We arrived around 5pm and were warmly welcomed by Brian, who showed us to our room right away. The lodge is newly renovated, very clean, and has a lovely cozy feel. Brian was very helpful and shared some great tips for visiting the Cliffs of Moher, which is just a short drive away. We also enjoyed a nice walk along the Doolin cliff trail before visiting the Cliffs. The next morning, we had a wonderful Irish breakfast. There was a good selection of bread, ham, cheese, cereals, yoghurt and juice, plus a hot breakfast cooked and served by Emily. Brian also made us a nice cup of coffee. Overall, it was a really pleasant stay. The lodge is peaceful and quiet at night, making it a very relaxing place to stay. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at the Old Ground Hotel in Ennis and was thoroughly impressed. The hotel has a wonderful mix of history and comfort., the old manor house setting gives it real character, yet everything feels modern and welcoming. My room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after exploring the town. Staff throughout the hotel were consistently friendly and professional, creating a warm atmosphere that really stood out. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Ennis, with free parking. Overall, the Old Ground Hotel delivers on charm, convenience, and genuine Irish hospitality. We absolutely loved our stay! The location was excellent quiet and peaceful even though the hotel is location is centre city , which was perfect for us. We were celebrating our friend’s birthday, and the lovely welcome selection of cakes was such a thoughtful touch. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even taking care of our bags when we arrived early. Breakfast was excellent, with great gluten-free options available, which was much appreciated. We really couldn’t fault the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back again! Thank you to everyone for making our stay so enjoyable and special. Highly recommended! ¡El hotel es un hotel de calidad muy alta, muy confortable y muy confortable, con mini frigorífico y aire acondicionado! El restaurante y el pub estaban dentro del hotel, ni siquiera tuvo que ir fuera para acceder a ellos! Incluido el desayuno buffet fue bueno. El hotel está muy bien, pero no hay nada que pueda comer. El entretenimiento fue excelente - algo para todos. Definitivamente iba a volver. El personal también era muy útil. Sí, tuvimos un gran tiempo.

Honestly very old hotel with slow flow of water , rooms are ordinary , its basically old and traveller who are flexible and can adapt to situations and lifestyle like this , sure okay but for people like us who need everything precise , surely not a good one.
