Had a great experience staying in Smith Hotel baku.Very reasonable price and great service. All the staff is welcoming and co operative. Easy access to nearby malls, supermarkets and even restaurants.Rooms were spacious,cleaned and with nice decor.Delicious breakfast is served.In the same building there is supermarket and KFC and Heydar Ali Centre is just 5 minutes walk away. Highly recommend Smith Hotel if you plan to visit Baku,Azerbaijan

I chose this hotel because of the location, as it was close to the embassy where I needed to go, and it served my purpose. The streets around are very quiet, so no traffic noise. The room was fine for the price, spacious, good bed, clean, windows can be opened to let in air. The only problem, as others mentioned in the reviews, is that shower cabin leaks onto the floor, so the floor in the bathroom gets very wet and slippery. I did not try wi-fi or breakfast at this hotel, so cannot comment on that. 100 manat deposit was required when checking in even though room had been paid online. Maybe it's common pratice in AZ, I don't know.

Me disfruté de mi estancia 2 noches pero después de que mi viaje se ha colapsado. Me encerraron los empleados del hotel. No hay restaurante ni otra instalación, así que decidí cambiar mi moneda del hotel como el personal del hotel me sugirió, pero me dieron un alto precio por el dinero exagerado. No fue un problema porque necesitaba dinero. La gente en la zona de recepción vio cuánto dinero tengo y después de eso planearon atraparme. Un tipo vino a mí y su nombre es Ibrahim. Trabajando como gerente de escritorio frontal. El hotel está muy lejos de la actividad principal, pero a las 9:00 de la noche cuando termina su turno, me llevó a la calle Nizam en un club nocturno. Tenemos 2 cervezas y 3 vasos de whisky para las tres chicas, las chicas estaban sentadas en nuestra mesa. Disfrutamos de que 1 Sr. Entonces vino la cuenta y me sorprendió. When I checked in I was told the door is broken so I could not open it with the electronic key and they'll open it, but it's gonna be fixed the next day. Of course it was never fixed and I had to ask the staff to open it for me every time. Felt REALLY awkward. Then some day some random woman (she was working here I believe) just opened my door and walked in while I was in my room at midnight, saw me, said sorry and run away. What was that I have no idea, but it kinda gives you an idea about their take on privacy. The TV was not working, because the cable was literally torn apart, the WiFi broke down several times and one time it was more than 24 hours. The showerhead was broken, the water from the shower never went the way it supposed to, but straight to the floor, the toilet was not really attached to the floor (thankfully it was attached to communications). With that being said, I still think the hotel is okay for the price, the room was nice, big and clean and had a personal balcony and the staff were really friendly.

I had a business trip to this beautiful property in Baku. As far as I understood, it is newly rebranded hotel. I was staying in standard room. The room was spacious, but work desk was what I was looking for in order to work on my laptop. I contacted hotel staff and Mr. Ali Aliyev, who was on duty that day, promptly contacted me and offered me to change my room. But my room was enough comfortable for me, so we sorted out my issue by putting a chair and desk into my room. I was happy with the service and hospitality I faced, thanks to Mr. Ali and other hotel staff. Keep it up! Surely will come back again!

Perfect place if you are looking for a peaceful stay far from Baku city. This place is around 30 mins from Baku City Center and 10 mins from the Airport. We had arranged transportation in Baku, so commute to and from the hotel was not a problem. The hotel does arrange taxi for you if you request, but its recommended to use Bolt app to get around Baku by taxi. At the time of check in, the hotel reception asked us for our vaccination certificates, which was the only place that asked to see our vaccination status during our entire trip to Azerbaijan. Rooms are spacious and had a balcony. The rooms facing to the back of the hotel have amazing views of the golf course. Each room is allocated for 2 guests, so additional guest have to pay 10 manat per night and another 10 manat for an additional bed. The room has an expandable sofa, which can also double as a bed for the extra guest. We found the room AC, WiFi and shower facilities to be good. The rooms had no mini bar, but there is a common mini bar in the lobby next to the reception. The hotel seemed lavish in providing sanitary kits. It was also interesting that each room had a Lavazza coffee machine, but only 2 capsules were complementary. Dreamland Hotel did not have a swimming pool which was disappointing for the kids. Hotel guests can enjoy 1 hour free golf session at the Golf Academy located behind the hotel. We were a bunch of amateurs, but we still had fun taking turns swinging and missing, ball after ball. The hotel is located inside Baku Golf City, which is a massive area with golf greens, water bodies, lot of villas and apartment complexes. The hotel is around 1 km from the Dreamland Golf City main gate and once inside you could easily get lost. It would have been really nice if the hotel provided guests with free / rented bikes to get around the golf city. The golf city seemed to be well maintained and has good recreational facilities which included bike tracks, kids play area and fountains. There is also a Bazarstore mini supermarket (Open from 9am to 8:30pm) and ATM in front of the hotel. Breakfast is from 8am to 12 noon at the panorama restaurant on the ground floor. The free breakfast included with the room was a standard breakfast (no buffet) which includes an egg of your choice, bread basket and a plate with few veggies, fruits and some condiments. Our kids did not like the breakfast, so we had to order pancakes which costed around 7 ₼/plate. The breakfast selection was disappointing and that's where I drop a star for Dreamland Golf Hotel, it was so uninspiring that for the remaining days of our stay here, we had to search for alternative breakfast options. They could definitely improve their breakfast, because the same restaurant did serve some amazing food when we went there for dinner.

En general todo es bueno: desayuno normal (sí, la diversidad es pequeña si se queda por mucho tiempo, pero en una semana no tuve tiempo para sentir), habitación adecuada, Wi-Fi, excelente personal y precio. La habitación estaba un poco cansada (un par de puntos en el tapete, un tornillo), pero en el baño todo nuevo + actualizado regularmente los gastos y los muebles principales en excelente estado. El principal menos - ubicación: paradas de autobús que van desde/a el centro cerca y caminan a menudo OT, pero antes de que las paradas se apropien es necesario pasar por el auto estacionado en los servicios, los distribuidores de automóviles y las instalaciones de autobús. Como resultado, se fue al OT por la mañana y volvió a un taxi.

For tours, we have taken the help of Reception personnel in Baku and outside. We traveled by Taxi - best is to get a local SIM and download BOLT Application - not worth having a rented car especially at the rush hours... Airport is 20-25 min by car; pick-up and drop off from/to Airport was arranged by Reception personnel. Nice experience which we plan to repeat.

I stayed in a single room and it was small but enough for short stay. They provided sufficient amenities as well. The service was great. I arrived in the city early in the morning before the usual check-in time, so I was just going to leave my baggage without check-in. But the reception staff kindly allowed me to check-in before the usual time, so I was able to prepare in the room before I went sightseeing.

Really good location. Views at breakfast from the cafe are worth the stay alone. The rooms with balconies are worth paying more for. The rooms are clean. Staff are always attentive and helpful. Loved the true authentic Azeri experience over a chain hotel or upmarket boutique hotel. Really memorable hotel stay

I will start with what I like before even reaching to the hotel. After the booking i was contacted by Edwin to give me some advises about transportation and money exchange. Arriving to the hotel we were welcomed by Edwin at the door helped us with the luggage and giving us all the information about Baku , places to visit , restaurants and all what you need. The hotel is in very quiet area yet very near to all the atrocities and old city , we didn’t have to use transportation at all . The room is quite small but absolutely clean and looks like it’s brand new , tea and coffee and water bottles are available. We loved our stay there and I really don’t have words to thank Edwin for all his help and being so friendly all over our stay . Highly recommend it .

Pero lo que me hizo infeliz durante todo el viaje fue el servicio del hotel. Reservé tres noches consecutivas a través de Ctrip. No estaba seguro de haberme contactado con el hotel a través de Facebook para confirmar la reserva. El hotel respondió a la reserva y la recibió, pero cuando llegué al hotel más de las 11 pm el primer día, el hotel dijo que no había lugar para la primera noche y me envió al hotel de al lado. La puerta de al lado era solo una pequeña cama y desayuno. La habitación tenía menos de 10 metros cuadrados y tenía una cama doble. La caja de 29 pulgadas que traje no se pudo abrir por completo. Decepcionado en toda honestidad. La habitación en sí era como se esperaba, un diseño agradable y muy espacioso. Although the hotel is not in the heart of the city, the area is in a very pleasant residential quarter. There are good pubs, restaurants and pastry shops nearby. At night there is a grocery store and a pharmacy right next to the hotel. The rooms are clean and nice, the staff are very helpful in everything.

Excellent upmarket hotel. Very friendly staff, nothing too big or small. Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Missed a night so they gave us a complimentary upgrade to a suite facing the old town / overlooking the flame towers. Lovely room, cleaned twice per day and comfy beds. There’s a lovely bar on site which also had a pianist on the Friday evening; plus a whiskey/ cigar lounge which was pleasant. Drinks in both were great. Also used the room service option. Chocolate fondant was excellent, chicken sandwich average but a decent selection and prices of the mini bar fridge weren’t unreasonable. There is also a spa on site, although didn’t use it prices weren’t advertised and couldn’t find much online (even tried downloading the four seasons app). Did ring them to get prices but can’t recall what they are. The hotel also has an ATM which is really handy as taxis are predominantly cash based if you use the Bolt app to get a driver. You can also rent scooters to get around the city which are a very short walk away from the hotel (and worth it considering the traffic!). Felt very safe here and would definitely return back to the same hotel again.
