I am glad I didn’t pay full price ($350/night) for this. Great location and everything looks nice from the outside and the lobby. The room is decent from the looks but once you stay in there, you will realized nothing is working properly. The AC/Heater was not working, the control for the AC/Heater doesn’t work so the AC was blasting cold air all night on NYE!!! So we were both freezing and it was 2am! The TV only have 5 channels and 2 are the same as the other 2, so in reality only 3 channels. The TV quality is also very outdated. Feel like we were watching TV from the 80s/90s when it was the actual 2024 NYE concerts. And on the 5th channel, it is just showing how DirectTV subscription is expired, like what? The Wifi in the room is not free unless you are a Bonvoy member. There was less than a quarter roll of toilet paper on the Tp dispenser and they also didn’t provide a second roll. The body wash pump was empty and the shampoo ran out. The bottom side of the toilet seat looks very filthy as if they haven’t clean that part of the toilet seat in a while. The floor of the bathroom was also very dirty. We usually check if we can ask for a late check-out the night before, but we called the front desk with no answers. When they finally answered, they said we have to call back at 7am to let us know. Ehh Hello? The whole point of getting a late check out is so we can sleep in? So I had to set an alarm to call back at 7am to get a 1pm check out. It was a bit annoying. This was a big disappointment for me because this was supposed to be a nice hotel from Marriott as the Autograph Collection. Especially for $350 a night in the middle of Old Town Alexandria, I had expected better quality. Not to mention the chaos during check-in. Seems like there were only 4 workers there for HUNDReDs of customer. People were angry about being stuck in the parking garage and no one can help them and they gave a lady a room that currently already have someone checked-in. Apparently the lady opened the door when the guy was showering in the room. What a chaos!

I arrived on a very early flight and was completely exhausted. I asked the hotel if it was possible to check in early, and luckily, they had a room available and let me check in right away. I was so grateful to be able to take a shower and get some rest. The hotel facilities are older than I expected, but everything I needed was there. Overall, I really appreciated their kindness and flexibility.

Estaba en la ciudad por 2 conciertos una noche y la otra se sentó todo el día. Iniciar sesión fue suave debido a las reservas. Las habitaciones estaban limpias y el hotel en general. Yo estaba allí antes del 23 de marzo, así que sabía qué esperar.

El servicio es muy bueno, la habitación también está limpia y la cama de cama puede ver el sol. Lo siento porque hay actividades nocturnas, el camarote debe recoger el terreno y no puede ver el paisaje en la parte superior.

Over all ,this is and older hotel, but it appears to be taken care of, the rugs in the halls were nice and clean. Getting into the room was a problem, you had to put the room key into the slot many times before you would get a green light to enter. This was every time you went into the room. It took 10-15 minutes for the shower water to get warm/hot, every time. I purchased a king size bed but was put in a room with two double beds. They claimed that all the king size were booked. I showed them my confirmation of a king size being booked but they said there was nothing they could do since no king size beds were available. The price was very reasonable

La habitación era limpia en general, la cama era cómoda. El baño no estaba a mis estándares, alrededor del duche había construido suciedad y el interior del duche. El piso no estaba en el baño en absoluto. La cama de sofá se rompió, así que mi hija y yo tuve que hacer la cama para que se fijara... en general una buena estadía.

La habitación es muy buena, el servicio es muy bueno, el transporte es conveniente y el entorno seguro. En resumen, la sensación general es muy buena, ha vivido muchos días y dormir la noche también es perfumable. Por lo tanto, se recomienda

El hotel es un poco difícil de llegar y puede utilizar mejor señales en las salas, ascensores, carreteras, etc. La cama estaba cómoda, estaba en la habitación 419 y el espejo de vanidad se rompió en un lado, y el duche mostró signos de molde. La habitación estaba limpia todos los días, pero no me dieron más cafeteras. La mayor denuncia es que solicité un check-out tardío durante la reserva, en el check-in y la mañana de salida. Cuando lo hice, me dijeron unas disculpas por qué no pudieron hacerlo. Por eso, me siento como si no pudiera confiar en el personal del escritorio delantero. Probablemente no me reservaría aquí otra vez.

Como antes había estado en otras casas de la cadena, el tabla de medida estaba encima. Esta casa no podía viajar, se quedó por debajo de las expectativas. La habitación que utilicé era bastante pequeña, así como el baño. Fue muy tranquilo y limpio, pero parecía desagradable, como la presentación del desayuno. No existe una manera seguramente interesante de lavarse los lavabos para los huéspedes que se van; ya que el recepcionista no estaba fuera de la zona, no podía dar información sobre los lavabos.

On the positive side, the location is excellent - in a peaceful neighborhood, yet I was in easy walking distance to the Convention Center and lots else, with a centrol location for pretty much wherever you’d like to go, as well as decent parking options.  It is also a lovely historic property full of character.  On the flip side of being old, it seems that every door sticks when you try to open or close it and it is not friendly for those who need accessibility, with stairs here and there you have to lug your suitcase up.  Back on the bright side, the little black cat who hangs out around the place is adorable and sweet and made my day whenever I ran into it.
