"Location: North-side of Bintan in Berakit area. About an hour car ride (resort can arrange) from BBT ferry terminal. Great for stargazers. Rare gem of Bortle 4 skies at a convenient location near Singapore. Service: Excellent! Especially appreciate the help, advice and utmost support given by Resort Manager, Aider, in ensuring smooth equipment clearance and arrangements as well as the area where we stay is conducive for stargazing. Thankful also for his entire team e.g. Yuni etc. who were all highly responsive and responsible in addressing any requests. Housekeeping and cleanliness: Excellent! Rooms: Beautiful, traditional, cultural, wooden Joglo design. Large, clean and spacious. Comfortable bed. Well equipped. Food and Beverage: Yummy breakfast with a good variety of options included in the hotel package. The restaurant's ala carte menu for food and drinks was great too. We’ve enjoyed eating their Martabak Telur, Chicken Rendang pizza, Gado gado, Bintan Exotica Nasi Goreng and Avocado Juice. Nearby Shops: About 8-10 mins walk to a minimart selling snacks, drinks, toiletries etc. About 20-25 mins walk to a local barber and eatery (Kuliner Rasa). Had a lovely and enjoyable stargazing and astrophotography experience under dark skies at open beachfront area. Thanks to the resort for flexibility and fantastic support given to facilitate good stargazing experience!"

"This was my first Club Med experience, and I initially thought it was only for families with kids. But this trip completely changed my perception of Club Med. To sum it up: it's an absolutely amazing place, a true paradise! The GOs (Gentle Organizers) are incredibly friendly, like friends. There's delicious, unlimited local food, beach BBQs, live singers by the sea, tons of fun activities, and great boutique shops to browse! About the room: Although the Club Med in Bintan is a bit older, it's very well-maintained. The room was clean and tidy, quite spacious, and the bathroom had no strange smells or dampness. If you're lucky, you might even spot a monkey! 🐵 About the food: I think the all-inclusive package at Club Med offers great value for money. There are two main restaurants: one buffet and one à la carte that requires reservations. The food quality is good, especially the reservation-only restaurant which was fantastic. For dinner, they had a spread of seafood! 🦞 About the activities: We tried aerial yoga and tennis, and the experience was superb. I heard this is the only Club Med in the world with aerial yoga – doing yoga by the ocean was incredibly therapeutic. It's a shame we didn't have more time to try other activities. Every evening, there were amazing performances by the GOs! About the spa: I highly recommend their spa. The techniques were great, but more importantly, the views were incredible. I suggest the 'honeymoon room' where you can directly see the sea – the spa itself is very photogenic. About the GOs: The GOs are truly the soul of Club Med. Our GO, Frankie, was incredibly thoughtful. He ate with us, chatted with us by the sea until late at night, and treated us like friends. And Beverly, the yoga instructor, is such a warm and sunny Malaysian girl. Not to mention the sisters at the boutique shop – we found so many beautiful clothes there. I truly love everyone! We will definitely be back!!"

"Our stay was just perfect. It is a beautiful Balinese traditional set-up villa, every staff was friendly and so kind and it really touched my heart. It's a bit old property but perfectly maintained, I didn't feel it's old at all and I was rather impressed how well they kept this beautiful villa. You can also notice a great attention to detials, the person (people) came up with this design and architect must be genius! I was worried after seeing the review on bugs, yes there are bugs, but it's perfectly natural cause the villa is in the middle of the nature! That's the charm of this resort. I would be concerned if they use too much chemicals to kill the bugs. I hate bugs but there was nothing harmful - like a roach I always see in HK.. so I was totally ok! There are cute lizards roaming around too, I really loved watching them. I really enjoyed staying in Banyan Tree but most of all it was people who made my stay memorable - everyone smiles and greeted so nicely which really made my trip. They were very attentive and accommodating too. I wish I could go back one day!"

"Grand Lagoi ofrece servicios de transporte gratuitos a la llegada y a la salida. Si bien Grand Lagoi está situado al lado de Plaza Lagoi, Plaza Lagoi no tiene nada que ofrecer dado que todos los inquilinos ya han cerrado (lamentablemente). Por lo tanto, te quedan opciones de comida limitadas si no te aventuras a salir del hotel. Por lo demás, las habitaciones están limpias y son espaciosas. Las camas están bien, pero en general están bien. El servicio también es bueno. Mi familia y yo nos alojamos aquí durante 2 noches y creo que ese es el máximo de días :)"

"We had a wonderful island getaway! We landed at Changi Airport first, then took a ferry to Bintan Island. From the moment we arrived at the pier, we experienced the warm and thoughtful service of Indigo. The transfer staff proactively helped us with our two large 28-inch suitcases and warmly welcomed us to the island. The hotel front desk staff were also very enthusiastic and attentive, offering us drinks and hot towels to help us unwind after our journey. Our room was clean and bright. The bedding is worth mentioning: the mattress was firm, and the pillows were a bit soft; it would have been more comfortable if they had more support. The hotel breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious, with both à la carte and buffet options available. All the service staff we encountered during our stay were very friendly and welcoming. They would greet us proactively and would offer help if they saw we needed something. We heard they're building a small shopping mall next door, which will make things even more convenient in the future! We'd definitely stay here again if we get the chance!"
