Travel Inn la Junta

The room had so many issues and the staff was never available to fix anything. If it wasn’t for the circumstances, would have checked out that same evening.

Arrived at 5 pm, room was not ready and would not be for some time. We moved on. This was supposed to be a guaranteed return room, but they would not refund our money. They admitted their hot water heater was out and that some rooms had no heat.

Check in was a mess, front desk could not find my reservation. Just had me leave a contact number, the front desk told me they would check in the morning when the other person was there. Claimed that the motel moving to a new system. Front desk area was cluttered with boxes of cleaning supplies. Paperwork scattered all of the desk. Attendant was friendly when speaking. Finally got a room. Room was about what I expected for the price, but was not expecting to find stains and crumbs in the beds. Went to use the bathroom, opened the lid and found a toilet scrub brush in the toilet. There was no WiFi at first, had to go to front desk to ask, because nobody was answering the phone. The attendant needed to reboot the router. TV in room did not work. No towels in the room. Old pillows on the beds. There was no amenities offered with the stay (coffee, breakfast, etc). Will not stay here again. Spend a few extra bucks to stay at any other hotel in La Junta.

Nothing works in the room. Shower broke. TV broke. Sheets dirty. Bad very bad experience

This place was very cozy and staff very welcoming. They were able to accommodate me last min and allowed me to check out late since my work hours are late night and I don't get to sleep till morning. They should definitely update the photos because the rooms are much more modern than the advertised photos! It felt like a luxury stay at a bargain price. Will definitely visit again.!

The manager gave us a key that didn't work and she was no where to be found when we tried to get into our room. We waited for 45 minutes before she showed up. We gave her the key to the room but she used her master key to open the door. She would not refund our money. We didn't "take possession" of the room since we couldn't get in. She was no help at all and got very belligerent with us. She told us when we made the reservation that we were about an hour away and she would have the room ready. When we got to the hotel, the room still wasn't ready. We went to supper and came back and couldn't get into our room. She also doesn't answer the phone. One car in the parking lot should have been an indication that this wasn't the place to stay.
