Honest review.. stay with the expectation of a 5-star hotel, but the experience is not comparable to the price. The lobby and check-in process are quite good, the welcome drink is refreshing, and the concierge helpfully carried the luggage. Basement parking is also relatively easy. Unfortunately, many important details reduce comfort. The door of the room does not have a stopper so it is often slammed loud and noisy. Soundproofing was not good, the sound from the next room was still heard. The room size is relatively small for the standard 5-star, and there is no minibar at all, even a paid one. For mineral water, use plastic bottles, not the premium ones with glass bottles. The lighting system was confusing and the bathroom lighting was too dim. There are 4 elevators but it is very slow.. there is often a buildup of guests. The pool area is also less well-organized such as having no concept and not weather-friendly because there is no shaded area. It's ridiculous, having to pay an extra 200rb for access to the whirlpool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was a disappointment: the menu options were less varied, the taste was standard, and the service was less warm (officers lacked smiles). Overall, I wouldn't really mind these things if the room price wasn't this muc, but with a rate above Rp 2 million per night, this experience is less worth it. Compared to 5-star hotels in Jogja and its surroundings, it is still quite far behind.

A la recomendación de amigos cercanos, decidimos probar el Hotel Padma Semarang para nuestra estancia en Semarang, y no lamentamos absolutamente. El desayuno era extenso y delicioso, las habitaciones estaban limpias y cómodas, la sala de gimnasio era hermosa, y el café y pasteles en Goolali también eran de excelente calidad. Si tomas una gira de jeep de la mañana, el jeep te recogerá de la villa con el coche expuesto y podrás sentir el viento en tu pelo, absorbiendo la paz del pueblo y el aire fresco. También tienen un masaje, muy caro, pero vale la pena a 450.000 idr por hora. El hotel tiene una piscina increíble que controla el borobodur y Yogyakarta. El techo de la suite de junior se siente un poco vacío porque podemos oír a los pájaros saltando y desapareciendo sobre él en la noche temprana. La comida no es fantástica, especialmente su desayuno. Pero, ya que producen feces largas localmente, probar sus feces largas. Es cruel y fresco. Su arroz de pollo ayam grillado también es bueno. Su samba, sin embargo, es un must prob. Booked the hotel because of the playground and swimming pool. It is an old hotel with wood accents. Room was quite spacious but the bed sheet was old and lot of brown stain. Can see several bugs in the humid area. Stay 3 nights. Second night, hot water was not working. Called the maintenance but it took 30 minutes for them to come. Asked hair dryer to front desk and took 20 minutes to come. Swimming pool is warm water, but very cold in the morning. It was okay, should be cleaned more frequently because lot of leaves and flowers. The down side, when the pools are crowded, saw some men smoking near the playground. Playground is spacious, but started getting old. There are patchy areas in the grass carpet. The slide area is not slippery anymore, some slides even too slippery, saw some kids slip in the sitting position and complained get hurt. The breakfast selection was not many, but most of them delicious. Especially in the egg station, the (seems like trainee) staff make my egg very delicious!
