We never previously stayed at a LaQuinta and I can assure you we never will again!!! We were lied to about the room by the front desk person who got off at 3 p.m. The first room we were in, that the front desk person lied about and moved us to, appeared to have water coming up through the floor. When we entered the room water was puddles under the bed and around two sides of it. We cleaned it up except for the part to show the water was clear and not a mess made by our dog. When we tried to call the front desk, the room phone did not work at all not even a dial tone. While waiting for the front desk to change our room, we flushed the toilet and it was like a floodgate of water started appearing from the floor. Getting back to the front desk girl lying to us. I told her that I cannot physically climb stairs because she was telling me i would have to climb 3 flights of stairs dur to problems with the elevator. We were told that though the room would be a queen bed, instead of a king, it was not as far to walk as the elevator and it was a drive up room. Well, let me tell you, we passed the elevator on the way to the room and it was all the way to the end of the hallway. Also, from the after 3 p.m. desk clerk, who straightened out the first desk clerk's mess and who did not lie to us, we found out this LaQuinta has NO drive up rooms!!! I has prepaid our room with no mention of a fee for our dog. So, in addition, this dishonest front deskperson charges us a $25 fee for our dog. When we checked out today, my husband asked for a receipt and the dishonest front desk person told him it would be emailed to us. Honestly, at this point we do not trust that our credit card information is secure and has not been lifted. Given all of this, we will NEVER stay at any LaQuinta again and will actively discourage our friends and family from staying in any LaQuinta.

The grounds and exterior of the White House hotel is wonderful. However, other features of this hotel leave something to be desired. Firstly, if you're looking for a place to unwind by the pool with a great ocean view, you're in luck, but unfortunately the pool is not heated. The dining room was unavailable due to ”construction” or ”remodeling,” so any food ordered (which was good) either had to be room-service or eaten at the bar. I stayed in a standard room with a king bed, which was not very comfortable. The vanity light in the bathroom was only half lit, making shaving difficult. The TV in the room was old and the back light seemed to be going out. There was a small 3 drawer dresser for clothing, but other than that, really nothing other than the nightstands to set things on (but there was a very small bistro table for the coffee maker. And the most frustrating part, the AC unit either made the room VERY cold or VERY warm. The uncomfortable bed, with thin covers and a bipolar HVAC made getting good rest impossible. For the same price or less, I could have stayed at one of the casinos with better amenities and more comfortable rooms.

I booked with trips.com and it specifically says deluxe room with balcony vs standard room with balcony . I spoke with manager concerning this and she said show me the email or go to trips.com . I tried to pull it up but it find not and I clearly told her I paid more for the room and she said , the room I wanted was cheaper but did not honor it . She told me the price change if I changed it .. I have worked for hospitality over 15 yrs and never encountered someone not so accommodating .

El hotel estaba en una ubicación excelente. Había muchos restaurantes y tiendas. El joven que nos ha visitado fue muy agradable y amigable. La habitación es muy agradable, pero no es muy agradable. La habitación era agradable, pero la persona en la habitación, ya sea delante de mí o detrás, fumó toda la noche. Tostuve y me aprietó por fumar cigarrillos. Intenté cubrir mi cabeza, sentado en el otro extremo de la cama, pero no ayudó. La jovencita de la oficina delantera no era tan amable, estaba trabajando en algo en el ordenador y seguía la cabeza por mucho tiempo antes de que finalmente le preguntó que podía ayudarme. Somewhat disappointed. We understood that the check in time was at 4pm. However , upon arrival, our room was not ready and we had to wait over an hour for our room. There were a lot of us waiting. Somehow they did not have enough housekeeping staff to clean the rooms that were obviously vacated at 11am as I understood, that was the check out time. As we finally got our room at the 5th floor, we came upon multiple available rooms that were available that needed cleaning. We presumed they needed cleaning because the doors were left open. We actually took a peek inside. I should say, I should give them credit. They gave us free dinner or breakfast. We really were not able to take advantage of the dinner offer since after checking into our room, we rushed to gamble at Beau Rivage. Our breakfast actually came with our booking.

Front desk staff for dayshift is always friendly and so helpful. Unfortunately, mid-shift only has one staff member working the desk and they were not available for 20-25 minutes upon arrival due to helping other customers upstairs. The room was clean, but the sink was slow draining and almost overflowing. Front desk did make maintenance aware so it would be fixed for the next customers who occupy that room. There was quite a bit of dust on the access panel to the tub right beside the toilet. Most disappointing is that the printer in the lobby/lounge area doesn’t work and I needed to print documents for a training I was attending. Overall I will stay here again, mostly because of the staffs cheerful disposition and willingness to assure my stay is the best.

Aunque el personal era muy amable y útil, Esta ubicación no respondió a nuestras expectativas , Las habitaciones no eran las mismas que las fotos que no fue decepcionante el fin del mundo . La primera habitación que recibimos estaba cubierta de bugs de damas y huele como bugs muertos, había un nido en la esquina de la habitación así como muchos muertos en toda la habitación. La señora delantera nos dio otra habitación, pero la nueva habitación no era muy limpia, había muchos pelo en la ducha y en el baño, Después de estar en la carretera durante 12 horas cortamos nuestras pérdidas y nos acostamos . He estado en muchos Hiltons y esto fue honestamente la más sucia que he visto hasta ahora .
