I’ve never written a bad hotel review ever in my life, but unfortunately, here it goes. It’s a shame since other past reviews are very positive, but I need to be frank and honest about my experience and will be diving the ratings according to subcategories so that it is fair, since some aspects of the stay were great and some not so much. Check in process: 2 stars This is not the ‘typical’ hotel entrance where the lobby is on the ground floor. The floor in which you enter is 1/f. The floor of the hotel is 4/f, but this is clearly stated as a signage at the entrance (see photo attached). Upon arrival, I went towards the hotel entrance . There, I stood in front of an operating system, where guests would need to enter the hotel using a key fob. Of course, I wouldn’t have this key fob at hand at check in. There are no clear instructions in any language above the operator stating how you should call the receptionist using the operator to open the door for you (refer to attached photo). Thankfully, a passerby was kind enough to help me call the receptionist and asked her to open the door for me. It is also better to have mobile data at hand so you can communicate with the staff via whatsapp text/call if you cannot enter, since I think this is the faster means of communicating with guests. When I checked in, I explained my confusion to entering the building. I told the receptionist lady that I couldn’t enter since there are no instructions in any language above the operator. She then had the audacity to tell me that there ARE indeed instructions above the operator im English, and I should have followed it. Again, the photo I attached shows no such instructions, so I do not comprehend what she is talking about at all. Upon departure, I voiced out these issues, and the more reasonable receptionists said that they usually send these check in details via email, though I had not received such email(s). Noise level and disturbance: 2 stars My room had really thin walls and you can easily hear people passing through in the hallway. I got to a room with a balcony and up until 2 am, I still continuously heard 2 women talking loudly non-stop in the room next to me. To attempt to put a halt to this, I called the receptionist using the calling button thrice in my room, since the initial receptionist lady who checked me in said they provided 24 hour service, and to my dismay, no one bothered answering me. I had to personally take matters into my own hands and asked them to keep it down. Room and amenities: 5 stars In terms of amenities provided within the room and how it was renovated and all, it deserves 5 stars. It was clean and the amenities provided were plentiful for a short stay.

Best hotel we stayed in the caucasus! Room size was big. Loved the professional service from the front desk, very clean rooms, amazing breakfast and after 2 days of having breakfast in the hotel, the very attentive staff at the breakfast area even rem my surname! That was a pleasant surprise! Enjoyed every moment here and was sad to leave. Will definitely recommend everyone to stay!!!

Mövenpick Hotel Yerevan is a very good option within its segment, especially if you appreciate fresh, newly opened hotels. The hotel has only recently opened, and you can really feel it — everything is absolutely new, clean, and fresh, from the rooms to the common areas. The rooms feel modern, comfortable, and well maintained, which makes the stay especially pleasant. The location may be slightly debatable depending on what you are looking for. It is still very central and within walking distance of basically every major point in the city, but perhaps a little farther from the main walking and leisure areas compared to some other central hotels. That said, this is Yerevan — “far” here means around a 10-minute walk, so it is all very relative. What really stood out was the staff and service. Everyone was extremely welcoming, attentive, and genuinely willing to accommodate guests in every possible way. They truly try to help and make the stay comfortable. Overall, a very pleasant impression and a hotel I would definitely consider staying at again.

Прекрасный небольшой уютный отель в центре города находится в шаговой доступности от основных достопримечательностей. Расположен во дворе, и поэтому не слышно шума улиц. Номер просторный светлый. Имеется все необходимое для комфортного проживания. Полноценный завтрак был включен в стоимость. Вежливый приветливый персонал хорошо говорят на русском и английском. Имеется свой закрытый маленький дворик со столиками. Зимой им не пользовались, но летом очень приятно провести здесь время, попить чай или позавтракать в тени деревьев.

Hotel stay was very nice and the room was very large and clean

Don’t be misled by the high ranking point of this place. The only thing it deserves 10 out of 10 is people who work there. The helped us to get to the third floor with luggage. And yes the hotel is on the third floor and only stairs! The bed is not professional hotel bed, the mattress is soft and has waves in it, so you have to choose the right position of you body to catch the straight part, the pillows are very cheap and extremely soft, the don’t hold your head at all. You can feel the sweat smell mixed with other people perfume through the pillowcase. It’s disgusting. The whole building and the room in particular have very strong smell of smoking. I assume people smoked there for many years and stopped in nearest past, so the smell is really strong. In my country it is prohibited to smoke in public places for many years now and I completely forgot that unpleasant smell. And the noise, it is so loud, as if you sleep right in the street. Cars, bikes, music, people laughing, so loud. All in all it is place to stay when you drive for a long time and stopped in some cheap motel by the road when you are unable to drive any longer. Not suitable for stay in city, even if it is one night stay. Unless you’re ok with all the things above.

La habitación era enorme y tenía muy buen aspecto. Los muebles eran cómodos. El internet era excelente. Está cerca del circo y del Monumento a la Madre Armenia, pero no se puede ir andando a otros lugares turísticos. Un problema que tuve fue el aislamiento acústico. El ruido al abrir la puerta era bastante fuerte y había una especie de hueco grande debajo de la puerta, lo que creo que dejaba pasar más sonido del pasillo. También oí pasos fuertes de otros huéspedes algunas noches. Si no tienes el sueño ligero y no te importa conducir o coger un taxi, diría que es una muy buena opción.

Elegí el Alex Hotel para pasar media noche y la mañana entre vuelos. Fue una buena elección porque el taxi me dejó en el hotel en unos diez minutos (está a unos kilómetros de la ciudad), el hotel fue fácil de encontrar y me recibieron y me registraron a las 3 de la noche. El lugar es tranquilo y la habitación estaba limpia. Agua caliente en el baño. Recomendaría una cortina para la ducha, porque era imposible ducharse, el agua salpicaba todo el baño, literalmente. El desayuno incluía arroz con garbanzos, algo así como shawarma vegetariano, ensalada de col y zanahoria, dos tipos de galletas, té y café. Un costo de 3000 drams es un poco demasiado, en mi opinión. Sin embargo, en general, el hotel está bien para pasar la noche entre vuelos.

Отель соответствует заявленной цене проживания, но не соответствует заявленному количеству звезд. Впечатление хорошее, но отсутствие чайных ложек на завтраке создает некоторое неудобство.

Очень неоднозначный отель. Он огромный, раньше был наверняка шикарным. Написано, что после реновации, это и подкупило. По факту номера старые, из принадлежностей только полотенца и мыло. Самое что удивило это завтраки, лучше бы их не было: творог, сметана, вареные сосиски в целлофане, омлет, дешева колбаса, и единственное что меняется это разваренный рис с морковью и гречка. Из напитков только чан с горячей и холодной водой, растворимый кофе. Про овощи и фрукты можно забыть - это позор! Выручал бар в лобби. По цене отель чуть ниже рынка, но лучше бы чуть добавили в цене и исправили питание, или исключили бы его и не позорились. Персонал хороший, добрый, во всем помогал.
