Hoteles de 3 estrellas en Pulau Redang

”Sari Pacifica” a brand that USED TO instill so much confidence and standard in the past, has now succeeded TREMENDOUSLY into throwing my expectations into the mud. My 4 days 3 nights stay with my friends and family during the end of March 2022 has made us questioned, whether this is truly the ”Sari Pacifica” we used to know, or did we accidentally checked into a BOGUS hotel in Redang? Mind you, we stayed at the apparently the best option it has to offer, the SEA VIEW Villa. The only FACTOR that allows this ”resort” to have a 2-star rating from me is PURELY AND ONLY because of the friendliness of their staff members, who despite limited in their capacity, tried their best to help us in overcoming the shortcomings of the ”resort”. Upon arrival at Pulau Redang, while other hotel operators have provided staffs to wait and help their guests to carry their baggage into the truck, we were standing BLUR on where we should be going for a while. The 1 and ONLY 1 staff who was waiting for the 20 of us, was only able to help us carry 1 or MAXIMUM 2 rounds of our baggage with his 2 hands. We could only watch with ENVY, the guests of other hotel operators, as me and my wife carried our 1 year old girl under the hot island weather, for no less than 30 minutes, while the staff sent the first 10 of my friends to the resort and then came back for the rest of us. If the definition of a Villa is that of its size. Then KUDOS to ”Sari Pacifica” for indeed, the Sea View Villa is huge in its size. But my friends and family as Guests... did not appreciate such a BIG, yet Sandy floor, stained blankets and bed sheets. The en-suite toilet is HUGE with a bathtub that we did not dare to use. I agree though, the view from the Villa is as good as it gets in Pulau Redang. The aircond in my first villa was not working well, and I managed to shift to another room the next night. The food, while I truly did not expect much, having stayed in Redang a few times over a few different resorts, and YET it fell far below my ALREADY low expectation. The first night, we were served grilled BBQ without lights and fans at our tables. Can you imagine? After feedback, the next day onward we were given permanent table position under a WORKING CEILING Fan. There were only 2 or 3 in the entire eating area. You have to feel bad for people who were not so fortunate. A special credit for the F&B manager who tried to make up as best as he could to us, and prepared a steamboat dinner for us on the last night. Overall: Staff: 5 Stars Cleanliness: 2 Stars Value: 0 Star. We paid RM1200 per person for 4 days 3 nights for those staying at Sea View Villa. You can judge for yourself if based on what we have experienced the good and the bad, whether it was value for money. Recommendation: Food: Pelangi resort has good western food in my opinion. Cleanliness: Coral Redang, Pelangi Resort, Redang Beach, Laguna Redang. Value: Anywhere but Sari Pacifica Redang

Tuve una agradable estancia de una noche aquí. El personal fue muy servicial y me ayudó a explicar cómo llegar a la isla desde Marina Duyong y también pude comprar mi boleto de regreso en la recepción, lo cual fue útil. Además, me permitieron pagar todas las comidas mediante transferencia en línea, lo cual agradecí ya que no había traído efectivo. El viaje desde y hacia el resort hasta el embarcadero estaba disponible por RM20 extra. La comida era buena: tenía huevos revueltos, panqueques, arroz frito chino y nasi goreng ayam. La habitación tenía todo lo que necesitaba y estaba limpia. Había una playa pública a unos 10-15 minutos a pie del complejo y era muy tranquila pero impresionante. Tuve un poco de mala suerte con el clima ya que llovió más o menos todo el tiempo que estuve allí excepto en la mañana que me fui donde logré tomar algunas fotos.

Redang Island Resort fue uno de los primeros en Redang y tiene una gran vista sobre la colina que contempla el puerto principal / puerto. Aunque no directamente en la playa, ofrece viajes de la mañana (10am a 1) y una transferencia de noche a la playa larga para las opciones de cena (6-10pm), ambos de los cuales deben ser tomadas, ya que el espectáculo de Redang es su vibe de la playa y de la snorkel. La cena en RIR no era grande con un pez y chips sin cocinar (también faltaba el limone que se notó en el menú porque no había ningún stock), mientras que el hamburguesa de carne no era grande. El mantenimiento es claramente un problema en curso con la habitación que tiene problemas con su agua caliente y ducha mientras que la piscina no era apropiada para nadar (a pesar de la serpiente que vimos ambas mañanas por los salónes!). En el lado más positivo, las transferencias fueron bien gestionadas mientras que el personal estaba dispuesto a ayudar, aunque condicionado por lo que podrían hacer en realidad Las habitaciones en el lado del mar son significativamente mejor que el lado del bosque dadas vistas y luz. La calificación es una media generosa (3 estrellas) pero merece mejor que la pobre (2 estrellas)

良かった点：客室は広く眺めも良かった。食事は、味付けの好みはあろうが、マレーシアで長年暮らしている私にとってもベストに近いと感じる品質のローカルフードが楽しめた。ホテルスタッフも一生懸命サービスしようとしている感じが伝わってきて、好印象。ホテルの前の海も透明度が良く、散在する岩場ではシュノーケリングでたくさんの魚をまあまあクリアに見ることができた（掲示した魚の写真はホテル前の海で撮ったもの）。貸出用のシュノーケリングゴーグルには、少しレンタル料は高いが度付きのものもあり、近眼の者への配慮があった。 好みによる点：賑やかな感じが好きなら良い選択肢になるホテルだ。静かな大人のリゾートを期待しているなら、他を探した方が良い。客室の壁や天井は十分に厚くはなく、隣室の客のいびきが聞こえてくるレベル（三ツ星ホテルであることを思い出す必要がある）。また巨大なホテルなので、マレーシア国内で集められたパックツアーと思しき団体客が次々に送り込まれてきて、騒がしい。フロントで受付を担当しているスタッフの対応は良いが、キャンプ場の受付かなにかのような感じ。客室のバルコニーは素敵で眺めも良いが、どこからともなく漂ってくるたばこの匂いが気になり長居できなかった。さらにマレーシア流のリゾートサービスなのかもしれないが、夜は23時過ぎまで大音量のイベントが開催され、非常ににぎやかだ。レストランは席をかなり詰めて配置していて、食べている最中も他の客や従業員が椅子にぶつかって通過していく。ブッフェで食べ物を取る際も、他の客が横入りしたり、ゴツゴツとぶつかってきたり、などのマナーが目立つ。 その他：シュノーケリングのツアーで連れていかれるのは午前中がマリンパーク、午後がそのすぐ横の海上で、いずれもあまり広くはない。そこにかなりの数の参加者が居るので何度も他の客にぶつかられた。水の透明度はまあまあで、サンゴを見ることができる点がホテル前の海との違い。本格的なシュノーケリングを楽しみたいなら他のツアーを探した方が良さそうだ。

Amazing. Highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely go back at some point and can’t wait. It was heaven on earth. The views, the beach the sea are worth every Penny. Absolutely amazing. But the staff are wonderful. So friendly, helpful and kind. Everyone of them. The rooms are brilliant. Nice and fresh and clean, Amazing size. Great design a vibe to the whole place.
