Room is spacious and for the price was a great deal (although noted I was visiting during shoulder season). Beautiful views of the mountain range from the hotel’s lounge on a clear day. I enjoyed the afternoon wine tastings. The muscat grape juice was also delicious! A very nice and relaxing stay at this hotel. It is quite far from the station though, so best to have a car to get to the hotel and get around.

I absolutely love Hanabishi Hotel — I had the best 2-night stay here. The hotel is quiet with no large tour groups, and I really enjoyed the traditional feel and relaxing vibes. I tried all of their room types, and my favorite is the futon room with a private onsen. The futon is very comfortable, and the room itself is incredibly spacious. The staff are friendly and helpful, even assisting me with arranging taxi service. The location is convenient, only about a 10-minute drive from Hakodate Airport. I also loved both the breakfast buffet and the dinner set — they truly pampered me like I was the queen of the world. The public onsen is beautiful and huge. I will forever choose to stay here whenever I’m in the area.

Excellent onsen with very nice private onsen in the room surrounded by Sakura trees. Very nice omakase dinner served in room, excellent service from the team. Lounge area serving beer, sparkling wines and other non alcoholic beverage all inclusive in the package price is a nice touch. Highly recommended

Este es un hotel muy nuevo. Está totalmente equipado en una habitación con microondas y lavavajillas. 5 minutos a pie de la parada de autobús. Un lugar muy relajado si quieres tener vacaciones pacíficas. El personal es muy amable y agradable. Claro que volverá.

Excellent traditional ryokan near Hell Valley! We had a wonderful half-board (half-board/one-night two-meals) stay here. While it is a bit pricey, it was worth it for the private in-room onsen, and the public hot springs were also incredibly relaxing. As a traditional Japanese ryokan, the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The location is fantastic—very close to Noboribetsu Hell Valley and the nearby shopping area. The service was also excellent; since we arrived early, they kindly allowed us to check in ahead of time. Free parking is available; while the lot didn't look huge, it seemed sufficient for guests (though we can't say for sure since we arrived early). Highly recommended!
