The Best Western Coffeyville Central Business District Inn and Suites is within walking distance of the Historic Business District, City Hall and the Dalton Defenders Museum. Local points of interest include the Brown Mansion historic landmark, the Coffeyville Aviation Heritage Museum, Veterans Memorial Stadium and the historic Perkins Building, home of the former Condon Bank, this landmark was the sight of an historic shootout that occurred between the infamous Dalton Gang and the Dalton Defenders. There was a boil water alert while we were there. Nothing the hotel could do. They did provide us with bottle water.

The cleaning people open our doors when we never checking out at 9 am . I had to go complain to the front counter. Last time we stay their in August we didn’t have hot water. We where told when we came back they are going to give us extra discount. The girl in front counter replied by saying” you already getting them cheap so why you complain.

I called ahead to verify a working hot tub. I was told yes, they had one and it works. Of course when I got there it was ice cold. Lying to guests just to get them to reserve a room is bad business.

I called on Friday morning, asked if the pool & hot tub were operational. Was told they would be on Saturday. Arrived at 2pm on Saturday to a sign that read “pool down for maintenance”. Very disappointing to the kids. Stayed here once before this year and had the same problems. Won’t stay here again

All was fine except that the motel information sheet needs to be updated. Listed TV stations were not available. Also, a wiki needs to be installed so that the TV guide will appear.

We booked this hotel due to its location. We were there for the Dalton Defenders Day reenactment. All the activities were a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel itself was very nice - the only problem was that the hot tub wasn't working - no hot water. Clean comfortable room with a decent breakfast.

Not my favorite Best Western. The room appeared tidy and the breakfast was good. But the hot tub didn't work, the pool didn't look overly clean, and there was an unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom. ( I suspect a plumbing issue somewhere.) Also, the location is fairly close to some well-used train tracks, and there is a fair amount of construction in the area. Neither of these are the fault of the hotel, but traveler beware, this is not the place for a restful night or morning.
