Vinimos porque queríamos visitar Colmar, y nos ofreció una caja, así que hicimos esta parada en este hotel. Íbamos con la ilusión de encontrar una habitación como las de la web:modernas, limpias, cuidadas..cuando llegamos la recepción estaba impecable, sin embargo, nuestra sorpresa fue encontrar una habitación antigua, con moqueta de leopardo, olor a cerrado, pintura levantada, sillones con tapicería sucia, sin a penas iluminación, muy alejado de lo que aparece en la página web, las camas tienen la colchones muy duros e incomodos y las almohadas tienen un relleno desigual y duro (nos hemos levantado con dolor de espalda cada dia). Nos sentimos engañados así que solicitamos en la recepción un cambio de habitación alegando que era muy diferente a lo que aparecía en la página web, pero sin ninguna disculpa nos comunicaron que no había más habitaciones disponibles. Para más sorpresa, vimos en la web que si había disponibilidad de más habitaciones , lo comentamos en la recepción pero nos dijeron que si queríamos un cambio teníamos que pagar un importe superior por noche. En resumen 2 engaños: 1. La habitación no se corresponde con lo que pone en la web. 2. En la recepción nos engañaron diciendo que no había mas habitaciones disponibles y luego al demostrarles que si ni si quiera se disculparon. Una decepción.

Aquí nos quedamos a menudo en nuestro viaje por Europa. Es asequible, cómodo y limpio como un whistle. Pero eso no es todo lo que importa... El personal es maravilloso, nada es demasiado problema. El hotel está situado en el centro de Alsacia, donde se encuentran las mejores chicas de Alsacia. El desayuno (a will or if you're English, all you can eat) is a super setup for your journey: cold meat, cheeses, cereals, nice bread and coffee and Proust's favorite - Madeleines! Fresh! Puedes estar fuera con una cerveza o en el interior con vinos Alsatianos y sentirse completamente en casa. Pet friendly -masiamente importante para nosotros. Colmar es una joya medieval (Rick Stein lo amaba) - pero hay un E Leclerc que vende fabulosamente productos locales. En nuestra habitación, nos sentimos siempre muy valiosos.
