We had to scramble to Jinzhou due to medical emergency from overseas. We happened to book this hotel in a great hurry and it was truly the only thing that helped us preserve our sanity at a very fraught time. It was also our first time using trip.com as I could not find much options in Jinzhou on ***********, my long time app of choice. I was worried about how things would turn out since I didn't know if I could trust trip.com or fully research my options as we had to rush to pack as well. As it turned out, I'm 100% sure that no other hotel in 4th tier Jinzhou city could have given us the experience, comfort and ambience that Manxin Hotel did. I don't say that lightly as a seasoned international traveller who's stayed at many types of hotels/guesthouses/motels over the years, it takes *a lot* to impress us enough to earn my praise and endorsement in a review. Manxin Hotel felt like a small boutique hotel feel with 3 floors of rooms. It was only opened in Jan 2024, so it really feels nice and new with a high ceiling foyer /lounge area. The rooms are huge with huge floor to ceiling windows. Although it's next to a train station, the triple glazed windows amazingly cut out most of the noise. The beds were very comfortable, with great toiletries, great Laifun hairdryer and free drinks replenished daily. Even the tea bags they provided were of great quality. We stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks so we were very happy to be able to use the complimentary washing machine service which saved me the hassle of having to hand wash my clothes daily in my room! There were some drainage issues in the shower but the hotel staff did try to sort out the problem. There's also a spacious gym available for those who are fitness fanatics. The hotel breakfast had great variety with quality coffee (not easy to find good coffee in China). They even had a singer in the foyer 3 nights a week. Though I usually love listening to live music, the singers were students who were not quite able to deliver a performance befitting the old world charm and ambience of the hotel foyer. Any hotel can have the best of facilities but often fall short on the service front. Since we were staying there for 2 weeks, we often had to deal with the hotel staff on a daily basis. We found them to be very competent, sincere, friendly, understanding and helpful for the most part, willing to do all that they could to assist us during our time of considerable distress and strain due to our family emergency. Even the housekeeping staff and the lady clearing plates in the breakfast area were warm and helpful! As foreigners , we would sometimes need help with paperwork, scanning, photocopying, and other assistantance communicating with the outside world to make arrangements for international medical evacuation, WeChat/Alipay tutorials etc. We will always be grateful to the staff for all their efforts to assist in our time of need. In particular, we would like to thank Sales manager XY Yang and duty manager Hong for their tireless assistance and consideration. If we were to go to Jinzhou again, Manxin hotel would absolutely be our only choice.

This is an instagrammable hotel that offers quality service. From checking in to checking out you will be assisted by the staff. There is an open beach a few steps away with 2-3 cafe shops. One of them is Caan. The buffet breakfast offers delicious western and Chinese breakfast. The rooms are nicely designed with a balcony overlooking the beach. Snacks and drinks are also offered for free including a welcome fruit plate. Toiletries are of quality and smells really good. Japanese toilet is another plus! The bed and pillows are all comfortable. They also offer activities like boat and paddle board riding. If u need help with anything including attractions to see, they have a wechat account and they respond quick. I highly recommend this place if you want a more quiet place to stay. And of course the private beach front setup is so relaxing and offers a great view both day and night!

I stayed at Atour Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, very clean, and well maintained. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly, polite, and always willing to help. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its location. You can easily walk to the Old Town directly from the back of the hotel, which makes sightseeing extremely convenient. It’s perfect for exploring the area on foot and enjoying the local atmosphere. Although the hotel is a bit far from the metro station, it wasn’t an issue for us since we mainly used Didi for transportation, which was very convenient and saved a lot of time. I also loved the cozy library corner and the complimentary coffee area, which made the hotel feel warm and relaxing. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay here and would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit.

Great location is close to metro station, eateries, and imperial museum. Hotel personnel are friendly. Hotel is an older building, and need to be renovated. There is sewer odor in elevator, and hall. Lighting in hall is dim. Breakfast offers a variety of food and fruits. Room is clean and average size. 

I visited Dalian on April 28, 2026, for a 1-night, 2-day trip with China Southern Airlines. I arrived at the hotel about an hour before check-in and asked the front desk if early check-in would be possible, as I planned to leave my luggage and go sightseeing. At that time, a staff member named Leo Liu warmly welcomed me and assisted me in fluent Korean and English. Thanks to him, the check-in process was very smooth, and he even upgraded my room. I was very happy to stay in such a wonderful room during my trip. He also kindly offered complimentary breakfast, which I truly enjoyed. In addition, he explained nearby sightseeing spots in detail using a map, which was very helpful for my trip. Leo Liu was extremely kind, attentive, and proactive in understanding what guests need. His thoughtful service made my stay in Dalian truly enjoyable and memorable. If I visit Dalian again in the future, I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again. La ubicación fue buena, a unos 7 minutos a pie de la salida B de Qing Nian Da Jie (hay un acorto para cortar a través de un edificio, que verá a la izquierda). En general, es fácil de acceder a algunas de las famosas calles y zonas como Zhong Jie, Gu Gong (palácio), y también es fácil cambiar el tren a otras líneas. Tomar Didi es menos recomendado porque me pareció que el tráfico en general es bastante pesado, el transporte público es más conveniente. Si la condición de carretera es buena, se llevará unos 20 minutos al aeropuerto internacional del hotel.

10 minutos a pie de la estación de alta Express al hotel. Sólo una carretera directa y muy conveniente. Servicio de comida buena. Bteakfast es bastante sabor local con mucha variedad. Nos quedamos por 3 noches en el piso más alto y muy silencioso. No hay refrigerador, pero está bien para nosotros esoecialmente en invierno.

A truly amazing vintage gem in Dalian – Moroccan charm and wonderful service 🥰 I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Dalian. The service was incredible – the staff are so nice, welcoming, and always cheerful with a smile, especially at breakfast. That alone made me feel so comfortable. What I loved most was the style of the hotel. It’s not the usual modern look – it has an antique, vintage feel with carpets, little lamps hanging everywhere, and a beautiful style. The decorations reminded me of things I’ve seen in Morocco – truly beautiful. The food was good, the bed was super comfortable, and the vintage details in the rooms are consistent with the rest of the hotel – same lovely style throughout. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves character, warmth, and great service.

I booked the hotel off season and it was a really good money for value ratio. The staff was friendly and helpful when approached with requests etc. It is quite convenient that there is a coffeeshop located in the lobby with wifi, power sockets etc, ideal for a chill work break in between traveling.
