rey deluxe. La habitación de baño y ducha está separada. Wifi está bien. Situado a 10 minutos a pie del Mall de Dataran Pahlawan, la Iglesia de Cristo y la calle Jonker. La recepción sólo a las 10:00, luego a la seguridad, y tuvimos suerte de llegar a las 10:00 justo antes de que el personal de recepción regresara. El hotel está muy bien situado, pero el hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy bien situado. El hotel tiene un espacio común cerca del lobby, así que puede comer el ur de la calle y también ofrece agua caliente y fría cerca del espacio común. Es muy agradable que lo tengan. En realidad, disfruta.

This was an okay hotel, but did have a little bit of a mosquito problem which was surprising because I was on the second or third floor of the building. The bathroom was also missing a toilet seat for the toilet, which was unusual. Otherwise it was an okay place to stay.

This is my fifth trip to Melaka, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As usual, I decided to stay near Jonker Street, the Chinatown of Melaka. This time, I had chosen Quayside Hotel as I wanted to experience a stay near the river. Upon alighting at Melaka Sentral Bus Station, I took Panorama Bus No. 17 at its Domestic Bus Terminal. It costs RM2 per person. The journey took about 20mins and I alighted outside Stadhuys, which is a short 5mins walk to Quayside Hotel. I had booked a Premier Queen Room for a two nights stay and was accommodated in Room No. 204. The room has a balcony which offers a view of the Melaka River. During the morning, it is relaxing to sit at the balcony and enjoy the tranquilness of the river and its surroundings. By night, the riverside is good for crowd-watching. It can get lively and a little noisy as it is just a stone’s throw away from the Melaka River Cruise Jetty. The room measures 21 square metres and Is comfortable for two guests. On the other hand, the bathroom is a little small whereby there is no partition separating the shower area and the wash basin. Hence, the bathroom floor gets wet each time after a shower. Even after switching on the water heater switch, the shower is lukewarm. The hotel provides the basic room amenities such as dental kit, shower gel, shampoo, shower cap, hand soap, hair dryer, electric kettle, mini fridge, coffee, tea and drinking water. There is no electronic safe. I had no major issues with the Wi-Fi network during my stay here, though it is a little weak at the balcony area. TV entertainment is limited to selective cable channels such as CNBC, Cinemax & Boomerang (Cartoon network). The room has poor sound insulation. Kids running and the dragging of chair in the neighbouring room can cause some disturbance. So it depends entirely on who your neighbours are. However, I understand that this hotel is housed at the site of an old customs warehouse. As the hotel is of an industrial warehouse theme, the design and build of the rooms do not offer good soundproof walls. This hotel has been operating since 2013 and I believed there has been no major refurbishment. The room condition needs to be better maintained and I would recommend the management to consider renovating the property. Whilst the room is not perfect, the stay experience was elevated by the friendly Front Desk Staff. The Housekeeping Staff also cleaned the room well. My room comes with hotel breakfast service. It is located on the ground floor and starts from 8.30am to 10.30am. I am pleasantly surprised at its offerings which although simple, is rather delicious. The menu comprises of rice (Nasi lemak or fried rice), noodles or bee hoon, eggs, hotdogs, curry puffs, cakes and hot beverages like coffee and tea. Other than the breakfast area, there are no facilities in this hotel. The main advantage of staying at Quayside Hotel is its prime location. Let's get to the point: this place is straight up strange but has so much potential. You open the door and are welcome into what looks like a coffee and smells like cat. There is no comfortable space to sit and chat with others, instead you sit at tables. Si caminas por aquí antes de las 9:00, encontrarás el personal que duerme en la recepción o en las sofás.
