Check in receptionist stated we had been given an upgrade room so a little bit bigger then what we booked which was of them. $200 a night is held on credit card so $2k held on credit card for our stay for security, meaning less money available to use for shopping at a place known to thrive on tourists spending lots of money. It’s a nice hotel in a great location. The room is spacious and with well equipped appliances. Nice toilet with heated seat that wash’s and dry your backside. We booked for 3 adults. The hotel website states it can accommodate up to 4 adults. The room was not prepared likewise. We had to work out on how to turn the sofa bed into a bed, almost trapping my hand! After sorting the sofa bed out we needed to get the sheets and duvet cover from housekeeping which they did very quickly. My daughter (adult) had the sofa bed. She complained it was uncomfortable. I swapped with her and confirmed the sofa bed is indeed very uncomfortable and would make an annoying sound when moving. My wife and daughter slept on the bed and me being a gentlemen slept on the sofa bed for rest of our stay. It’s common international knowledge if you need a new fresh towel then just place in bath tub or floor and housekeeping will provide fresh clean towels when cleaning room, but not here! I had cut myself shaving so there was a small bit of blood on towel, placed in bath tub as one would do, next day I got a towel which was folded up and found the same blood stain!

Un hotel de 5 puntos con un interior limpio y confortable. La suite con vistas al mar que reservamos tiene una hermosa vista. Está a solo 2 minutos de la playa. Es muy conveniente. La sorpresa más agradable es que hay una lavadora y secadora en la habitación. Las amas de casa que viajan con la boca son realmente grandes beneficios. Inesperadamente, el último día nos regalará un late check-out hasta las 8 pm. Recomendado.

First time staying here but definitely won’t be the last. So many people we met who were staying at the hotel were regular guests over many years and it wasn’t difficult to see why. A perfect sanctuary in Waikiki - close to everything but a luxury escape when you want a little peace and quiet We had an Ocean Suite which was spacious and very well appointed, but what made our experience was the the staff. Without exception they were first class and so many had worked at the hotel for 20+ years which says a lot. Already dreaming about our next stay and we have only just arrived home.

un hotel grande pero con muy buena atención. cerca de todo en waikiki pero sin mucho ruido. estuvimos 3 noches. el desayuno es completo de 7 a 9 de la mañana. dispone de lavanderia y las habitaciones son muy amplias, cada día te dejan Hawaiian Tropic. te dejan toallas cada día y dispone de parking que has de pagar aparte. nuestra estancia fue genial en la isla de oahu.

Reservé una habitación con dos camas. No había microondas y la nevera estaba muy caliente, no me fiaría de dejar comida allí durante la noche. La habitación estaba bien, aunque los pasillos olían a hierba y había manchas en el suelo de moqueta. Aparte de eso, disfruté de la vista desde el piso 15. El hotel también está justo en el medio de Waikiki y hay una parada de tranvía justo enfrente del hotel. (si no quieres pagar un precio enorme por el transporte, te sugiero que el tranvía de Waikiki $ 10 viajes sin escalas desde Waikiki a Ala Moana (línea rosa)

Mi marido reservaba este hotel para nosotros para celebrar mi 50o aniversario en Oahu. Fue una gran excursión. Nuestro estadía en el hotel fue maravilloso. Todo el personal tenía un gran servicio al cliente 😍(recepcionista, mantenimiento de casas, restaurante en el sitio) todo. La suite que estabamos en era muy espaciosa y tenía todo lo que necesitaba (cucina, ducha de baño y ducha de alta calidad, vanidad de la ducha doble y armario separado para mí y mi marido y el baño estaba en una habitación separada. we were there just 1 night, and really only to sleep. but the location is great for not being on the beach, just a min walk to all the shops. The bed was comfy and it was nice to have a separate bedroom from the kids. Our pearl harbor tour ran late and we were going to be late for the already requested late check out. they were so nice and said no problem to keeping the room till almost 2 pm. they could have said tough luck so we really appreciate that! Also the entire place smells insanely good- they sell the scent sticks- had to grab some before we left.

Buen servicio al cliente, personal amigable. Damien, nuestro valet era genial! $45 valet parking al día pero $30 dólares/día parking opción por la calle detrás de Ross. La habitación de la Reina era bonita, colorida pero un poco más pequeña de lo esperado. Carpeta y baño anticuado, pero tiene balcón. No hay microondas en la habitación, sino snacks y caldera para agua caliente, así como té. Grande armario para tus ropa a más. TV tiene canales de cable pero no hay primas. Mantenimiento de la casa bien con traer toallas diarias. Puede obtener toallas de playa desde el escritorio delantero. Justo detrás de Halekulani, puedes caminar a la playa en unos minutos. El interior es muy bonito porque es un nuevo hotel. Sin embargo, he tenido cumpleaños y he pedido los artículos con antelación, pero tal vez no esté bien para combinar  Nada en la habitación. Cuando les dije de nuevo en la recepción, recibí el vino. Es muy lamentable, es muy malo y muy problemático, pero el hotel es muy cómodo.

No espere mucho más que la ubicación. No deberían llamar a sus niños la piscina de paddling como una piscina, cobrar una tarifa de resort por ofrecer sillas y sombras para que usted los tome todo el camino, 10 minutos a pie de una playa pública.

Stayed here in May 2023. Initially, was a little disappointed with a few things (see below) but honestly, the location more than makes up for it. You are about 10 mins from the nearest beach, and there are many ABC Stores within a 5 min walk (should you want basics). Proper actual supermarkets are unfortunately not an easy walk away (and I don't mean 7-Elevens), so be aware. The Walmart near the Ala Moana centre is an easy bus-ride though, so there's that. You can catch a bus from Seaside/Kuhio, which makes getting around much easier. OK, about the hotel itself. Customer service was excellent, although the rooms are only 'made up' about every 2-3 days (seemed random). They can get quite sandy if you're a beach type. Rooms are comfortable but basic. We stayed in a room with 2 double beds to sleep 2 adults and 2 children (5 & 7) and it was comfortable. Beds are King size, I was estimate. The balcony is spacious, but weirdly they only give you 2 chairs (odd for a room that sleeps 4). You can bring in the 'office' type chair from inside but you're still short one. Beds were comfy and the room was quiet, although Honolulu is a noisy place at any time of the day, so you have a choice of: be cool with a very noisy AC or sleep through noise with the balcony door open. The emergency services love driving around with their sirens on at 3am, so have fun with that. The 'kitchen' area is sp**** to say the least but functional. We had the basics we needed, they provided washing up liquid, which was nice- but didn't bother with a washing up sponge, which we had to get ourselves. Had a microwave and a rather rubbish filter coffee machine which we used once and never bothered with again. Bathroom was small but good enough, we always had enough hot water, so no complaints with the shower etc. Wifi was great, had a router in the room, and the provided cable tv was also fine with plenty of choice. On the 6th floor was the pool, laundry area (well equipped with lots of washers and dryers, reasonably priced) and the shop (small but well stocked) The shining light of the hotel was the pancake/ coffee shop in the lobby. It was called 49ers, and served fantastic breakfast/ beverages. Ironically it isn't anything to do with the hotel but you get 10% off as a resident, which mounts up as it's not cheap (nothing in Hawai'i is cheap, anything but). We were repeat customers! On the down side, we repeatedly had to get rid of cockroaches which wasn't a big deal, but still. As mentioned, the aircon is effective but super noisy. They forgot to give us a corkscrew in the room, and dithered about replacing it (bought our own in the ABC shop in the end) All in all, good stay, would've liked to see some improvements, but otherwise I'd recommend. The negatives weren't that much of a problem, and we'd probably stay here again (just need a 4th chair for the balcony!!)
