Excellent stay. The hotel is ideally located if arriving by train. We arrived in the morning and were pleasantly surprised that we were able to check in early as our room was ready. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a roomy walk in shower. The only thing that would have improved it would have been some drawer space as it only has hanging space in the wardrobe. All the staff were helpfull and friendly. We had an evening meal and breakfast during our stay and both were excellent. We also made use of the leisure facilties during our stay. Overall would highly recommend and if we visit York again would definitely stay at The Milner.

The staff were so very nice, nothing was too much trouble, we arrived with two small dogs and they were treated like royalty, Kim and Maria behind reception and also Maria who served us in the buffet were so nice and even though Maria was off duty (from the buffet in the morning)that evening she helped Kim out when I had a problem with the tv, and they sorted a new one out straight away.   We fully intend to use the hotel again next time we are traveling that way. The hotel have exceptional great staff

Excelente ubicación, a 10 minutos a pie de la estación de tren de York. También 10 a pie al centro de la ciudad, a todas las atracciones turísticas. La ubicación es excelente, caminar puede llegar a la habitación Betty y a la catedral York. Los cuartos familiares no son grandes, las camas pequeñas no están ahogadas, se han dormido temporalmente con un dormitorio, y la residencia en Gran Bretaña es básicamente este nivel. El armario del hotel es de color blanco a T, se nega directamente al personal de comentarios del hotel, un poco incómodo. En un restaurante grande, muchos chinos también vio el desayuno británico, y el sabor se dijo en el pasado. Parking, relativamente problemático. El estacionamiento recomendado por el hotel, necesita una reserva en línea, también debe introducir el código de descuento, conducir en los últimos cinco minutos, volver a más de diez minutos, aproximadamente 20 kilómetros al día después del descuento, y es probable que haya riesgo de no tener un puesto de coche tarde. Otros parques de estacionamiento necesitan encontrarse por sí mismos, y hay unos precios más altos. En el hotel, hay un parque de estacionamiento en la parte derecha, hay un precio barato, se puede pagar después, pero no hay una buena ubicación.

La primera vez que vino tarde, no se encontró camino a media noche, Google navegaba con pollos, el otro lado del cordón, y un pequeño cordón, los ojos verdes, la única luz de la noche era los ojos verdes, y el sudor cayó. El día siguiente descubrí que la carretera al lado era un terreno de humo. Los monstruos, el día se acercó.

Hemos estado aquí antes y es limpio y cómodo personal son hermosos y la comida es excelente 👌

Realmente encantados con nuestra estancia aquí. Nuestra habitación era cálida, amplia y tenía todo lo necesario. La vista era preciosa. El edificio en sí también es muy interesante.

Room was good, loved that the leisure centre was open till late so could get time at the pool and jacuzzi even after sight seeing. Breakfast was great, nice continental selection, and a picturesque view from the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and attentive. A potential improvement could be the hot water control in the shower - ours was a Deluxe room with bath. The temperature was either scalding hot or ice cold - there was no in-between.

More of a motel attached to a restaurant than a conventional hotel. Rooms are small but clean enough and fairly comfortable. Situated in the middle of nowhere so a trek into Leeds, York etc. Food and drink in the restaurant are a bit expensive

The hotel is located in a great place, The aesthetic is perfect for the building. If you are disabled you may want to give this hotel a miss, as even if you specifically ask to be near a lift when you book they may put you in a room with no lift access at all, and the staff are not very helpful or accommodating even when you have a disability that is affected by stairs. The queue to check in was over 50 minutes even though we tried to check in much later than 3pm. The hotel has a lot of stairs, the room was not spotlessly clean but adequate and came with all the basic requirements. The view from the windows was great. Overall this is an ok budget hotel that is only suitable if you are able bodied and can deal with a large number of stairs.
