UUsuario invitadoreally amazing service especially the onsen the adult food. rooms are a little outdated. It did catch us off guard as it was about 1000 USD for two nights for the 3 kids and their meals were like pasta and fries. I am not sure we would have spend this money staying with kids. Better suited for adults or if money really isn't an issue spending already so much at the hotel.

CColdunwantedGreat location with alcohol vending machine at the entrance, coin locker at the front as well. Thankfully was available as there was only 4. Dislike how the lockers were placed outside and needed to be paid for to be used. *Likely the staffs are lazy to deal with luggage storage”.
The rooms were small as expected, pillow and blanket were okay, mattress had a sink towards the middle and honestly wasn’t that comfortable. Room was quite dusty, just a single movement from your blanket would send all the dusts flying, if your nose is sensitive, beware.
There’s no nose preventive measure, e.g. if someone opens their room door, it’s noticeably loud. Furthermore, since it’s a bunk bed design but in different room, if you’re unlucky and got the bottom bed, any movement from the top bed can be quite annoying. Honestly not a pleasant stay.

以往每次入往溫泉旅館，晚餐大多是會席料理，一缽缽精緻的懷石料理端上桌就是滿足。這次Asaya供應的卻是放題自助餐，本來有點擔心，但卻成為旅程的亮點。選擇多而且高質量，蟹腳不在話下，更有燒和牛、壽喜燒、刺身、本地著 名的湯波、火爐焗Pizza等等，目不暇給之餘味道也很好。早餐一樣是很豐富，這就不再詳述。
雖然酒店有點年紀，但不會覺得破舊。另外溫泉也值得品題，這裡有三個浴場，當中以十三樓的露天浴場最有特色。雖然早上天氣不佳看不到雪山景，唯在雨雪中泡一下也是特別體驗。

HHoSVery old school ryokan run by very friendly who has been working there for many years. Your name will be displayed on the board next to the entrance of the ryokan to show that they were currently welcoming these guests staying at the ryokan! We stayed there for 2 nights with free parking and we didn’t have to drive anywhere until we checked out as the ryokan is within walking distance to the 3 major world heritage listed shrines including The Toshogu Palace.
Avoid room 312 or 313 (which we stayed) which are the smallest rooms. Those rooms in the middle parts are bigger and more comfortable. Do ask for any room facing the back of the ryokan and avoid those facing the front where you only see car parks with coaches coming in the morning bringing tourists to the shrines.
The onsite Onsen for ryokan guests, breakfasts and dinners are the highlights. You’d love the traditional Japanese meals served there and you won’t be hungry.
Would I come back to this ryokan again? Yes definitely due to its location and friendly staff.

UUsuario invitadoDesde la estación Kinugawa Onsen, camine a lo largo del río durante 20 minutos y cruce el puente de hierro para llegar al hotel. El hotel está justo debajo del puente y se nota que se gastó mucho dinero en su construcción. Las aguas termales eran normales, la cena abundante y después de la cena había espectáculos acrobáticos. Se notaba que la mayoría de los turistas eran locales.

UUsuario invitadoEste hotel tenía muchas cosas geniales. Me alojé en el dormitorio 10 noches y, por el precio, prácticamente obtienes servicios y comodidades de hotel, una excelente relación calidad-precio. Cambiaban toallas a diario, la biblioteca y el salón eran geniales (alcohol y aperitivos gratis, además de hamacas preciosas y vistas al lago). El onsen era de buen tamaño, con piscinas cubierta y al aire libre.
Lo único que no me gustó fue el material de las cápsulas del dormitorio: madera fina y muy hueca, lo que provocaba un sonido ensordecedor cuando tus vecinos se movían a tu alrededor. Si tienes el sueño ligero, quizás deberías reconsiderarlo.
Pero por lo demás, fue genial. ¡Volvería!

BBenjaminsim87Experiencia extravagante del Onsen Hotel. Vine en otoño en la profundidad de los colores de caída. Cada noche el viento en los árboles me lloró a la cama. Las habitaciones con tubo privado y terraza son maravillosos. El desayuno y cena también son de lujo con una muestra de las delicias locales de Nikko como Yuba.

JJ. SimonThe hotel is around 10mins walk from Kinugawa-Onsen Station. Although there are many abandoned hotels, shops, residences, buildings around the surrounding area, I can still explore the area as the street lights are lit in the evening.
The hotel is divided into different wings and occupies a large area. I stayed in the upper floors of the hotel’s main building (Kirakukan) but there’s an option to stay at the hotel’s park-cottages that is built on the cliff of the riverbank and overlooks the Kinugawa river.
The Kinugawa Park Cottage is located separately further away from the main building.
I only noticed a local Japanese family of four or five persons being escorted by the hotel staff to one of the cottages.
Other than that one-off encounter, I didn’t see anyone else at the area around the cottage which is also super quiet.
Likewise for the other wings of the hotel i.e. Kinoyakata and Kishintei, I didn’t see any guests maybe due to low season.
Love the onsen and the private open-air bath, the traditional Japanese kaiseiki breakfast and dinner.
There’s also a souvenir shop, ramen & snack shop as well as an outdoor swimming pool which I couldn’t use as it is only available for use come summer time.
Just across the road from the hotel, there’s the Waterside Cafe Terrace, a 7-Eleven convenience store adjacent to the hotel and since there’s no self-service washing machine/dryer in the hotel, the nearest 24h laundromat is around a 5-min walk from the hotel located behind the Waterside Cafe Terrace and across the road facing “Galarie Cafe Painto E”.
On the day of check-out, the hotel helped to store my luggage and I had lunch at “Suzukawa Cafe” just next to Galarie Cafe Painto E. The food prices here are slightly cheaper than the ones near Kinugawa-Onsen station.

TTsusiefirst of I would like to thanks always trip.com for very nice & convinient bookings everytime,we stay new sakura hotel,because the interior of the hotel is mostly sakura theme,the carpet,the gorgeous chandelier, the wall design,etc.or cherry blossom in Japan,& so very affordable prize,we spend only 18,000 yen for 2 adults,with 2 breakfast & 2 dinner.Very near from kinugawa onsen station,only 3 hrs.from Tokyo.We amazed the room,so very big for the two of us,for very cheap prize,can accomodate even 10 person,the buffet breakfast & dinner also is so good but the most I want to share is the drink all you can alcohol beverages for 1 hour,like beer,japanese wine,sours, all kinds of softhdrinks,I enjoyed for self service alcohol drink all you can!the hotspring also is very good but the cons is take care in the outdoor spring because of the concrete stairs,especially for the elderly when slippery,there's
& a little bit far from our room,the young staff also at the counter is nice & most of them are young japanese lady,so very entertaining,so many free amusement like billiard,majong,etc.with a nice sorrounding sightseeng site.& last after check out they give 2000 yen discount coupon for the next visit,Thanks God & trip.com for a nice autumn tour moment in kinugawa onsen Tochigi Perfecture Japan
