This hotel's location is quite good: about 10 minutes walk from Utrecht Central Station and next to a long street with shops (including food and Albert Heijn supermarket). The building itself is very charming and beautiful. While I was there, renovations were ongoing. This did not disturb me at all, except that the available signage to the reception was not sufficiently clear and there was no signage from the reception back to the exit. The hotel staff was friendly and seems to care about the hotel guests. However, the hotel room itself was poorly designed. The room was very cold as it only has a single air conditioning unit that serves as heating. This is inappropriate for the Netherlands given the humid and cold winter climate. The first night, I almost got no sleep because of this. The lack of warmth seems to be a common issue in the hotel given that another hotel guest reported heating in their room not working when I checked in. The room's floor is also very cold, and no slippers are provided (can't wear shoes inside as it was raining and the whole room would get wet as the room did not have a doormat). Another issue is that the room is tiny but also badly designed so that there is no proper space to actually sit and read a book or get some work done (I was traveling for work). My room was on the ground floor with big windows on both sides, which meant I needed to choose between zero privacy (open curtains) or a dark room (closed curtains). There was also quite a bit of noise coming in from outside the hotel. In the bathroom, there is no shower curtain, which means that the toilet gets completely wet once you take a shower, which is pretty inconvenient, especially given that only one big towel and one small towel is provided, so that I had no tools to dry the toilet after the shower (and again, without slippers, my feet would get wet going to the toilet, which is also not convenient). Altogether, unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel, even though I had been looking forward to my stay there as I had heard it is a beautiful place.

Reservé con Trip.com y elegí las fechas equivocadas. Al pedirle al personal del hotel que la cambiaran, me informaron que Trip.com no lo permitía, y viceversa. Viajo por negocios y placer al menos 15 veces al año. Nunca antes había tenido un problema así. No volveré a usar este servicio.

An absolutely stunning hotel! The experience was flawless from start to finish. The menu is refined and delicious, and the service is beyond exceptional with a highly trained, kind, and attentive staff at all times. The bathrooms were spotless, and the towels wonderfully soft. I truly enjoyed my two day stay here and will definitely come back soon.

Was extremely pleased with the room - in fact, I have just booked the same for my next work trip. Very comfortable, stylish room. Small wardrobe for hanging clothes (seems obvious, but I had just stayed in a Hilton Hampton a few days before, and there was not so much as a coat hook). Great bathroom, with nice fragrance toiletries. Robe & slippers for relaxing. Important for me - desk / work place (although desk lamp didn't work) And of course, hotel is perfectly located near Utrecht Central, an important transit point. Thank you, team

Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra estancia en el Hampton. ¡La ubicación lo es todo! Está justo al lado de la estación de tren y dentro del centro comercial. Hay muchas opciones para comer y comprar. El barrio es muy transitable y hay mucho que ver.

Este hotel se anunciaba como muy cerca de la estación de tren, pero en realidad fue extremadamente difícil de encontrar. De hecho, se encuentra en un centro comercial llamado Hoog Catharilne. ¿Por qué no escribir la dirección directamente? No aparece, y tampoco en Ctrip. Al final, dimos una vuelta completa por la estación de tren durante 40 minutos antes de encontrarlo. Ni siquiera había un cartel grande del hotel. Preguntar a los lugareños también fue un infierno. De verdad que no quiero repetir esta experiencia. Así que adjunto el nombre del centro comercial y una foto para que lo encuentren. ¡Y no se fíen de Google Maps, es inútil! I stayed here while visiting Utrecht for a rave, and honestly, it was the perfect choice. After an incredible night out, coming back to such a clean, comfortable, and welcoming hotel was absolute bliss. The bed deserves a mention — it was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on! Especially after hours of dancing, it felt like laying in heaven. The room was spotless, the staff were friendly and professional, and the whole place had a really calm, relaxing vibe. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to recharge after such a great event. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Utrecht — especially if you’re here for a night out and want somewhere peaceful and pristine to crash afterwards!

We kennen hotel The President zakelijk al langer, sinds de jaren 90 was dit de standaard voor buitenlandse collega’s, voor onszelf boeken we privé als we voor een evenement in Utrecht moeten zijn. De kwaliteit is prima en je kunt met het OV makkelijk per bus naar Utrecht centrum, halte is paar honderd meter lopen. De auto kun je op de parkeerplaats van het hotel laten staan.
