Kefetew Guest House was our landing point for two days after arriving Ethiopia. Genet is a well-seasoned host, having lived and managed restaurants extensively in the U.S. before returning to her country of birth after the death of her father. As we were traveling with our two teeen daughters, we were covering a family room in the first floor. The room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was excellent with ample of hot water. What sets this guesthouse apart, however, is the quality of food. Genet and her kitchen crew manage the perfect fusion between traditional Ethiopian food and dishes that are more easy to the Western palate. As traditional food is healthy and tasty, you will get used to it very fast, but if you travel with children, Genet's kitchen is a very good starting point from a culinary perspective. I would also like to remark that we left two suitcases at Genet's house for a charity to pick up in the following days. Not only was this not a problem to Genet - she even gave us an update once the goods were collected. Kefetew Guest House is located at CMC road, which is quite a busy road leading to the airport. At night however, the neighbourhood is quiet. You might however get an early wake-up call by the muezzin of a mosque situated nearby. To us, this was not a disturbance, as we considered this an exotic increase of our vacation experience. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - We would like to add the following general observations which we found helpful at the time of our travelling through Ethiopia (April and May 2023). These observations are not related to above review, but should considered as additional input for readers considering to travel to and in Ethiopia: 1. At the time of this writing, Ethiopia still suffered from the consequences of two years of Covid and 16 months of civil war. Tourists were still scarce, therefore we were both regarded as a source of potential business and as a welcome change in perspective. The Ethiopians we met were friendly, open and curious. We responded friendly and open ourselves, but remained firm when things got too overwhelming. 2. The majority of Ethiopians are orthodox Christians with a minority of Muslims. Although people are tolerant and friendly, they take their religion seriously. When visiting churches and mosques, the tried to treat these institutions with utmost respect and dignity, also with our dress attire (no tank tops please). If visiting a church on Sunday, we would recommend buying a white shawl to cover shoulders and (women) head, they cost almost nothing, make a good souvenir and earn you the respect of other churchgoers. Most of the churches have guides eager to explain paintings and structures - and bear in mind: If a curtain is covering an entrance or a painting, it is there for a reason and not as an invitation to boldly go where no tourist went b

El lugar está bien para una noche o dos, especialmente si está en un layout. Se encuentra convenientemente en Bole cerca del aeropuerto y a algunos restaurantes y bares. Shuttle adicional 24/7. Desayuno disponible pero limitado. Las habitaciones están bien. El hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy cerca de la ciudad, y el hotel está muy cerca de la ciudad. La habitación es muy buena, pero no me gustaba que me reservase una suite (Genius upgrade de booking.com) pero cuando llegaba me dio una habitación estándar. La recepción no me informó de eso, me di cuenta cuando entré en la habitación. Así que parece que no querían darme la actualización de la habitación ... También les pregunté antes de mi llegada para comprobar un evento que se supone que ocurrirá en un hotel cercano la noche de mi llegada, pero nunca lo hicieron.

El hotel es un hotel agradable con instalaciones (agua caliente, confort de cama, Wi-Fi) en buen estado. También puede relajarse en la piscina o disfrutar del spa en el lugar. La tarifa de la habitación es significativamente inferior a las de otras marcas de hotel de nombre grande en Addis Abeba.

El techo del hotel de Aswa, las instalaciones están completas, basicamente no hay suficiente para satisfacer todas las necesidades, el tipo de habitación está orientado y configurado, las instalaciones son nuevas, el hotel está comiendo en todo el piso chino, el restaurante del segundo piso del primer piso contiene un saco, hay un spa chino, la sala de fitness del techo puede ver el panorama de la ciudad de As, Hay un campo de fútbol al lado para ver el juego.

El hotel está situado a unos 5 minutos en coche del aeropuerto de Bole, y está bien equipado y bien equipado con un agradable desayuno para su día. La habitación está muy bien, pero no hay nada que pueda hacer. La ubicación es en medio de restaurantes, tiendas, tiendas y más. Incluso un Burger King a un bloque. Hablar inglés era perfecto! La habitación estaba muy bien equipada con aguas, instalaciones y un baño muy bueno.

Es un hotel muy bien situado, instalaciones excelentes y personal muy atento.. El bar restaurante es excelente! Estuvimos alojados allí 11 días y comimos en el almuerzo y/o cena diariamente. La relación calidad precio es muy buena y se encuentra próximo a varios centros comerciales (Edna Mall, Morning Star). Hay actualmente una obra en progreso en la parte trasera por lo cual hubo algo de ruido durante el día pero nada que no vayas a encontrar en casi cada calle de Addis Ababa, una ciudad pujante y en desarrollo

El nuevo hotel es relativamente limpio y ruidoso al lado de la carretera. Las instalaciones son completas y el personal de recepción es muy bueno. Lo peor es la comida china. El restaurante chino en el piso negativo tiene muy poca gente y no dice cómo sabe. Los ingredientes son realmente frescos y a pescado. No sé cuánto tiempo se tardó en preparar el desayuno comida china y algo de comer patatas ralladas. Realmente recomiendo buffet.

El personal y los camareros son más amables. Primero saludarán cuando se encuentren. El buffet es más adecuado para los chinos. Las instalaciones de la habitación también son mejores. Es un hotel en el extranjero muy rentable. Todavía se recomienda el enchufe chino.
