El hotel esta muy cerca de todo, su ubicación es inmejorable. Es de estilo sobrio pero muy elegante, su hall es espacioso cin unas escaleras monumental dando al primer piso donde se encuentran las salas de conferencias. Los desayunos de buffet libre son muy buenos y la verdad la boyeria es excelente. Las habitaciones son espaciosas con una mesa, un gran televisor multimedia, minibar, cafetera, calentador de agua y vaja de seguridad. La cama son de gran tamaño (king-size) con un colchón no partido. El cuarti de aseo tiene ducho con modo lluvia, es delicioso. Me encanta este hotel. 🥰🥰🥰

Apartamento hermoso - generoso, elegante, limpio y muy amable, servicio atento. Excelente ubicación - el centro de la ciudad, restaurantes, bares, están a pie muy bien accesibles. Al mismo tiempo super tranquilo y hermoso vista al jardín. Lindas fotos, arte, libros. Aplicación propia para visitar y refrigerador bien lleno. Nos encanta volver cuando volvamos a Leipzig.

This place is a joke. First, try to find it. Signage is less than minimal. Hopefully, you can figure it out with others who already have or who are also searching for the place. Next, take a nondescript elevator to the 6th floor. If you come after the sun goes down, note that the lobby with the elevator is quick dark, very poorly lit. Get off the 6th floor and turn right. If you come at check in time, be prepared for the line of over a dozen others waiting to check in. They will not check in anyone before three. Nope. Won’t do it. After a half hour, we were directed to our room on the third floor, right above the intersection. Great view from a large window facing the university and Old Town directly to the west, but ah, these are the two big problems. First, the noise of trams, trucks, and then every ambulance in the city must be required to pass through this intersection! Second, summer heat makes the room an oven. One window will open a bit, maybe 10 cm, but don’t get your hopes up for much natural air. We figured the noise would eventually die down, but it didn’t, especially ambulances on a Saturday night. So eventually we closed the window and curtains. That helped contain the noise but then the heat hit us. We failed to find much sleep in our sweat. Ah, but the air conditioner! Try as we might, we failed to get the A/C to work, nor any fan for ventilation! About daylight, we finally slept, only to miss our planned Bach Festival event that morning. Groggily, we tried to get to the reception desk to discuss this issue, but, mind you, the elevator up to the reception does not stop at the third floor. Only down. So this senior citizen had to take the first of four climbs up those stairs to reception on the 6th floor. I asked for a refund for the second scheduled night. It was refused. “We can’t do that. Only Expedia can. You need to call them.” Also, “You can’t get air conditioning in your room because there is none. Hotels in Germany don’t have air conditioning.” And portable fans are not provided either apparently. I called Expedia. They said that, of course, the hotel can refund the payment for the night. Expedia called the hotel. Then spoke with me I returned up the four flights of steps to get my refund. Nope. They refused to refund. But they did provide another room that did not face the street. Ok. We took it. They even provided a bottle of wine, and we slept well that second night. The next morning at check out, the manager asked why we hadn’t turned on the air conditioning…and of course, Germany has air conditioning. And no, the hotel would not be able to refund an unused night as requested. We loved Leipzig! But beware of this joke of a place.

Pasamos un fin de semana en Leipzig para una visita de concierto y nos sentíamos bien en la villa. No hay personal en el fin de semana. Es decir, servicio de autoservicio. Lo que más perturba es el comportamiento agresivo de algunos policías. En la parte superior del consulado americano. La entrada de la villa antes de la guardia. El equipamiento de los habitaciones está elevado y era apropiado para el precio. Son espaciosas y no sobrecargadas. Nos gustan las ventanas de altos cuartos, las cómodas sesiones de cuero que se encuentran en una pequeña mesa de vidrio elegante, nos han gustado nuestro té de desayuno cocinado y nuestro vino auto-incorporado. El baño también tenía un equipamiento compatible con el precio. La única cosa que el arquitecto interior había olvidado es que también necesita luz del lado para rasgar. Desde el punto de vista de la arquitectura, el edificio no es moderno, sino normal, y nos hemos gustado la estancia en su conjunto, pero la villa no se reservaría de nuevo.

My stay at the Westin Leipzig was okay. They did a half-renovation, but it leaves the hotel feeling dated still. What do I mean? I used Marriott Suite Night Awards to upgrade to the Executive Suite. For some strange reason they did not renovate the foyer area of the room, which had some ugly granite that contrasted starkly with the nicely renovated bedroom, bathroom and separate living area. None of the door hardware was updated, so they’re brass while bathroom hardware is chrome. There was a random frame in the foyer with nothing in the frame. They replaced the carpet in the hallways, but the wall treatment looked like someone wiped their greasy hands all over - likely something that was a trendy look in the 90s. The fitness/spa area is in serious need of an updated, felt like a warp back in time to the 70s. Lines were long at check-in even with the front desk fully staffed, seems like their was a conference so that is understandable. However, the agent assisting the Elite line that I was in just walked away with saying anything, so we had to merge with another line and wait even longer. There was no in-room coffee at a 4-star hotel and my first morning I went down to the breakfast area to get a coffee to-go. One bottle of 4.5€ water available in the room - I got two free bottles when I stayed at the Moxy in Dresden. Bed was quite firm and was two twin mattresses pushed together. Bed at the the Moxy was way more comfortable. Blackout curtains didn’t overlap, so woke up every morning at 5am as soon as the sun came up. It looked like the rug in the living area hadn’t been vacuumed as you could see shoe prints all over from the previous guest. There’s a nice Bose stereo in the room but the wireless remote had a dead battery rendering the stereo useless. The neighboring room obviously has an option to be adjoining but the door provided minimal soundproofing and your neighbors might as well have been in the same room. Breakfast was standard fare, nothing to be excited about. The first morning no one stopped by to ask for my room number so I just left. As a Bonvoy Elite member you do have the option to get a free drink in the bar, the guy at the bar was easily the friendliest staff member I encountered.

El servicio es estupendo, muy, muy bueno. Todo está limpio y cómodo. En el pasillo, a veces escuchas las voces de otras personas, pero no puedes escuchar ningún sonido que creo que sea bueno en los vecinos de la habitación. Puede cambiar las toallas según sea necesario y también puede utilizar un secador de pelo. No creo que el colchón sea muy cómodo, pero creo que no es un problema por algunas noches. Simplemente genial. ¡Me encantaría volver!

El hotel está muy bien situado a una pequeña distancia hasta el zoológico de Leipzig y el centro de la ciudad comienza directamente frente a la entrada principal. Las habitaciones del centro de la ciudad estaban prácticamente equipadas y muy tranquilas, pudimos dormir en ventanas abiertas el fin de semana! El hotel de lavandería está situado en el cuarto y la celda húmeda está compuesta de ducha (con ducha de lluvia!) y baño. Recuerde los antiguos cuartos de extraterrestres de antes, lavabos en el cuarto y todo lo demás compartidos. Desafortunadamente, sólo se llega a la habitación por sillas de paseo, esto puede llevar algo en el buen alojamiento. El personal fue muy amable, siempre que se renuncia a la limpieza del cuarto hay un recibo de bebida para el bar. Es también genial que haya manzanas, té, café y croissants de la mañana, deberían tomar más hoteles.

Muy buen departamento, aunque la habitación no es grande, pero está limpia y ordenada, las instalaciones son muy completas y es muy cómodo de usar. El entorno que lo rodea es muy bueno, muy cerca de la estación de tren de Leipzig y de la iglesia de Bach, lo elegiré la próxima vez que vaya.

Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer, habe aber die Vorzüge des Hostels sehr genossen - gut ausgestattete Küche mit Kühlschrank, alles sehr durchdacht, junge, urbane Atmosphäre, Lounge und Raucherbalkon haben tolle Aufenthaltsqualität und die Einrichtung ist insgesamt äußerst geschmackvoll und wertig, bis hin zum Bad. Mein Zimmer wäre nichts für Lärmempfindliche gewesen, aber da gibt es sicher noch andere. Die Lage könnte besser nicht sein, quasi am Markt, fußläufig zum Hauptbahhof, Supermarkt und Bäcker um die Ecke. Ich komme sicher wieder!

Lindas habitaciones con equipamiento sencillo pero grande y limpio. Desayuno minimalista pero suficiente para el precio. Hay poco para hacer. La televisión debería conectarse a Internet por lo tanto sólo 2 canales porque la conexión no ha funcionado. Muy alto en la casa, ya que albergue juvenil. La obligación de mascar no se aplica, eso nos ha perturbado enormemente.

Estos meses estoy en Leipzig para trabajar. Las habitaciones son confortables y bien equipadas, prescinde a armario para ganar en espacio y comodidad y aunque no tenga minibar (pequeña nevera) no se le echa de menos por su ubicación en la ciudad. La localización es estupenda, muy central y facil de llegar tanto en tren como en coche, su parking es muy grande. Los desayunos son excelentes y variados. Lo mas importante, el personal de servicio es muy amable y dispuesta en ayudar en todo lo que necesitas. Me ha gustado mucho este hotel.

El apartamento de nuestro estudio era un poco más pequeño de lo que esperaba, pero estaba muy bien arreglado, y dio una interesante vista al histórico muro de Wende por la calle. El bufete de desayuno fue impresionante y nos dio al principio de la ciudad: el centro de Leipzig es compacto, arquitectónico y lleno de vida.
