Stayed at Fairmont Makati for a recent business trip and had a very smooth and comfortable experience overall. The hotel is located in a prime area of Makati, right in the central business district and within walking distance of major malls, restaurants, and offices, which made it extremely convenient for work travel and client meetings. Check-in was efficient and professional, and the staff throughout the stay were consistently polite and attentive. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with all the essentials for business travelers, including a comfortable work desk and reliable housekeeping. The bed was especially comfortable, which helped after long working days. Wi-Fi is generally stable and suitable for work, though in some areas it can feel slightly inconsistent during peak hours. The hotel also offers strong business facilities, including meeting rooms and easy access to transport services like Grab, which made commuting around Makati and to the airport very convenient. Breakfast offered a good variety, and the dining options within the hotel are solid for both quick meals and more formal business dinners. The lobby and common areas have a calm, professional atmosphere that suits corporate travel well. Overall, Fairmont Makati is a strong choice for business stays in Manila due to its location, service quality, and comfort, even if pricing is on the higher side compared to other nearby options. Would definitely consider staying again for future business trips.

Antiguo y viejo, pero con un interior pesado. La comodidad es buena El vestíbulo es mejor que la habitación. Vi cómo se celebraba una boda adinerada local y fue divertido ver a los invitados con trajes y vestidos, tomando té en el vestíbulo mientras se realizaba una interpretación de piano y un cóctel de manera elegante en el piso de arriba del vestíbulo.

For a 5 star hotel, the service is very annoying. They would call me randomly to ask for feedback a few hours after I checked in. They would knock on my door early in the morning while I'm still sleeping to do a ”room check”... On the day of my check out, I had a knock on the door a bit past 9am, I ignored it as I was still in bed but they kept ringing the bell. I finally got up and the lady asked ”is there anything I can help with?”. Yes leave me alone. I went back to bed to rest and then got a phone call soon after as a reminder that check out is at 12pm. It's not even 10am yet and your staff already interrupted my sleep twice. Trying to get the room clean involves multiple phone calls. Once I left it to see how long it would take but at 6pm, I had to call since they never came during the day. Another time they cleaned, the cleaners said they ran out of towels so there would be someone who would deliver soon. I forgot about it until we went to have a shower and then it took almost an hour for the towels to arrive so we had to wait to use the bathroom as they took away the dirty towels so we didn't have anything to dry ourselves. Don't order room service. The food is very bad. I actually gagged on a drink they prepared. The TV is very old, they are still using cable technology. WiFi is patchy. Trying to get up and down the lift is a nightmare if you come at the wrong time as the line gets backed up all the way out into the street. My girlfriend was stopped by over eager security staff when she was trying to leave to buy some snacks as the room service meals were so bad even tho she had a room key and they would not let her up to the lobby on the 6th floor without me. Instead, I had to go down and pick her up from the ground floor where she was sitting in the corner like she was in trouble.

El examen del hotel: La experiencia en esta propiedad Shangri-La no fue tan buena como en la región. En la habitación, el aire acondicionado no era ajustable, y me encanta que el equipo envió a un técnico para comprobarlo, pero la unidad se mantuvo muy alta toda la noche, ciclismo cada uno de los minutos, lo que dificultó el sueño. Viajando con otro amigo, su habitación también encontró un problema con el agua de baño que parecía marrón, que el técnico concluye que se debe a la acumulación de sedimentos. En general, recomendaría elegir el Shangri-La en BGC en lugar de eso, ya que ofrece una mejor experiencia.

Central location in Makati! The staff are extremely focused on giving you the best possible stay and service possible. Food was excellent too!

Muy buen lugar, restaurantes cercas y supermercados, en la azotea hay uno, un poco más caro pero buenas vistas, las habitaciones bastante bien, un poco de ruido pero como en casi toda filipinas.

We always book in this hotel whenever we attend yearly events in Makati. This time, I booked with family. Location is good. Only the parking area is very limited. But overall, it is ok. Breakfast are simple silogs but still good.

Las instalaciones de la casa son muy antiguas, el saneamiento también es muy aleatorio, el aire no es bueno y hay mucho ruido, lo que dificulta dormir por la noche. ¡Pero la actitud de servicio de la señora de la recepción es muy buena! ¡Esto es lo único digno de elogio! ¡La señorita es muy dulce! Al ver que me quejaba de estas situaciones me ayudaron a cambiar de habitación. Gracias a esta señora!
