Tbh, tuve malas experiencias con mi habitación 942.Solo imaginé la puerta corrediza del baño, necesito empujarla con fuerza para abrirla / cerrarla.La secadora de pelo no funciona. lo que es más importante, el agua gotea del techo ... llamaron a la recepción, enviaron mantenimiento ... el goteo se detuvo solo por unas horas ... alrededor de las 2/3 am todavía ocurre ... no puedo dormir ... no quiero molestar a la recepción ... espere hasta mañana ... llamé de nuevo ... enviaron mantenimiento y arreglarán otra habitación para nosotros ... esperar hasta el mediodía ... no hay noticias sobre la nueva habitación ... tuve que bajar y esperar a que me siguieran ... de alguna manera me siento como el gerente de el hotel ... segundo viaje a este hotel ... esta vez muy desagradable ... oh sí, la alfombra está muy empapada ...

Esta es la segunda vez que me alojo allí. El precio es razonable, está muy limpio y cuando entramos, la habitación está lista, prepara el aire acondicionado para nosotros, para que no tengamos que esperar hasta que la habitación se enfríe. Y algunos más, no puedo creerlo, su secador de pelo se actualizó a secador de pelo Dyson, oh Dios mío. Parece un hotel muy lujoso, así que puedo experimentarlo, quienes no han probado el secador de pelo Dyson. El baño está limpio. Todo era perfecto. Volveré a reservar.

Estancia de una noche antes de dirigirse a Penang. Nos registramos tarde alrededor de las 10 pm. Una vez que ingresa, la habitación está limpia y cuenta con desayuno para 2 personas. Comida agradable y similar al menú limitado del hotel 5⭐️. Por supuesto que es lo que pagaste, no los compares desde ese lado. En general muy satisfecho y definitivamente será mi opción si paso por Ipoh.

Paloh was a malay & orang asli (“native”) kampung (“village”) that has been around from at least the 18th century. Apparently the names comes from the founder of the village itself Toh Paloh. Paloh, or palung, also means a depression in the ground that holds water, or a fishing hole to catch fish. It is believed that Paloh was also a boat dock in the past. Some other views hold that the Hakka were the founders of Paloh, and only later came the Cantonese. According to this theory, the origin of the name is a symbolic reference to the dams that were constructed along the Kinta River for fishing purposes. These dams were referred to as “Pa-Lo” in the Cantonese dialect and eventually the area became known as Paloh. Paloh today has of course become the heart of the city of Ipoh. In this old part of the city pre-war Shop Houses line the streets, with a predominantly Chinese character. “Sarang” is a malay word meaning nest, hence “Sarang Paloh” means “The Nest in Paloh”, evoking the image of the hotel as a place of rest for the weary traveller. Located on Jalan Sultan Iskandar (formerly Hugh Low Street), Sarang Paloh is located in pre-war two storey shop houses that originally were the premises of a Goldsmith and a Bank more than 90 years ago. The façade of one of the buildings still has the name of the Goldsmiths on its façade in English, Chinese and Malay (jawi script), with the stately bank building still has the name of Overseas-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited on its front. Across the road, Sarang Paloh has another shophouse of which the ground floor has been converted into a carpark. If you have a car, this is where you would park. Parking is complimentary, but you must exercise caution, turning right into the shophouse entrance as Jalan Sultan Iskandar is a pretty high traffic road, and the building inside is quite narrow, with the cars having to be parked bumper to bumper, in two rows. Exit is out through the back of the shophouse into a back lane. Do bear in mind that if the shophouse is full of cars, you may get boxed in by other parked cars and not able to exit! Fortunately this did not happen to us while we stayed here. Getting to the hotel means having to cross the busy road again on foot, with your luggage, from the car to the hotel. The main reception area was in the former Goldsmith’s building, and the entire front of the shop house is dedicated to the reception. To get in the front door, you will need your access card, or the staff inside will have to let you in, if you have yet to check in. The central part of shop house is a courtyard with a spiral staircase going upstairs to the 2nd floor, and in the back is a sort of pantry area with dining table. Staircase at the back also leads upwards. We had booked a room at the back of the shophouse on the 2nd floor, as we were aware of reviews that rooms in front may have some street noise. El hotel ofrece diversas comodidades como piscina, gimnasio, spa y varias opciones gastronómicas. Me gusta su piscina de sirena, muy linda, pero hacía mucho viento y frío. El hotel está situado a orillas del río Kinta y ofrece hermosas vistas del río y de la ciudad, especialmente durante la noche. Sólo necesita caminar hasta el puente y disfrutar del ambiente sereno y pacífico que puede resultar relajante y refrescante. Hay un restaurante japonés al lado del hotel donde podrá disfrutar de un buffet libre, y hay bastantes restaurantes en los alrededores. El servicio fue excelente, el check in y el check out fueron rápidos. El personal es muy amable y atento. Aunque es un hotel bastante antiguo, está bien mantenido y cuenta con todas las necesidades básicas.

La habitación doble estándar que teníamos era muy pequeña con poco espacio en el piso para nuestros bolsillos. No hay guardarroba, sólo 3 colchones pendientes sobre un contador. No hay tractores, sólo 2 tablas laterales. No hay nevera, pero hay una caja fuerte. No hay instalaciones para hacer café, pero nos dieron 2 botellas de agua potable cada día y hay un distribuidor de agua cerca del ascensor para que rellenemos nuestras botellas que fue muy apreciado. La habitación era limpia y se veía muy nueva. Nos gusta que el estacionamiento privado siempre esté disponible en el sótano con una guardia de seguridad (aunque estaba ausente de su puesto la mayor parte del tiempo!) ¡El ascensor está disponible en el sótano para acceder al lobby y a los pisos superiores - sólo podíamos acceder a nuestro piso Utilizando nuestra tarjeta de acceso a la habitación - buena seguridad. Unos restaurantes y restaurantes cerca. Buena para un corto estadía.

Secador de pelo, ventilador y aire acondicionado. Hay una tapa para la ventana que bloquea la luz para dormir. Hallway tiene filtro de agua, caldera, plancha de hierro y baño de estancia. Algunas habitaciones aquí son habitaciones. Hay una señal delante del hotel para caminar, pagar 3 noches y obtener 4 noches gratis. Bicicletas para alquiler y bebidas vendidas en el lobby. Este hotel está en la nueva ciudad. Hay algunas opciones de comida en la antigua ciudad en las calles alrededor de la pista de concubina. Si estás aquí en un martes, probar el mercado nocturno llamado pasar malam taman Ipoh timur - gran mercado nocturno. Aproximadamente 10 ringgit grab ride. Hay una puerta adyacente Tesco con WiFi gratuita si no tienes datos, para pedir un grab de vuelta. Why glorify these dark alleys which look like the neighborhood where Jack the Ripper lurk for his next victim? The ”hotel” is supposed to be ”designer hotel”. It's a prison. Period. Full of hazardous corners and dangerous pits. Pool was so heavily chlorinated that the water stung. Door handle came off, stupid latch on the outside of the room, multiple key card systems that could potentially kill if a fire breaks. I almost got stuck in the common bathroom because the latch refused to budge when I wanted to get out. Sink at the common area was greasy. The reception was almost impossible to find. Do not take your elderly family members or small children to this hotel. I booked it coz I had no choice at such a short notice. Not worth the money either. Seriously, MPI should re-inspect that place and take back the accommodation license. Look at the ”barrier” from the rooftop pool to the ground below. No banister. It's lower than my knee if I stand next to it. One wrong move, you'd plummet down. Steps made out of metal grating. No safety yellow stickers to differentiate the levels. Totally NOT safe! Never again!

El hotel tiene una estancia muy media. El precio era un poco alto por lo que estaba disponible.
