"Booked a standard graden room, turned out to be a catastrophe: fridge in the mini bar humming so loud one could barely sleep, road directly in front of the room with loud vehicles passing and uncomfortable bed) - slept less than 4hours first night. Then were given the option to move to another standard room which did not have a loud road but for whatever reason had same issue with the fridge. After complaining again were upgraded to better room which was nice (bed nevertheless not comfortable). Lost 2 out of 4 nights to terrible rooms. Overall cannot recommend hotel. If you want to stay make sure only to book higher categories - standard room is absolutely not acceptable - a shame for a supposedly 5* hotel. Other negative aspects: breakfast only okish, food and the restaurant very very mediocre at truly elevated prices & outrageous wine pricing (60€ retail wine sold for 370€..) with no decent drinkable cheaper wines On the positive sides: very nice beach, good service at the beach, nice/cool interior design."

"This is an amazing hotel - huge complex so it only felt busy at meal times in tge main restaurant. We had a room with a private pool and we loved it. Cold, but it was just what we needed. Fridge in the room was restocked daily and our housekeeper was fantastic. Food was a bit hit or miss in my opinion. Some nights were really good, spoilt for choice, then others we struggled to fill our plates. The desserts were heavenly! For us the let down was the service staff (bar and restaurant) apart from 2 or 3 of them, they were rude, dismissive and just generally made you feel like you werent welcome. We went at the end of the season (still paid a lot of money) and things started to close down midway through our week - some of the snack bars, which was an inconvience as our room was far away from the other facilities. All in all, i would return just maybe not at the end of the season. "

"A week long honeymoon with the wife that was eight years late but worth the wait. Our stay at Koia was everything we hoped it would be. (for ref we stayed in suite 403). The room had a fantastic sea view that was truly a perfect way to start the day. Pleasing room design, comfortable bed, space to unwind both inside the suite and outside next to out little pool made it a a really enjoyable place to be. We spent half of our holiday sunning ourselves in in private, it was that nice. The long breakfast window (7-11am) meant we could actually unwinding and relax and catch up on sleep without worrying about missing breakfast (A BIG DEAL TO ME). No kids, no dog, no routine, waking up after a good night's sleep after 9am was a real luxury. Unhurried mornings are rare. A week of this alone made me VERY happy. Food (we were half board) was fantastic. Breakfast was great quality no matter what we chose. Bread was fresh, yoghurts were amazing, cheeses and meats were hard to resist. Impossible to fault. The only tiny thing I would suggest is changing the breakfast tea offering from Lipton to something a little more robust. @Koia - please consider this, might even save you some money, Lipton is not good). The atmosphere in the dining room was also very good. Very relaxed, exceptional service for all the staff, perfect background music. Faultless. Food from the Bar. As we were half board we didn't really eat much during the day (TBH after a decent breakfast I was not looking to eat much more until later in the evening) but we did order sandwiches a few time. Both orders were delicious. Evening Meals. The Chef and all his kitchen staff did a great job of delivering some really great, individual and memorable meals. 4 courses was almost too much! We also ate off the set menu and ordered Steaks 2 nights - Fillet and Ribeye - my Ribeye was one of the best I've had in recent memory. The staff. Awesome. Hopefully you guys hear the feedback. I don't think I've enjoyed being in a hotel/resort as much as being at Koia. All of the staff were polite, helpful friendly and above all, genuine. Really nice people. Nic, Alex, thank you and thanks to the wider team. Staff can make or break a holiday. You guys made it. (big thanks from me and Cassandra). Spa. I didn't do the spa side of the resort but the wife indulged. Her thoughts on her first massage were 'that was the best massage I have ever head, period.' - She is one for Spa's and coming from her I was quite surprised. A woman who has travelled extensively for work and pleasure, who has spent a lot of time and money in spas around the world rated the massage in Koia as the best she's ever had. No idea who the lady masseuse was but well done!!! Overall, I can't fault our break at Koia. I wish the whole team the very best and hope that they continue to make it a great place to spend time, unwind and relax. 10/10"

Hay un servicio regular de transporte desde y hacia el pueblo. Solo necesitas que tu teléfono funcione para llamar al conductor cuando estés listo para volver al hotel y para indicarle dónde recogerte. Nos alojamos en dos habitaciones en la segunda planta. Un alojamiento muy espacioso con un balcón enorme en la parte delantera del hotel y vistas al mar y a la piscina."

"Drove along the mountain road in Kefalos village to visit a Property we were thinking of staying at in September for our Wedding , a small little track opens out to a spectacular view of Kefalos bay and Kastri Island and before we even reach our destination we find Terratorre not quite finished but wow an amazing looking renovated building with a gorgeous Tower and infinity pool with views to die for small perfectly perched atop the mountain and inspired by the family that own it ..I haven't stayed yet but we contacted and booked immediately.. why ? We visit Kefalos 3 times a year and stay in the utmost luxury because like most we work hard to enjoy our breaks .but this place is a Gem that shines bright in the 5 star market and we think we are good judges of character and Katerina and family have the Jewel in the Crown xxxx"

"From the moment we arrived I fell in love with this beautiful hotel. Staff are hard working, efficient and friendly. We had a wonderful double swim up room, clean, well furnished and very comfortable. We had half board which meant we had breakfast and evening meal. At both sittings there was so much choice, everything well presented and so delicious. There is a large pool with loads of sun beds and you can collect soft clean towels from the spa, there is a pool bar and a snack bar, the private sandy beach is only a few steps away with sun beds and parasols. The attention to detail around this hotel is stunning, it has tasteful decor, surrounding area and furniture. If you want the perfect chill out, relaxed adults only hotel look no further, honestly one of the best I have stayed in. Thank you to all the staff for looking after us."
