Before the pandemic, I used to write hotel reviews quite regularly. However, in recent years, most hotels I have stayed at have generally met my expectations in terms of service and hospitality, so I rarely felt compelled to write one. Modena by Fraser Bangkok, however, left me with no choice but to pick up my pen again. It was not because of grand luxury, but because of the warmth, sincerity, and thoughtful gestures that truly made me feel at home throughout my stay. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine smiles and warm greetings at the lobby. Check-in was smooth, efficient, and hassle-free, setting the tone for a wonderful stay. I booked a Deluxe King Room, and it certainly did not disappoint. The room was spacious, clean, well-appointed, and equipped with everything I needed. The amenities were excellent, but the highlight was undoubtedly the bed—it was incredibly comfortable and provided a great night's sleep after long days exploring Bangkok. The hotel's facilities were another highlight. Both the fitness centre and laundrette operate 24 hours a day, which is extremely convenient for travellers. The laundrette has three washing machines and three dryers. Washing costs THB 150 and drying costs THB 120. The washing machine automatically weighs your laundry, so the duration depends on the load. My four days' worth of clothes took about an hour to wash, while drying required the standard one hour. As someone who enjoys working out while travelling, I made full use of the gym every day. It exceeded my expectations, offering free weights, a Smith machine, resistance machines targeting different muscle groups, treadmills, and stationary bikes. It had everything I needed to stay active and maintain my fitness routine during the trip. Breakfast was another pleasant surprise. The selection was excellent, with many of the hot dishes and pastries changing daily, making each morning feel fresh and enjoyable. The location is also a major advantage. The hotel is located right next to the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre (QSNCC) MRT station and is only one stop from Sukhumvit Station, where Terminal 21 is located. It is also just two MRT stops from the Makkasan/Phetchaburi interchange for the Airport Rail Link, making travel to and from the airport very convenient. A 7-Eleven next to the hotel is another welcome bonus. Before I conclude, I would like to share one small incident that perfectly reflects the hotel's exceptional hospitality. On the second day of my stay, the light bulb at the room entrance stopped working. To me, this was simply normal wear and tear. I informed the front desk before heading out, and by the time I returned, the light bulb had already been replaced. The following day, after returning from my outing, I found a small towel elephant placed on my work desk, together with some snacks and a handwritten apology card from the hotel regarding the light bulb incident. I was genuinely touched. It was such a small gesture, yet it spoke volumes about how much the team cared about their guests. Throughout my travels, very few hotels have gone the extra mile in such a thoughtful and heartfelt way. Thank you, Modena by Fraser Bangkok, for making me feel genuinely valued and welcomed. Lastly, I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to the housekeeping team. Every day, I returned to a spotless, tidy, and welcoming room. It truly felt like coming home after a long day of sightseeing. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Modena by Fraser Bangkok to anyone planning a trip to Bangkok. With its excellent service, comfortable accommodation, well-equipped facilities, convenient location, and above all, a team that genuinely cares about its guests, this is a hotel I will gladly return to on my next visit.

The views from this hotel was stunning. Both inside in my room and all around the hotel campus you look directly into the heart of Bangkok and can see a good part of the city. Location wise travelers at this site are close to multiple local hotspots. In my case I enjoyed walking over to the waterfront where I took a river cruise into China town and spent most of my day there. It was pleasant to come back to a quiet room with a charming view after all the exploration and adventure. Inside my room everything was clean and with a touch of modern decoration and color. My bathroom included a spacious tub and my bed was very comfortable under the well regulated room air conditioning. I enjoyed being close to several shopping districts including Central World and Siam Paragon where I ended up walking to the next morning. I very much enjoyed the staff at this site with complements going to the bar crew. Both nights there I spent time enjoying a beer and discussing how local life was for these friendly and energetic folks. On my last morning I took part in the breakfast buffet and I was surprised to see how many options for food were available. Overall this was a great stay that I recommend and would gladly revisit upon my return.

Esta es mi segunda estancia y sigue ofreciendo una excelente relación calidad-precio. Sin duda, volveré a alojarme aquí cada vez que venga a Bangkok. Las vistas son geniales, el hotel es nuevo, el servicio es muy amable y la ubicación es buena, a medio camino entre el centro y el aeropuerto. Además, es muy cómodo si vas en coche porque el parking es gratuito.

Desventajas: 1. Está junto a un mercado de pescado, así que el olor a pescado es muy fuerte al entrar, pero desaparece una vez dentro. 2. No hay ascensor, así que llevar equipaje en un piso alto será difícil. Ventajas: La cama es enorme. La vista es increíble. Está situado junto al río Chao Phraya. Compro el desayuno y algo para picar a altas horas de la noche todos los días y subo a la azotea a comer y relajarme. Está a unos 8-10 minutos a pie de la estación de MRT, pero está convenientemente ubicado cerca del casco antiguo, el parque temático Asiatique y las paradas de barco. Hay restaurantes de buffet libre muy cerca; recuerda pedir un número primero y luego volver a relajarte.

Primera vez que me alojo en Somerset Rama 9 según la recomendación de mi amigo. ¡Las comodidades en la habitación ejecutiva son perfectas! Tiene todo lo que necesito. Aunque el desayuno es mejorable. La sección de fideos, la sección de pasteles y la sección de huevos para cocinar son buenas, pero la comida cocinada no es tan interesante. A mis 2,5 años les encanta la sala de juegos para niños. En general, mi familia y yo tuvimos una estancia estupenda aquí.

Tuvimos una estancia fantástica en el Ramada Plaza de Bangkok; sin duda, el mejor hotel en el que nos alojamos durante nuestro viaje. Desde el momento de nuestra llegada, el servicio fue excelente, con una cálida bienvenida y un detalle de bienvenida con aperitivos en recepción. El desayuno fue excepcional, con una amplia selección de opciones de alta calidad para todos los gustos. La ubicación también es ideal, y el servicio gratuito de transporte en barco hizo que desplazarse por la ciudad fuera fácil y agradable. En resumen, un hotel estupendo para empezar nuestras vacaciones. Lo recomendamos sin duda.

El hotel es nuevo y limpio. La piscina es preciosa y tiene una vista panorámica. El personal es amable y atento. La ropa de cama es cómoda y suave. Hay un Lawson en el hotel. El 7-Eleven más cercano está a unos 5-10 minutos a pie. No hay otros puestos en los alrededores. Sin embargo, hay otras tiendas en construcción. Se espera que esté más animado en el futuro. Salvo las molestias del transporte, todo lo demás es perfecto. Me gustaría volver a alojarme en este hotel.

El personal se reunió alegremente y se sentó en la habitación. El cuarto de la familia era espacioso y cómodo, la cama de ropa limpia y cristalina. El aire acondicionado era ruido y no había cojinete en el hotel. La comida era incómoda. De lo contrario todo estaba bien

Buen hotel. Sólo que todavía no he entendido la puerta: cómo cierra desde dentro y hubo problemas con la tarjeta llave, pero me la cambiaron. Todo bien. Una cama grande con un colchón suave, sábanas limpias y un olor delicioso. El balcón es amplio y tiene cenicero. Los muebles son bastante nuevos y hay un espejo grande. Hay algunos pequeños problemas con la ducha: la presión cambia constantemente sin mi intervención, y el agua a veces está caliente y a veces fría. Pero si te bañas, no tendrás ningún problema. El personal es amable y educado. Hay piscina, pero no nadé; el barrio con palomas no me gustó nada. La ubicación del hotel es excelente; hay muchas cafeterías alrededor, un 7/11 y el metro está cerca. El hotel está en un callejón tranquilo.
