El hotel está situado cerca de un jardín botánico. La piscina termal, 2 jacuzzis abiertos y un spa interior crean un ambiente maravilloso. Las damas que limpian la habitación merecen la calificación más alta, ya que es difícil mantener todo perfecto mientras los invitados usan las piscinas termales con agua de hierro (manantial volcánico). Buen desayuno y terraza.

The first room I was given was very old, with a broken floor, damp on the wall by the bed, and paint that was peeling and coming off. The room was located in a separate building from the hotel. I was quite disappointed because this is not what one would expect from a 4-star hotel. The explanation I was given was that I had booked through a budget platform. Luckily, after changing rooms twice, I was finally able to get a room in the hotel’s main building. The reception staff were very kind and understanding of my family’s needs. Once in the main building, everything was exactly as expected. The pool is beautiful with a stunning view, which is the reason I have returned to this property for the fifth time.

Fue mi primera vez en este hotel. Fui con mi hijo de 4 años y estuvo excelente, muy agradable, con un desayuno excelente y muy variado. Mi única queja fue que los huevos revueltos me parecieron raros, al menos no como suelo comerlos así; quizá estén hechos con huevo líquido o clara, no estoy segura, pero por lo demás todo estuvo excelente. La habitación era perfecta para que durmiera, y pude colocarlo con seguridad para que no se cayera de la cama 😆. También estuvo genial que tuvieran bañera, porque en muchos otros sitios donde he estado con él, casi siempre es solo ducha...

A great resort on the North Coast of Azores. The trail along the coast from the hotel is very nice. There are a few restaurants around and the hotel has good breakfast and a restaurant on site opening for lunch and dinner. Good for family, the hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They can help you book tours and call taxis.

Clean hotel, budget breakfast. Old pool (not very clean) and no access to the gym. Far from the city and no transfer.
No restaurant, only a bar with regular food like burgers and pizza (not very good).

El servicio es bueno, el personal está entusiasmado, el desayuno también es bueno, el hotel está al lado del puerto, frente al Atlántico, la ubicación es excelente, en el centro de la ciudad, y comer es conveniente. La insuficiencia es la tarifa de estacionamiento, 12 euros por noche. El hotel tiene un servicio de coche y una buena actitud.

NNodynessoThe check-in was the most problematic part. I hadn't received any instructions from the host (also not in spamfolder) how to unlock the entry gate to the property. It was already getting dark and the host was also not reachable by telephone. Monica from Trip customer service eventually managed to forward the necessary entry codes to me (many thanks for the assistance!).
++ The room was spacious and convenient, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom and toilet were clean and there were enough towels. For those who like to watch TV: a huge flatscreen with plenty of channels. The shared patio with a little swimming pool is very nice with beautiful sea view. The property is quietly situated at a 15 minute walk from the centre of Angra.
-- No written instructions (e.g. WiFi password) or general information (amenities) available. There are shared facilities in the property and the kitchen can be used for preparing meals (self catering). Although the reservation mentioned breakfast included, there was no fresh bread brought in. Not the end of the world but better not mention it as an option. Also unclear if items in refrigerator belong to other guests (self caterers) or are for general use so we didn't touch any. The host was not available by telephone for questions and also never responded to my initial calls on the day of check in. The room was in the basement and from time to time some smell from the sewer pipes lingers in the room.

GGusNSA truly wonderful hotel.
With only 9 rooms, the staff focuses on making every guest experience exceptional.
The location is great, central enough to explore the Island and come back too every day. While the view from, and upon exiting, your room will take your breath away every single time.
All of the accommodations are top notch, the bed was supremely comfortable and even the linens and towels had a plush feeling.
Breakfast options can be slightly redundant but the quality and freshness of the ingredients, along homemade jam and juice, as well as a flexibility to switch things up on the menu, more than make up for it.
We the hotel restaurant is excellent for dinner as well. So much so that we ended up defaulting to it more than once during our stay.
We also appreciated small details like the phone they provided upon check-in that followed us everywhere on the island for spur of the moment suggestions and reservations through the hotel!
All in all, highly recommended, my wife and I know we’ll be back!

Desde la cálida bienvenida hasta las cómodas instalaciones, todo fue perfecto. Las habitaciones eran amplias, limpias y bien equipadas, lo que nos permitió descansar de maravilla después de días explorando las Azores.
El desayuno era variado y delicioso, con opciones para todos los gustos. La ubicación del hotel también fue una gran ventaja, ya que permitía un fácil acceso a las principales atracciones de la ciudad.
Además, la amabilidad y la disposición del personal marcaron la diferencia en nuestra experiencia. ¡Sin duda, un hotel que recomendamos y al que nos encantaría volver!

UUsuario invitadoIm afraid to write all this because this place because when we want to go back here, it will get too busy. We travelled with a baby and the hotel provided a high chair and crib which made a huge difference for us. They even upgraded our room. The staff is very responsive and would respond to my queries prior to arriving. They would help me with any questions at the front desk. Bernardo, Joal, and Claudio were excellent help. They had great recommendations for tourist things to do that met the needs of our family. The hotel and apartment were immaculately clean and staff were so friendly and thorough. We enjoyed the continental breakfast everyday. Some people complained in previous reviews its the same items each day but we found there was a new item each day. I also appreciated the consistency because I knew what to eat the next morning. The woman who does the breakfast has a wonderful spread. The fruit, coffee, eggs and everything were fantastic.

I think I might have been the only person staying there, I didn't see anyone else except for about 2 seconds in the breakfast room. The only contact I had was by email, and all the instructions were only sent the morning I was traveling, so I didn't receive them until I got to Pico. The room was comfortable enough and very clean. But lots of things are dated. The internet was non-existent. The air conditioner and bathroom fan were both ancient and made a lot of noise. The breakfast was only meh, but the view from the breakfast room was lovely. The location is good, close to town and in a quiet area. I didn't spend much time at the hotel and it was too cold for a swim, but I imagine that would be great when the weather is warmer as the pool also has an amazing view. It's worth it for the price.

UUsuario invitadoFoi uma estadia ótima, mesmo tendo sido apenas por uma noite. O quarto estava limpo, arejado e muito confortável. Quero dar um destaque especial para o atendimento da receção no dia em que chegámos: o senhor que nos recebeu foi extremamente simpático, fez questão de nos apresentar o hotel com todos os detalhes e deixou-nos logo à vontade. Esse cuidado no atendimento fez toda a diferença e tornou a experiência ainda mais agradável. Recomendo!

UUsuario invitadoThe hotel is conveniently located with a great view over the harbour and sea. I guess the low overflying planes might be a problem, but I wear earplugs when away anyhow! Quite dramatic and not an issue for me.
Reception staff were very helpful, as were the restaurant staf esp. Bim and his colleague - I really felt welcomed, though first night it was chaotic with two many people (coaces?) trying to get fed in a relatively small dining room.
The buffet style I liked, less choice for me was good!
I especially liked the soups and fish.
Overall. I would recommend.

IT IS SMALL AND LOVELY AND EASY TO MANUEVER AROUND THE HOTEL OR TO WALK OR DRIVE TO THE CENTER AND WELL BEYOND THIS VERY CHARMING AND BEAUTIFUL GRACIOISA ISLAND. I FELT VERY AT HOME AT THE HOTEL. EVERYTHING WAS MANAGED VERY WELL BY THE ENTIRE STAFF. THE RESTAURANT SERVED A 3 COURSE DINNER THAT WAS BETTER THAN THE LOCAL RESTAURANTS AND COST LESS MONEY. I HOPE TO RETURN TO GRACIOSA TO THE CARAPACHO THERMAL BATHS AND THE HOTEL GRACIOSA INATEL THANK YOU, H.L. USA
