The spa - hamam, sauna and indoor pool (1m deep though?!) is the hotel’s best feature. There is no beach access though, so I went to Nea Hora and Golden beach. Rooms - too small, lack of storage space, complex buttons and unnecessarily complicated console. It was quiet even though I was given a 2nd floor room. The overall signage in the hotel is confusing too. Beds and pillows - huge and comfy. Food - excellent. Massage decent. Toiletries good. Only frontal views are of the sea, but cost 10x more! Otherwise - trash can views!😤 A la carte breakfast - too slow, you eat less, always a misunderstanding… and after you order they take away the menu… Rooftop pool - a scam! Sunbeds always occcupied and need to be booked to see the sunset 🙄 there is another rooftop on 7th floor but after 10min you want to leave, because there are no showers, a pool, toilet or a bar… Staff is young, fakely polite, too slow and not very responsive - obviously trained for certain types of guests (culturally unexperienced). So even to get a locker in the spa you had to wait to be explained how to unlock it (and pass a test?!), even though there are two people at the reception desk. My coffee capsules, sweetener, and teas were not replaced the following morning during the housekeeping visit and a used glass was not washed. The balcony pool is tiny and got a lot of fluff from the street, plus I didn’t feel comfortable using it with it being visible from the street and building right across the street. I was also called at 21:30 (I was asleep?!) to check whether I was satisfied with a complimentary 30min massage (due to the poor room view)… 🤷🏼♀️ I understand that it is a new hotel and they are trying their best but I also paid 800+€ for two nights and was frustrated during 50% of my stay… 😒 I attended a high school for tourism and hospitality, worked as a masseuse, also and worked in 5-* hotels Chania 30 years ago, but stayed in a multitude of 4-5 star hotels worldwide since. Especially in Asia where the service is top notch. Therefore, all of this is not acceptable for such a high price. Yes, the welcome drink is nice, and so is the complimentary massage, but you should do better, Hilton!

Aunque el hotel está ubicado a la orilla del mar, está cerca de la terminal de autobuses, la estación de autobuses del aeropuerto, el museo arqueológico, el castillo y la calle 25 de Agosto, la más concurrida. Todos estamos a poca distancia. Somos tres en este viaje y elegimos. para alojarse en una habitación familiar. El hotel ofrece espacio. Es muy grande, alcanza los 35 metros cuadrados, suficiente para alojar a 4-5 personas. La decoración está bien diseñada y el desayuno es rico y delicioso. Ubicado en una zona antigua, el entorno circundante es relativamente estrecho y sucio, y debido a que es fuera de temporada, el último piso del hotel tiene vista al mar. El restaurante aún no está abierto. Green y Leagecy, en la misma área y bajo el mismo grupo, quiero probarlos la próxima vez.

We stayed here for 4 nights. I had booked a sea view room, but they said it was upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi. While the jacuzzi was nice and relaxing, the sea view was quite limited, which was a bit disappointing. The property is located in a remote and peaceful part of the island. It has excellent internet access and a decent outdoor gym. Since it is right by the sea, you can enjoy walking or running along the coast to the nearest town, Mavrikianon. One important thing to mention is that the property does not have direct access to the sea. To swim, you need to go to either Plaka Beach, which requires a minimum spend of €40 per person to use the sunbeds, or to Mavrikianon Beach, which is much more affordable at €5 per person for the entire day. Mavrikianon Beach is very pleasant and close to markets where you can buy drinks. There are also some good food and drink spots nearby, such as Rudi’s Bar, a British-style pub, and Porto Rino, which serves great pizzas. Make sure to skip Nico’s Fish Tavern and try the Ferryman instead — you won’t regret it. What we found most frustrating was the lack of mosquito screens on the windows. Sleeping with the windows open was not really an option, even though the natural breeze was wonderful. Our room had air conditioning, but we tend to get sick sleeping with it on. There was a ceiling fan as well, but it is a shame to miss out on the fresh air simply because of a missing screen. The breakfast was also a disappointment. There were very few options, the coffee was not good, and the omelettes were overcooked. The most inconvenient part of our stay was the parking system. You have to check in and out with security every time, which felt excessive and time-consuming. It gave the impression of entering a high-security zone, not a relaxing holiday resort. Overall, it was a good experience with some nice features, but for the price, it lacks comfort and convenience in a few key areas. .

And about transportation, you can choose either hotel's pickup that is expensive but convenient, or the local bus ( I chose KTEL, it's very comfortable but please check the timetable on the website). La cena en el hotel fue un destacado restaurante, con una variedad de restaurantes que ofrecen platos frescos, deliciosos y de fuente local. Hay algo para cada palacio, y nunca tuve una comida que no era de arriba. Las instalaciones del resort son igualmente impresionantes, con un spa que ofrece tratamientos indulgentes, un centro de fitness bien equipado y varios piscinas perfectas para el salón. Si buscas un descanso relajante o una base para explorar Creta, The Royal Senses ofrece en cada frente. El hotel está situado en una zona de 4 estrellas, con una ubicación ideal para explorar la isla, con fácil acceso a las playas, a los pueblos encantadores y a los lugares históricos. En general, el Royal Senses Hotel es una combinación perfecta de lujo, confort y auténtica hospitalidad creta. Esta revisión destaca el lujo, la ubicación y el excelente servicio del hotel, atractivo para los viajeros buscando una experiencia de alto nivel.

The hotel is pretty clean and modern. We found the beds to be very comfy and the hotel's location was pretty convenient near the old town and port areas. The rooms are well appointed with a couple of chairs, a work area, a coffee/tea station, big TV and a large bathroom. There were enough plugs around the room and many switches with light settings to get it just right. We appreciated the balcony and the view outside but there were some cars that drove by with very loud music each night. The only significant complaint we had was that the bathroom shower leaked very easily in our rooms and got the floor wet near the toilet. The breakfast at the hotel was pretty good with a variety of Crete foods like cheese and pastries. There was fresh scrambled eggs and a very good sausage available as well. The breakfast also had a large variety of preserved fruits that paired well with the Greek yoghurt and included oranges, cherries, grapes and figs. We appreciated that the hotel had inexpensive parking nearby at Central Parking which was 7 Euros per day with unlimited in/out privileges as long as we got a stamp when we got in. The hotel also had a restaurant that offered room service and there was a popular cafe just across the street. This hotel was a good base for exploring Crete with a convenient location near the airport and the price was very fair for us.

Por accidente, me reservaron las fechas equivocadas para permanecer, pero logré cancelar una semana entera antes de que me debiera quedarme.
