Mitsis Family Village

Had a week in the Family Village and the service and place was amazing! Only bad point was our bed was a little on the hard side! But the staff was great and always friendly and helpful! Jimmy the mini bar service guy always came round topped you up what you need and was friendly and had a little chat! Made you feel welcome.. We will definitely come back and visit again

The personal staff is very good, the rooms are very clean, the sanitary annexes are also very clean. The food was also very good , delicious and tasty. For the end, everything was very satisfying, wonderful, super and brilliant. No words…..

The hotel is set on a hill and there are steps everywhere. The pool area is lovely but again accessed by steps. My daughter has 14Month old twins so had to carry a double buggy up and down steps . The hotel staff are very friendly with the exception of one waiter in the dining room who is extremely rude . Food is ok.. pretty much standard all inclusive type buffet. Anyone with mobility issues should avoid staying here as there are no lifts

Im not one for leaving reviews but this hotel deserves one. We have just returned from the Mitsis Family Village hotel and WOW!! Its amazing we had a swim up pool room with beautiful seaview, the food was amazing so much choice and something for everyone even for fussy eaters like me and my two kids. There was different entertainment everynight bu the pool and a childrens mini disco. The staff are all lovely and very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel we loved it and will return one day.

My wife and I had a nice stay at this hotel. It is more of a 3* experience overall. In terms of food, lack of indoor space within the hotel (the emphasis is on outdoor only; not much use in some of the wetter and very windy hours / days!). The staff were generally lovely, the vast majority always eager to help and personable. A special word of praise for Giannis (hopefully spelt correctly) who was SO helpful and his sense of humour was appreciated 🤗 One highlight of the hotel is that each room has it's own access to a pool (2nd floor residents use a ladder, which was fine for those able. The beach isn't that much of a walk, but free hotel transport is regularly available, with plenty of free sunbeds😎

Firstly, I want to say that my family and I love Mitsis hotels and stay at Mitsis resorts every time we are in Greece and have never had a problem. Even with our most recent trip to family village we loved the food and the service from a few key individuals including the lovely Crepe lady and gentleman and also Aspacina who is always smiling! Shout out to all the lovely staff who made our trip enjoyable :) On the other hand, I would like to warn you about the main bar staff especially Dimitris and the lad that works beside him. They were utterly disrespectful and quite literally don't suit the Mitsis vibe! Mitsis is key on hospitality but these gentleman have let them down. Just because we don't understand what they are saying most of the time does not mean they should be mimicking and making fun of guests. Other than these 2 individuals, we loved our stay but had to give a poor review as we were heavily let down by their service.

We have just come home from a fantastic week away with two children. having stayed with mitsis previously, we had high expectations of the hotel and it certainly delivered. check in was smooth and we were driven to our room by the most friendly of drivers, he was brilliant with the kids after a long trip. they even give all the kids a gift on arrival. rooms were clean and tidy everyday. one of our children has a severe peanut allergy so the executive chef and restaurant manager met us on the first morning to discuss what my daughter likes & dislikes so he could accommodate her for the week-even cooking her favourites which weren't on the buffet menu. the chef is an absolute credit to the hotel and should be recognised for his hard work. food was great standard and the kids spent numerous occasions wandering to the ice cream station to come back with different treats each time. reception staff were brilliant and very knowledgeable, nothing could be too much trouble for them. the evening entertainment was brilliant and the bar tenders were very attentive, never do you have to even go to the bar should you so wish. coming to the end of the holiday, I even phoned our travel agent asking to extend our holiday to no avail 😞 such a shame we couldn't stay any longer. kos town and kardamena are short bus journeys away which are from just outside the hotel, great days out if you're looking to explore some of the island. the lifeguard on duty was extremely funny and creates a good atmosphere round the pool. on our last day I spotted the hotel manager walk through the hotel to which I assumed all the staff would be on egg shells, then watched him have an arm wrestle with a bar tender and having some fun. nice to see the staff so relaxed and treated well! would definitely recommend this hotel to stay and we are already planning to return. yes it's at the top of the hill and some people don't like that they have to walk, but there is plenty of golf buggies driving around which will get you about the complex should you wish. beautiful hotel, amazing staff, great food & drink with a nice cold pool for those hot summer days. see you again!

I am here right now may/june 2024. Please after check in, check your room closely. On the second night a lot of mosquitos come of nowhere, probably from closet or from furniture and bite my 3 year old son. He have dozen bites on face, hands and legs. About hotel and facilities - it's not bad but what i don't like is menu in QR code.

There was nothing to complain about at the mitsis family village. The room was great, albeit at the top of a very steep hill which we found quite challenging, that said, the view was stunning and our neighbours were mountain goats! There was a pool up there which we made use of. Food wise, well, you can’t go hungry with the restaurant having plenty of choice, when restaurant was closed there was a lady making crepes of your choice sweet or savoury and ice cream with every flavour under the sun. The beach is down another big hill but there is a buggy that takes you down and brings you back up. Runs all day and is kept beautifully clean. The beach has a Pizza Hut (not the franchise as we know it.) literally a hut with pizza oven and pizza is served all day as you request it. Also a snack bar and 2 bars. Loos are kept beautifully clean down on the beach. The beach is stoney but the sea is easy enough to get in and out of. Back in the hotel, there was entertainment on every night, some better than others but all fairly enjoyable. The staff are on hand to take your drinks orders and deliver them back to you. We had a late flight so after we vacated room, we enjoyed some time by the main pool and were able to book a shower before we left. The shower room had everything we needed including towels, toiletries, hair dryer so we left feeling clean and fresh. We would definitely go back but it would depend on having a room nearer the main hotel as that hill almost got the better of us as an older couple.
