Nos quedaron dos días en Manila para la gran final de nuestra luna de miel antes de volver a China. La vibe? Total lujo. Nos cayó en Discovery Primea, justo en el corazón de Makati. Nuestro cuarto era espacioso, super cómodo, y el servicio de habitaciones 24/7 era básicamente un sueño de luna de miel que viene verdadero 😂. Justo fuera del hotel, se está arruinando por elección: un parque lush para paseos de la mañana, toneladas de restaurantes y un gran centro comercial (Glorietta Mall, Ayala Center, Makatiopen diariamente de 10AM a 9PM). Nos encontrábamos en el supermercado de la camioneta de comidas Filipinas, por lo que nuestra maleta fue cargada con bonitas locales para el viaje a casa. ¿Por qué nos gustaba? - Perfecto localización centralpasos de cafés, tiendas, y toda la acción - Las habitaciones son grandes y super cómodas, con camas ultra suaves - Todo es sin puntos! Antiguo y viejo, pero con un interior pesado. La comodidad es buena El vestíbulo es mejor que la habitación. Vi cómo se celebraba una boda adinerada local y fue divertido ver a los invitados con trajes y vestidos, tomando té en el vestíbulo mientras se realizaba una interpretación de piano y un cóctel de manera elegante en el piso de arriba del vestíbulo.

I had an exceptional stay at Ascott Makati. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Makati with direct access to Glorietta Mall, making shopping, dining, and exploring the city incredibly convenient. The rooms are spacious, modern, and very well-maintained. I especially appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living space, which made it feel like a home away from home. Housekeeping was consistent and attentive, ensuring everything stayed spotless throughout my stay. The staff went above and beyond in every interaction. From the warm welcome at the front desk to the efficient service at breakfast, everyone was friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The amenities are top-notch, with a relaxing pool, well-equipped gym, and great dining options. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of choices, all fresh and delicious. Overall, Ascott Makati delivers the perfect balance of comfort, luxury, and convenience. Whether for business or leisure, I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely choose it again on my next visit to Manila.

Fue una buena estadía, aunque tuvimos que cambiar de habitación debido a un problema con el aire acondicionado. Además, la mucama no hizo un buen trabajo limpiando la habitación las últimas 2 noches. La ubicación es buena. El personal de recepción es muy amable, excepto por el personal llamado Molly (nos dio una reacción facial de enojo), no obstante, recomendamos a Sam y Charisse.

¡Un depósito de 4000 pesos! La cocina es un desastre, con electrodomésticos anticuados (ni siquiera hay tetera en la habitación). El baño es muy oscuro. No hay suficientes ascensores en este edificio, así que hay que esperar mucho. La piscina infantil es muy pequeña y solo tiene un metro de profundidad. Los fines de semana, incluso llega hasta aquí música de una calle conocida. Se escucha con claridad desde el pasillo.

Spa was mediocre. They need to improve on customer experience. Massage room too cold and no way to adjust temperature. No heated bed. Had to ask for more towels to keep me warm. Didn’t smell like a spa. Little musty. Therapist was good though. The rooms are well appointed and very spacious. Complete with kitchen in a 2BR Suite. Bathtub too high for short people and may cause accidents. There’s a washer dryer combo that technically only washed clothes and kept clothes damp. The dryer was not efficient and we checked out with still damp clothes. 3 associates came to the room and tried to solve the problem. Their suggestion was to wash the clothes again so it will trigger the dry cycle. Never worked. Waste of time and energy. Dryer should dry clothes. Period. Breakfast selection was good. Saw a little cockroach walk around the sushi area. 😲 The area can get so much traffic. Kalayaan Ave can get crazy busy. Give enough time and clear directions for your Grab diver if you want to make your appointments on time. OVERALL GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY!

En general, todavía estoy satisfecho con este hotel ya que la ubicación es muy estratégica, hay muchos restaurantes, bares bistró y pubs cerca en un radio de 10 minutos a pie. Solo es necesario mejorar la limpieza de la habitación, me estaba quedando en el estudio de la habitación king, pero la alfombra estaba muy sucia, el resto es aceptable.

It's such an old place, but the location is ok. Unfortunately the lift didn't work and it was manually operated (in a good efficient way but still quite slow to go up and down). Being abto to open the window in one of the highest floor, and look down, seems quite unsafe especially if there are kids around (but I want to believe people with kids are not given this room). The bathroom had some sewage smell coming from toilet. Good bed and decent shower. Good AC 2000 php deposit seems too high and unnecessary Staff was friendly

La ubicación del hotel es muy conveniente. Hay un 7-11 al lado y hay muchos restaurantes al otro lado de la calle. Es muy fácil comer. La habitación es relativamente antigua y se ve que ha envejecido durante mucho tiempo. Pero a este precio, en realidad está bien. Justo abajo está Bar Street, donde la vida nocturna es bastante rica. Si desea alojarse en Makati y desea una buena ubicación y un alojamiento económico, vale la pena visitar este hotel de Oxford.
