I'm a british traveller with a Chinese wife. I'm mostly located in China and I speak the language. Hunchun is near to Russia and most of the guests were Russian. Some of the staff can speak a few words of Russian but not much. And no English! The Hotel itself is modern, clean and very technically equipped. The toilet seat is heated, and it flushes itself. The shower took a bit of working out, but once I had mastered it, it was possibly the best shower I'd had in years. The shower is partitioned from the rest of the toilet, which isn't always the case in China. There's an AI person who greets you in Chinese when you enter, but we couldn't work out what the purpose of this was. It didn't understand English and my wife couldn't get a lot of sense out of it in Chinese. But everything else worked, including the curtains which opened and closed remotely. The TV was large and of an excellent quality. The bed was firm, but not hard like some Chinese beds can be, and we slept very comfortably. The breakfast was OK, but nothing special. My wife and I are diabetic, so we avoid sweet things. Although there was plenty of meat, vegetables and eggs to keep us going for the day, there was only sweetened coffee, sweetened milk tea and I think sweetened soy milk, in the drinks machine. We managed to get plain hot water out of the machine, but there was only paper cups provided, which was a disappointment considering the price we'd paid and the excellent standard of everything else. I would suggest a coffee machine and milk available at breakfast, and maybe a hot water urn and some tea bags. And some proper cups! I think a place of such good quality deserves a bit more of a variety of food. It was OK, but not great. Disappointing. For people on a low budget (like we were) one should bear in mind that the location isn't very central and it's a bus ride and a 25 minute walk, from the high speed rail station. Taxis are not very expensive but we don't have much money so we got local buses which are not very frequent. So I consider the location to be the most disappointing aspect of this hotel. Everything else was either fine, or excellent. We would definitely consider going there again in the future. It was also the only hotel that has allowed us the late checkout which I've been promised by Trip.com. Thank you!

My room at Hanting Hotel was cozy and adequately furnished. The bed was comfortable, offering a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. However, I did notice that the room lacked proper sound insulation, as I could hear noises from the hallway and neighboring rooms. This impacted my sleep quality slightly. The cleanliness of the room was generally satisfactory, although there were a few areas that could have been better maintained. The bathroom, while functional, could benefit from some upgrades to enhance the overall experience. In terms of amenities, Hanting Hotel provided basic facilities such as Wi-Fi, which was reliable and allowed me to stay connected throughout my stay. However, I found the lack of a mini-fridge or a coffee/tea maker in the room to be a drawback, as it limited my convenience and comfort. One aspect that stood out during my stay was the hotel's breakfast. The buffet offered a variety of dishes, catering to both local and international palates. The food was delicious, fresh, and served with a friendly smile from the staff. Overall, Hanting Hotel offered a decent stay with its convenient location, friendly staff, and tasty breakfast. However, improvements in sound insulation, room cleanliness, and inclusion of additional room amenities would greatly enhance the overall experience.

Me quedé a Vladivostok, pero fue agradable estar cerca de la estación de autobús en el centro de Yanji. Y no puedo hablar chino, pero el jefe escribió un traductor y me dijo muy amablemente. La habitación era limpia y muy atractiva.

Even tho we booked a windowless room, we were quite surprised how comfortable we were during our 3 nights stay here. The beds are super soft and the rooms are very spacious, comes with heater and a humidifier. The bathroom is the best with electrical hot water and a heating system. The furnitures are all very new and the place is generally quite clean There’s free pick up and drop off services from the railway station to the hotel. As a foreigner it was still easy to contact them via trip.com internet call, and follow up via WeChat. Once at the hotel the location is great it’s within walking distance to the main food areas and 5mins walk to the bus stop (free bus!) that brings you to the Changbaishan North slope center. - remember to book your tickets in advance! Overall will easily recommend to stay here if you’re visiting Changbaishan :)

I had a great time in Yánjí since I planned a lot of border excursions. I can speak both Korean and Chinese comfortably to navigate this region, which is also known as the Third Korea. The location of this place was great since it was in the city center across from Yanji University. (I was assigned room 1206.) I'm not sure which photos they're using for advertising, but my room looked far more beat up and outdated. I also killed a lot of small cockroaches that were roaming around the kitchenette area. Again, this was not a big deal for me since they weren't ginormous, but one huge cockroach did appear one day near the bathroom. It's one thing for the room to look somewhat different from the advertised photos, but please at least keep the space much cleaner. (The laundry machine was bonus, but I had to buy laundry soap next door at the convenience store. This should have been provided considering there was an empty soap box on the floor next to the machine.) The reason why I booked this place was to do frequent laundry rather than stay at a hotel... I traveled from NYC, so it wasn't like I was an average Chinese tourist from a domestic region. This was my first visit to China since 1996.05 and I used my 10-year China visa for the first time since I applied back in 2017.08. Note: I checked out the other rooms on the floor and they were much nicer than what I booked. I'm guessing those were listed on WeChat and the less attractive rooms are listed on here, etc. After I checked out by 12:00 noon, I stored my luggage next door at the convenience store for a few hours. They charged CN¥5/per hour… I paid CN¥15 since I knew 3 hours was all I needed before my flight.

Erdaobaihe is a really sweet, cozy little town. Although it’s not located in the main town area, it is just opposite the beautiful pine forest, which makes the surroundings very peaceful. There are free buses available to travel within the town, which is very convenient. However, as we can’t read Chinese, we mostly relied on Didi instead. Getting a Didi can be a bit challenging due to the limited number of drivers, but as long as you’re willing to wait 5–15 minutes, you should be able to get one. The people in the town are very warm and welcoming. We visited Enduli, and it was absolutely wonderful and truly memorable. The morning view from our room was magical. The room itself was spacious, and the bathroom was equipped with a smart toilet with a heated seat, which was a nice touch. There was a small issue where we found a strand of hair on the bed when we opened the bedsheet. We didn’t make a fuss as I had my own disposable bedsheet prepared. Despite this minor incident, the overall stay was wonderful. What really made this place special was Aunty Wu. She was always there for us and even woke up at 6am just to bid us goodbye. When we were looking for laundry services, she kindly offered to wash our clothes in-house. With my OCD, I was especially touched that she even warmed my laundry bag for me - such a thoughtful gesture. Will definitely be back

長春市は地下鉄の新規工事中です。大経路駅から近いと思って予約したら、大経路駅はまだ開業していませんでした。人民広場駅から歩いて15分くらいかかりました。 私が泊まった部屋は5階で、エレベーターはありません。体力勝負です。 その部屋にはエアコンもありません。私は夏に泊まりましたが夜は涼しいので問題ありませんでした。冬はどうなのか分かりません。 玄関にウサギがいます。 活力城というショッピングモールが徒歩3分くらいの場所にあります。 部屋は清潔で値段の割に広々としていて気持ち良く過ごせました。

Aunque nos quedamos sólo por 2 días y no habíamos preparado nada antes, se aseguró de que podíamos seguir nuestro plan de manera ordenada e incluso sugirió lugares adicionales para visitar. El hotel está situado en el piso 5 y está disponible por ascensor. La habitación era cómoda y bien equipada, con una cama grande. La parte más preciosa de nuestra estadía fue el calor de la tía y el tío aquí. Eran tan cuidadosos y bienvenidos, siempre nos mirando cuando fuimos o regresamos tarde. Nos alejamos de casa, pero sentíamos este tipo de cuidado realmente sentían como casa. El hotel está muy bien calentado, y estamos muy agradecidos por esta estancia. ❤︎

La habitación de 100 metros cuadrados era muy espaciosa y limpia, con todas las comodidades necesarias, incluso bastoncillos de algodón. El patio era encantador, ¡un remanso de paz! Está a solo tres o cuatro minutos en coche de la estación de Changbaishan, ¡muy práctico! La encantadora dueña era amable y competente. Debido a las obras en la carretera, le preocupaba que tuviéramos dificultades para conseguir un taxi, así que nos recogió por la noche y vino a llevarnos a la estación temprano a la mañana siguiente. Como salimos temprano y aún no habíamos empezado a cenar, nos trajo gachas de avena y bollos al vapor, e incluso nos dio un plato de arándanos frescos por la noche. ¡Los frutos rojos del patio estaban deliciosos! ¡Sin duda me quedaré más tiempo la próxima vez que pueda!
