The location of the hotel is very close to ShenYang North Station, about 6 mins walk from the same side of the block (without crossing the roads) but that is the entrance/exit with the stairs. Not very elderly/wheelchair friendly. The current hotel setup is a revamp/office building block with another hotel brand that is facing the main road and the amenities are pretty well and standard. There isn't an exact drop off point, so you have to hop-on/hop-off the taxi/Didi quite fast. Overall good place to hit the sack and call it a day after a good whole day touring around town.

Hotel room is clean. Bed is comfortable. Everything In the room seemed new. Super nice and comfortable. One set-back hotel did not provide disposable sleepers. I could not find it anywhere in the room. I thought this was a standard item in every hotel now. Counter service staffs seemed okay except for a few who are not very helpful. Presumably not knowledgeable. Hotel location is not good. It is away from Railway Station and especially Metro Station. As I rely on subway train or public bus alot to get around as a budget traveller and to blend in into their local life.. And I find it not convenient to get around for sightseeing and others.

La habitación es muy grande, con la estación de tren en la parte de atrás, pero no se escucha ningún sonido cuando la ventana está cerrada. Dormí muy bien por la noche, el aire acondicionado enfría y la temperatura se puede ajustar a voluntad. El servicio de recepción es muy bueno, estoy muy satisfecho👍
Está muy cerca de la estación de Dalian, a solo unos pasos. Es muy conveniente tomar un autobús. Hay una estación de metro en la puerta y hay muchas paradas de autobús, por lo que el transporte es conveniente.

The Zhonglian Hotel is one of the best-located hotels in Dandong, sitting right on the Yalu River with direct views of the Broken Bridge and even across to North Korea. The hotel is older and a bit dated, but it is well maintained and clean. The rooms are comfortable, and the vintage décor gives an old-time atmosphere that makes the stay unique.
Breakfast is available with both Chinese and some Western choices, though the variety could be improved . Staff are polite and helpful, and the riverside location makes it easy to enjoy evening walks or explore nearby restaurants.

Love the hotel so much as it is very near to Zhongjie and East Zhongjie. The bed is so comfortable and I love that they provide 2 types of pillows. The room is well maintained and very clean. They came to clean my room and change my towels everyday which is very nice. Staff were super friendly and they greet you no matter what time you go out or come back. I had a little souvenir from the nice lady at front desk when I check out. Love the gesture. One thing I would love to have is a fridge in the room else I can’t even have ice cold beer after shower.

VVyyc94Ok, location is good, because all the luxury brands are directly downstairs, but hey if you're not there to splurge, no point~ because getting to other popular shopping malls or tourist attraction, there's just no advantage. You may think you get VIP or warm greeting service, but honestly... only if you're lucky AND SEEN and if it's like from 12pm to 3pm? Cause i think that's when their staffs are alert. Next on, check-in is normal, nothing special, remember to pay a deposit. Next on, going to your room, someone will help you with your luggage to your room, which is great, because the floor is so carpeted it is hard to drag the luggage if it's really huge and heavy. Next on, the room... I have so much to comment. First of all, furniture looks old. Toilet is great (+1 point) because it is indeed the biggest and most spacious one i have seen. The cleaning folks does a good job cleaning the toilet BUT! i just cannot understand why can't they just change the smelly damped pillows???????? it's already there when we first checked in. It smells horrible, like your teenage cousin's wet sock after soccer practise in a shoe that never dried after washing. Gross! The really funny part is, you would imagined for such a huge room, the TV would be reasonably sized considering the distance from the bed. HAHAHHAHA, it's so small. I finally understand what it means by 'when someone is speechless, they really would laugh'. 人在无语的时候真的会笑. Like, you are a 5 star luxurious hotel but you can't give a bigger TV that has more modern functions???? Am i still living in the 2000s? Ok fine, maybe they have no budgets for upgrade, fine... It's not like we travel halfway across the globe to watch TV in bed. Next, TAKEAWAYS. Like this really made me so angry, they literally take no responsibility in helping you bring up the food. I mean I don't mind going down to take it myself but let me know i have to! They literally left my stuff there 30 mins until i called them. And the ridiculous part was the delivery guy actually took a photo to show me how he had already passed it to a staff and informed them to deliver it up! Next, their restaurant. Paid for a course meal, and instead of the dishes being served up one after another, they served everything up at one go... wow, ok fine no big deal. BUT dessert took 30 mins and not served. Do you know what is a coursed meal? Do you need to retrain your staffs? Do you think we could have finished the dishes so quickly? Aren't we supposed to savour the dishes and take our time because your head chef took time to design the menu and wine pairings? Like your service really defeats all purpose of us opting to have dinner there. So the irony is we were rushed through our food; we literally felt like we had to speed up because what if the dishes went cold. Then they took forever to serve dessert and we already told them we need had a movie coming up and we were running late. BAD SERVICE.
Overall, my review for this hotel is that, you're lucky you HAD GOOD REPUTATION & BRANDING in the past, but you are FRAILING. You do not deserve 5 star in almost all areas non-related to location. Yes, you may be considered luxurious because you're at the most prime area of Shenyang but so what? Your service and facilities are at most mid-range 4 star. Even 4 star hotels now have robots that would deliver takeaways and TV bigger than yours, and their pillows are clean, what an absolute joke. OK, maybe let's not get so negative, last redeeming factor: you do have a nice view of the city. For service, you may want to learn from your peers like Sofitel, Atour or Serendipidia. You're welcome.

HhidinginplainsightWe had to scramble to Jinzhou due to medical emergency from overseas. We happened to book this hotel in a great hurry and it was truly the only thing that helped us preserve our sanity at a very fraught time.
It was also our first time using trip.com as I could not find much options in Jinzhou on ***********, my long time app of choice. I was worried about how things would turn out since I didn't know if I could trust trip.com or fully research my options as we had to rush to pack as well. As it turned out, I'm 100% sure that no other hotel in 4th tier Jinzhou city could have given us the experience, comfort and ambience that Manxin Hotel did. I don't say that lightly as a seasoned international traveller who's stayed at many types of hotels/guesthouses/motels over the years, it takes *a lot* to impress us enough to earn my praise and endorsement in a review.
Manxin Hotel felt like a small boutique hotel feel with 3 floors of rooms. It was only opened in Jan 2024, so it really feels nice and new with a high ceiling foyer /lounge area. The rooms are huge with huge floor to ceiling windows. Although it's next to a train station, the triple glazed windows amazingly cut out most of the noise. The beds were very comfortable, with great toiletries, great Laifun hairdryer and free drinks replenished daily. Even the tea bags they provided were of great quality. We stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks so we were very happy to be able to use the complimentary washing machine service which saved me the hassle of having to hand wash my clothes daily in my room! There were some drainage issues in the shower but the hotel staff did try to sort out the problem. There's also a spacious gym available for those who are fitness fanatics. The hotel breakfast had great variety with quality coffee (not easy to find good coffee in China).
They even had a singer in the foyer 3 nights a week. Though I usually love listening to live music, the singers were students who were not quite able to deliver a performance befitting the old world charm and ambience of the hotel foyer.
Any hotel can have the best of facilities but often fall short on the service front. Since we were staying there for 2 weeks, we often had to deal with the hotel staff on a daily basis. We found them to be very competent, sincere, friendly, understanding and helpful for the most part, willing to do all that they could to assist us during our time of considerable distress and strain due to our family emergency. Even the housekeeping staff and the lady clearing plates in the breakfast area were warm and helpful!
As foreigners , we would sometimes need help with paperwork, scanning, photocopying, and other assistantance communicating with the outside world to make arrangements for international medical evacuation, WeChat/Alipay tutorials etc. We will always be grateful to the staff for all their efforts to assist in our time of need. In particular, we would like to thank Sales manager XY Yang and duty manager Hong for their tireless assistance and consideration.
If we were to go to Jinzhou again, Manxin hotel would absolutely be our only choice.

CCameo19La marina es un pequeño taxi de corta duración 10-15. Este hotel es como un antiguo hotel de estilo chino, es de gran tamaño y se mantiene en una buena condición, pero se reúne con muebles de madera oscura y no en consonancia con la alta expectativa de un Intercontinental, especialmente en comparación con otras ciudades. La habitación tiene un olor extraño, y la distribución del desayuno es limitada, incluso en el salón del club. En el positivo, la sala ejecutiva es un buen tamaño, el baño es enorme, la ducha es poderosa, la condición está bien, la cama y las galletas son cómodas, no hay máquina de café, pero el acceso gratuito al salón con té de la tarde en los dos días y la hora feliz donde se sirve comida . La piscina es grande y hasta 1.8m profunda. El precio es relativamente bueno, así que en general fue agradable. Gracias también a Grace que me dio un cheque tarde y un magneto. Espero que reconstruyan el hotel pronto, ya que podría ser mejor, a través de él no es tan malo éter.

What truly set this stay apart was the exceptionally helpful management. They made me feel genuinely welcome and went out of their way to ensure all my needs were met. SSeanchorSe trata de un raro hotel castillo de estilo europeo puro con una ubicación muy buena, a tiro de piedra de la plaza Xinghai. Es muy conveniente para comer y viajar, y hay autos especiales que te recogen y te bajan de la montaña. La habitación es muy grande. La habitación con vistas al mar está orientada al puente que cruza el mar y la vista es muy impactante. Las instalaciones internas son un poco antiguas, pero en general bien. El servicio es cálido y atento. El vestíbulo es magnífico e impresionante. Por la tarde también se realizan actuaciones interactivas para niños. Hay varios ascensores en el vestíbulo y es fácil perderse. La calidad del desayuno es media, salvo el alto precio, todo lo demás es satisfactorio.

😴 Best sleep I’ve had in ages
Honestly, I don’t remember the last time I slept so well. I got almost 10 hours of uninterrupted sleep, the room was quiet, perfectly cool, and the blackout curtains made the room completely dark, which I loved.
Also, they offer an a la carte menu and even late-night service, which is super handy if you’re up late or get in hungry.

One of the highlights of my stay: hit the sauna for about 20 minutes, then followed it up with a relaxing massage right there in the hotel. Total game changer 💯 I left feeling completely recharged.
🏊♂️ as for the pool, I tried to go around three times… but it seems that the hotel rent it to swimming classes for kids?? So it was always full of kids which it’s fine but consider it if as myself this amenity was crucial for me to book the hotel
🍳 Breakfast could be better
This is where things fell a bit short. The breakfast area is… kind of random? It’s in a hallway on the second floor, and the setup felt temporary. Not much variety, and there are no small tables, just big shared ones for about 10 people. A little awkward if you’re alone or just want a quiet breakfast. (I’ll include a pic)

一樓電梯旁邊擺着大連旅行地圖很實用，下樓就是東關歷史文化街區，現在東關街是年輕人聚集地，好吃好玩好逛超方便～

Perhaps these are why hotel seems to attract a lot of customers (many group bookings). Room's big, quiet, and comfortable with city skyline (and palatial grounds) view and comes with expected amenities and features. (The big screen TV has many selections, even CGTN English news and documentary channels^) Staff: Fantastic and motivated, all working as efficiently as possible, given constraints posed by the constantly heavy customer traffic and turnover rate, and eager to accommodate customers' needs. Special mention goes to Mr. Kevin Lee, Mr. Kang and others at the reception for their proactive hotelier courtesy, rising above language barrier, and their patience dealing with all types of customers. Excellent breakfast in quality, variety and taste - better than those in most other chain hotels in China. Lastly, I've read the reviews on this hotel before coming to stay. There now are 3 elevators serving all floors, and, yes, breakfast still tends to be congested. But, just remember that this is an ageing, busy, hotel attracting a lot of customers (of various educational levels and manners) at the heart of the most popular tourist center, not a luxury resort that comes with commensurate premium in price. Best bang for the buck, if the described hotel conditions are right for you!
