This very sad hotel stuck in the 90’s was very disappointing . The hotel staff were friendly, but one couldn’t tell the staff from guests apart, because they didn’t wear a uniform or have name badges on. The room was very dark. Dark old rug, very dark wooden closets that were way to large for the room. That dark furniture had seen better days and the bed wasn’t comfortable. The bathroom a nightmare. The shower was old and dingy, black spots of mold between the grout. The soap dispenser was over 1 meter away from the sink. Very nerve racking. The breakfast buffet was somewhat disappointing. There was almost everything available, but the long lines at the 1 coffee maker wasn’t an ideal situation. After 1 week , I was happy to leave.

Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer, habe aber die Vorzüge des Hostels sehr genossen - gut ausgestattete Küche mit Kühlschrank, alles sehr durchdacht, junge, urbane Atmosphäre, Lounge und Raucherbalkon haben tolle Aufenthaltsqualität und die Einrichtung ist insgesamt äußerst geschmackvoll und wertig, bis hin zum Bad. Mein Zimmer wäre nichts für Lärmempfindliche gewesen, aber da gibt es sicher noch andere. Die Lage könnte besser nicht sein, quasi am Markt, fußläufig zum Hauptbahhof, Supermarkt und Bäcker um die Ecke. Ich komme sicher wieder!

This place is a joke. First, try to find it. Signage is less than minimal. Hopefully, you can figure it out with others who already have or who are also searching for the place. Next, take a nondescript elevator to the 6th floor. If you come after the sun goes down, note that the lobby with the elevator is quick dark, very poorly lit. Get off the 6th floor and turn right. If you come at check in time, be prepared for the line of over a dozen others waiting to check in. They will not check in anyone before three. Nope. Won’t do it. After a half hour, we were directed to our room on the third floor, right above the intersection. Great view from a large window facing the university and Old Town directly to the west, but ah, these are the two big problems. First, the noise of trams, trucks, and then every ambulance in the city must be required to pass through this intersection! Second, summer heat makes the room an oven. One window will open a bit, maybe 10 cm, but don’t get your hopes up for much natural air. We figured the noise would eventually die down, but it didn’t, especially ambulances on a Saturday night. So eventually we closed the window and curtains. That helped contain the noise but then the heat hit us. We failed to find much sleep in our sweat. Ah, but the air conditioner! Try as we might, we failed to get the A/C to work, nor any fan for ventilation! About daylight, we finally slept, only to miss our planned Bach Festival event that morning. Groggily, we tried to get to the reception desk to discuss this issue, but, mind you, the elevator up to the reception does not stop at the third floor. Only down. So this senior citizen had to take the first of four climbs up those stairs to reception on the 6th floor. I asked for a refund for the second scheduled night. It was refused. “We can’t do that. Only Expedia can. You need to call them.” Also, “You can’t get air conditioning in your room because there is none. Hotels in Germany don’t have air conditioning.” And portable fans are not provided either apparently. I called Expedia. They said that, of course, the hotel can refund the payment for the night. Expedia called the hotel. Then spoke with me I returned up the four flights of steps to get my refund. Nope. They refused to refund. But they did provide another room that did not face the street. Ok. We took it. They even provided a bottle of wine, and we slept well that second night. The next morning at check out, the manager asked why we hadn’t turned on the air conditioning…and of course, Germany has air conditioning. And no, the hotel would not be able to refund an unused night as requested. We loved Leipzig! But beware of this joke of a place.

La habitación era muy buena, pero la última vez que estuve allí, me había actualizado a una habitación excepcional, me quedaba un miembro de oro, pero no se había actualizado esta vez, incluso si se dice así en los términos de Bonvoi. Aquí hay habitaciones disponibles en el momento de la entrada, extraño :/ No tan bien servido personal de este hotel como he experimentado antes. La experiencia más desapontada fue el restaurante del hotel, algo malo con mi comida y lo devolví, Después de pedir la factura dos veces y tener que esperar casi veinte minutos para ella donde todavía me pagan por esta comida que volví, Y cuando intentamos contactar con el enfermero principal, era más interesante estar en el teléfono que estar disponible para su huésped, lo sacamos con la recepción la mañana siguiente, pero esto es lo que destruyó nuestra experiencia con este hotel, La primera vez que se ha llegado a la ciudad, el hotel se ha convertido en un hotel de 3 estrellas.

El hotel es muy limpio, tiene habitaciones muy grandes y una buena opción para el desayuno, excelente. El apartamento de nuestro estudio era un poco más pequeño de lo que esperaba, pero estaba muy bien arreglado, y dio una interesante vista al histórico muro de Wende por la calle. El bufete de desayuno fue impresionante y nos dio al principio de la ciudad: el centro de Leipzig es compacto, arquitectónico y lleno de vida.

Recata a Lipsia nel Luglio 2016, con un viaggio di gruppo organizzato dall' Agenzia ”Abaco Viaggi”. Siamo arrivati in ritardo causa un spiacevole disguido e una grossa bugia da parte dell' accompagnatrice di gruppo al titolare dell'hotel. Era meglio la cruda verità e l'ammissione da parte dell'assistente della propria incompetenza.. Nonostante tutto, il titolare è stato cordiale, a mio parere troppo, così come la famiglia e la guida della città. Ho avuto cena tedesca (come poche) e varia, camera spaziosa e fresca. Colazione superlativa. Se tornassi, sceglierei di nuovo questo hotel. Arrivederci dal Friuli Venezia Giulia. Lucia Floreani

Estos meses estoy en Leipzig para trabajar. Las habitaciones son confortables y bien equipadas, prescinde a armario para ganar en espacio y comodidad y aunque no tenga minibar (pequeña nevera) no se le echa de menos por su ubicación en la ciudad. La localización es estupenda, muy central y facil de llegar tanto en tren como en coche, su parking es muy grande. Los desayunos son excelentes y variados. Lo mas importante, el personal de servicio es muy amable y dispuesta en ayudar en todo lo que necesitas. Me ha gustado mucho este hotel.

Stayed 1 night with family. Accommodation fitted our needs perfect, nice clean room 3 with beds, very helpful and friendly personel. Breakfast was very good. For the low budget price they offert a full blown hotel experience. Hotel is easily accessibel from the highway. Thank you staf!

La ubicación es excelente, cerca de la estación de ferrocarril y el centro de la ciudad. No hay nada que necesites por una o dos noches, pero el estilo y el mobiliario son realmente ”spartánicos” y definitivamente horrible! Si puedes resistir, debe considerarse como un alojamiento muy asequible en la ciudad de Leipzig. Las habitaciones son muy simples en el mueble, pero las camas están bien (aunque bastante pequeñas), bien limpias y hay incluso AC! El desayuno es barato y con una selección sorprendente grande. Muy bueno! Si sólo necesitas un lugar para dormir durante unas noches, este hotel es sin duda una opción!
