Picked here cause the location is awesome. Visiting again and everything was expected, only very minor issues like fighting for a car park, slight shower damage and co fusing layout. But it dint deter from a nice night sleep and free brekkie before heading out. The best part is still the location, you’re inside a national park!

El aire acondicionado parecía de segunda mano en el mercado, y hacía un ruido terrible, como una montaña rusa. Recuerda traer tus propias zapatillas y cepillo de dientes. Es solo un lugar para dormir; no te hagas ilusiones. Dormir allí una noche me hizo revivir toda la miseria que he experimentado. Me duché al día siguiente, de vuelta en mi hotel en Melbourne. Por el precio de este lugar habría conseguido un hotel decente en Melbourne. En realidad, la mayoría de los alojamientos en Apollo Bay son similares, con opciones limitadas. Las pensiones con vistas son aún más caras.

Estaba en una ubicación increíble, a un minuto a pie de los fuegos artificiales de Año Nuevo. Pizzería, cafetería, bares, Woolies, Aldi, justo al lado del edificio y el centro comercial Dockland a 3 minutos a pie. El aparcamiento público está a 2 minutos a pie. Los apartamentos tienen aparcamiento propio de pago. Servicio de atención al cliente 24/7. Un lugar totalmente seguro. Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra estancia. Las camas de las habitaciones estaban bien, pero el sofá cama no era cómodo; se sentían los muelles pinchándose en la espalda. Éramos 5 personas, así que necesitábamos una cama supletoria, lo cual fue una decepción.

We stayed one night at the Sandpiper Motel in Apollo Bay during peak season. On the positive side, the room was exceptionally clean, and the embroidered details on the bedding, pillow slips, and face towel were a lovely touch that added a sense of care and thoughtfulness to the decor. However, our stay was not without its issues. Room 5; Throughout the night, there was a persistent high-pitched noise whenever water was used in our block of rooms, which disrupted our sleep, not helpful if you are a light sleeper. This was particularly disappointing given the cost of over 500 NZD for one night. Additionally, while the self-check-in process was efficient, the lack of any staff presence left the motel feeling impersonal and made it impossible to seek assistance when needed. For example, there was no way to address the plumbing issue or request additional items like more face towels during our stay. While we appreciated the cleanliness and the attention to detail in the room design, these other factors made the experience less enjoyable than we had hoped. We hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.

Great stay in a super convenient location The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed and everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel itself is well maintained, quiet, and feels like a great balance between business-friendly and leisure-ready. Staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful from check-in to check-out, which always makes a big difference. Overall, great value for money in a central location. I’d happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Melbourne for work or a short city break 😊

Room next door were slamming doors, swearing, & fighting at 12.30am this went on until approx 4.00am complained to management, only to be informed that the culprits were evicted hours earlier that’s contrary to us who were kept awake through the night and the early hours of the morning. Management offered $100 discount for our next stay, doubt whether we will ever use it not Happy or Satisfied with the outcome

I arrived at late check-in time on 2/11 Sunday and Mildua Inlander's staff was after office hour so I contacted to staff for room check-in by phone call, Staff are so helpful to help me to collect the room key and required admin work. However, due to the resort's layout and my room location(my room is ROOM 90), the circulation of the hotel is not poor, poor room ordering(it is not by 101 for on 1/F like typical hotel, it is using 1-50 for G/F, 51-100 for level 1; if 101-110 for block 1, 121-129 for block 2, 131-139 for block 3, 141-150 for block 4 would be better), no coherent corridor at the end, not much signage and map/easy to miss, no Lift or easy ramp for level 1. so, it is hard to find my room and poor experience before entry the room. Room is good for me. One thing is: can consider to have openable window after the mosquito net on the balcony sliding door if I don't want to turn on the air-conditioner.
