The Xihe Hotel is really great! The rooms are spacious and clean, the front desk service is excellent, and the value for money is high. It's definitely worth recommending.

Overall a good place with a bright design. Location is about 20-25 minutes walking from the train station or 15 minutes from the metro station with a direct link to the airport. It is foreigner friendly, since the friendly staff knows some English or tries to communicate via online translator. The bed was very comfortable, Aircon worked for cooling, WiFi was fast. Two minor flaws: drainage in the shower didn't work well and there was some weird smell in the room when I arrived, but nothing too serious. The breakfast is not a buffet. You'll be served a tray with some food as shown on photo. If you like chicken feet and a prawn in rice porridge for breakfast, you'll love it :) On the flip side, they push you hard to leave them a 5* review when you check out. They even have a special manual for that in several languages. This spoils the overall good impression. In any case, I can recommend this place.

Very comfortable hotel right beside Dalian Railway Station Subway Station. The bed is surprisingly comfortable and the room is very big. However, there is no hot water which can be tough especially in the winter. That said, for the price, there really is nothing to complain about.

Tuve una estancia muy agradable. La habitación del hotel era estupenda, y había lavadoras y secadoras gratuitas en el segundo piso, además de paletas heladas gratis. La recepcionista fue muy amable y servicial. ¡Sin duda volvería!

This hotel offers incredible views over the river and into North Korea!! Each room also comes with a set of binoculars so you can get a closer look if you'd like. It was a very luxurious hotel but a friend found a few bugs (earwigs) in their room and that was a little off putting. We didn't eat the food there since it was. a bit expensive for our budget. Since we mainly booked this hotel for its location, it gets a 5/5 for that. As for everything else.... it was all right.
