Hoteles en Colombo con desayuno

I recently stayed at the Colombo Court Hotel, and while it offers good value and excellent rooms, the hospitality felt a bit rigid for a tourist. First, the bright spots: The room itself was fantastic. It was large, impeccably clean, and featured great-quality sheets with plenty of excellent pillows. The bathroom was stocked with plush towels and quality toiletries. Since I arrived fighting a cold, the great selection of coffee and teas in the room was an absolute lifesaver. However, the customer service left a lot to be desired. I arrived at noon after an all-night flight. Even though it's the low season and the hotel felt completely empty, the front desk rigidly enforced the 2:00 PM check-in time. They didn't even offer an early check-in for a fee. Instead, I was told I could wait out in the heat by the pool for two hours. There was also a strange billing issue at check-in. The front desk asked me for a $43 payment, even though I had already prepaid in full. I had to firmly show them my paperwork showing the booking platform's virtual credit card payment before they backed off. They didn't bring it up again, but it felt a bit like a shakedown attempt. Finally, my booking confirmation explicitly stated checkout was between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Yet, at 11:30 AM, staff knocked on my door telling me checkout was actually at 11:00 AM. Even after showing the front desk my confirmation, they insisted their rule was 11:00 AM. The staff was always friendly and polite, but it felt like they were serving their rulebook rather than their guests. The property is very clean but has much more of a business-traveler vibe than a welcoming tourist destination. I have another reservation here for my return leg, but I’ll be canceling it to stay somewhere else.

Location is great, just beside One Galle Face Mall. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around. Beautiful sunset views (from the bar, pool, restaurant, lobby) and Galle Face opposite the road. Rooms are gorgeous and spacious. Checked in Dec 30-Jan 2 peak season. Hotel was fully booked. Waited in the lobby for my room to be ready upon check-in. Front desk said they will find me to let me know. Waited for more than an hour before I asked them again and told me that my room has been ready. Ordered some room service which took more than an hour to be delivered. Granted they told me that it may take about 50 minutes because it was peak hours. Upon delivery they told me it was comped because of the long wait. Pool, restaurant, and bar staff are all great. Very personable and accommodating. Loved the sky pool on the 31st floor. No bar but not as crowded as the main pool. Breakfast was great. A lot of choices. Asian selection is great. Pastries not so much, some didn’t seem fresh. Heard from some staff that it gets super busy from around 9 but didn’t experience any long wait. Plenty of tables to accommodate people. Overall a great experience and will definitely stay here again if I’m in Colombo.

El ambiente de la habitación es muy bueno, la estancia es muy cómoda y me siento muy bien. Quizás sea porque vine antes de África y siento que el ambiente hotelero, el alojamiento y el baño aquí son geniales. ¡Buena reseña! Y esto es muy recomendado por los clientes, es relativamente tranquilo y hay muchos restaurantes deliciosos cerca, también hay un restaurante del noreste no muy lejos del hotel, que es muy bueno. La experiencia general del alojamiento es muy buena, dormir es lo principal cuando se viaja por negocios, los alrededores son muy tranquilos y muy cómodos. El desayuno también es bueno, comida local de Sri Lanka, si no estás acostumbrado también hay comida occidental, pan, leche, etc. Elegiré este hotel la próxima vez, pero puede que el hotel esté un poco lejos del aeropuerto y tomar un taxi Uber solo cuesta unos 100 yuanes. El aeropuerto está a poco más de una hora. Así que planifica tu viaje con antelación. Las señoras de la recepción del hotel son muy agradables.

Esta fue mi primera estancia en el Hotel Mandarina Colombo. El hotel estaba convenientemente ubicado, frente al centro comercial Marino Mall, y había muchos restaurantes y una tienda cerca. La habitación era muy espaciosa y limpia. Sin embargo, no se proporcionaron artículos básicos como pantuflas ni plancha. Espero que el hotel tome nota de esto. Aparte de esto, el servicio fue excelente, con un personal muy amable y atento. Como musulmán, me encantó que la habitación estuviera bien equipada con la dirección de la Kibla (oración), el Corán y una alfombra de oración. También me alegró que el desayuno fuera bueno, delicioso y muy respetuoso con las diferencias raciales y religiosas, ya que solo se servían platos vegetarianos y comida halal. Sin duda recomendaré este hotel a otros que visiten Colombo, Sri Lanka. No dudaré en volver a alojarme en el Mandarina Colombo. ¡Simplemente me encantó!

La vista fuera de la ventana es excelente, puedes ver directamente la Torre del Loto. Su equipaje debe ser facturado en la puerta, por lo que la seguridad está garantizada. El personal del hotel es muy amable y responderá cualquier pregunta con paciencia. Especialmente las damas del hotel visten hermosos saris. El desayuno estuvo genial. El chico que hizo los pasteles de arroz nos saludó en chino cuando se enteró de que éramos de China. El chico que hace la limpieza también es muy agradable. También me encontré con la boda de un local al día siguiente~

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff and security guard were so kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel interior was beautiful and well designed, and everything was clean and comfortable. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so pleasant. We really appreciated the warm hospitality and would be happy to stay here again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

¡Las instalaciones del hotel son completas y el restaurante es genial! Es sólo comida occidental. Hay un restaurante cantonés a un kilómetro de los alrededores, abierto por un nordestino. La decoración y el gusto son buenos y el precio es asequible. ¡Pertenece al centro de la ciudad y tiene transporte conveniente! Uber es muy conveniente, Sri Lanka es un gran lugar para viajar

My stay at Radisson Hotel Colombo was very pleasant. The hotel is well-maintained, modern, and comfortable. The rooms were clean, quiet, and suitable for both business and leisure stays. Service was smooth and professional, and the staff were polite and helpful throughout the stay. The location is convenient, especially for business travelers, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and well-organized. Check-in and check-out were efficient, and room service and housekeeping met expectations. Overall, Radisson Hotel Colombo offers a reliable and comfortable stay with good service standards. Based on my experience, I would definitely consider staying here again during future visits to Colombo.

Esta vez, la estadía en general se siente bien. La ubicación del hotel es buena, la salida de la puerta es muy conveniente para cocinar y comer, y el proximidad es más cálida. La habitación es más limpia que imaginar, la cama es muy cómoda, y no hay ruido en la noche. El servicio de recepción es bueno, el tratamiento de la estancia es rápido y los problemas ayudarán a resolver. El único pequeño problema es que hay que esperar un poco de agua caliente, pero no afecta el uso. En general, el precio es muy alto, la próxima vez que vienen aquí debería considerar la posibilidad de volver a vivir.

Amazing location and friendly staff and clean rooms. Will be a added bonus if we can have Jaffna food Available all day from lunch time till midnight. Great experianca. Well done
